3 days have passed since the break-in. They are currently under protection before they will be escorted to Gakuen Alice.

Yes, you heard that right. They will soon be escorted to the dreadful academy.

Apparently, the academy caught wind of 4 siblings with Alices, currently orphaned and that they were attacked by those who want Alice.

Without hesitation, they send two of their teachers, which were Narumi-sensei and Makihara-sensei to scout on them.

At first, they were, especially Amy, hostile towards these teachers. Can't blame them though. But after explanation and some thinking, not that they have a choice, but Amy agreed, at least they are safer in the academy.

From the outside threat for a few years of course. Considering the timeline.

And it will not do them good if they make an enemy out of the school,

To which, Amy agreed and they were given 24 hours to pack up their things while the teacher retreat to a nearby hotel for quick rest.

However, thankfully, then did not ask too much; like how they can hide away from the academy for so long. Which she decided to tip it to their parents' constant moved to avoid watchful eyes both academy and enemies - although that was not the only factor.

However, she must not stay negligent. If anything she needs to be fully prepared and cautious. Stay low for few more years. And also...

She looks down. On her palm, there are 4 necklaces, each has an orange greyish color. This is an Alice stone. And, not just any Alice stone - it is nullification barrier Alice stone.

One thing which makes the barrier Alice dangerous- is that they can differ and change the property of the barrier based on the user. Personally trained by herself, she knows the full extent of her own barrier Alice. That's why they all decide to hide it, and simply rename it as shield Alice, casting 3cm thick light, shape like a shield, property: rebound all attack. Not to mention that the very word of barrier Alice reminds you of two influential people in the academy. People may jump into a conclusion - which is bad.

And she will keep it that way; a secret, as long as she could.

After they all have packed, all 4 of them nuzzled together on their parent's bed. Taking in the warmth and comfort each of them offers.

Amy looked at Sophie, yusaku, and Mirai with warmth and love.

"Sophie, yusaku... And Mirai. Take this" she says as she held out Alice stone necklace and a little pouch.

"What's this Amy-nee?" yusaku asked

"This..is for an emergency. A way for us to stay connected. And to protect all of us."

"Why? We are just going to the academy right?" Sophie state as she was shocked on how heavy the statement implied by their sister.

"It's.. not just an academy. It's the kind that has so many dark secrets. You do realize we moved away from one place to another right? That, is in a way, for our parents to protect us.."

"Then, shouldn't we run away now?"

"You might be right about that, but that is if no one discovers us as Alice. But now that we are known, Alice academy is a much safer place for us, although there are enemies from within. And at least..." Amy trailed off while holding everyone's hand

"... at least we are together"

Silence ensued between them. And they hug. They know - that they can only trust each other, and no one else. Not even the adults.

"So, what should we do then? There must be something Amy-nee has planned right?" asked yusaku. He realized, no, he for sure knew, that Amy would not back down that easily.

Amy just smile and ruffle his head, much to his annoyance.

"Smart deduction Yusaku. Yes. You see, I have set a few rules all of you must follow and remember which are..."

1) Survive. Prioritize your own survival and safety amongst all else.

2) Stay mediocre. We want to avoid the principal, especially the elementary school principal (ESP) attention.

3) Avoid the High School Principal (HSP) at all costs. He is a kind man, but he can detect our real Alice. So better stay out of trouble

4) Sophie will declare her Alice as super speed, yusaku will be telepathy, and Mirai as flight Alice. And I will be shield Alice.

5) Last but not least, always wear this necklace, even when you sleep. This will help you, although not omnipotent, it will nullify any Alice that attack you. If someone asks, just say that it is the last memento from our parent given by me.

After the rundown of rules, Amy took a deep breath and smile.

"That will be the main 5 rules. Ok?"

Both of them nod. It was heavy, but they know their sister the best. And know that Amy knew what's best. They all wear their necklace and make a pinky swear.
