"Oh? He's here in the waiting room?"

"Yes, he's in here. Let's see, where did he.. Oh! He is with your sister"

Amy looked at her siblings, playing with a child no older than a year old. Upon entering the room, Sophie, Yusaku, and Mirai looked at Amy. Yusaku is currently holding the little child with so much care while walking towards Amy, followed behind by Sophie and Mirai.

"Nee-chan, sorry about this. This little guy here, well, he kinda cries just now. So we tried to soothe him. He is still twisted and turned, but no longer cries. Do you want to hold him?"

Amy looked at Kao-baa san who smiled gently before she took the baby from Yusuke. In the bundle of white cloth, a kid with light brown hair, and grey eyes look at her. She could see how this baby is a bit uncomfortable. Hence, she decided to adjust her hold and slowly, cradle the baby with her lullaby.

Eventually, the baby went to sleep.

She looks at her side and asked,

"So he's the one?"

"Yes, his name is Youichi Hijiri - based on the letter written when he was left in front of the academy."

"I see. And if my hunch is right, us being family is not the only reason right, it must have something to do with our eerily similar resemblance."

"Yeah, that's one more. So that he won't feel lonely.."

Hmm, Youichi Hijiri. Who would have thought that us being here has caused changes in the storyline, where we instead take care of you. But...

She looked at her younger siblings who gushed at this baby with adoration.

But... I guess it won't hurt. To provide a family of our own to him.

"Kao-baa san. We will take care of him starting today. Everyone, meet your new baby brother, Youichi."

"New...?" Sophie asked with a gleam.

"Baby?" Yusuke followed with excitement. Of course, he finally has another brother.

"Bwother!" shouts Mirai happily.

"Yes, a new baby brother. He will sleep in my room together with Mirai, so both of you can drop by soon to help me with things. It's possible for him to stay with me, yes?"

"No problem with that Amy. I will arrange it with the academy. Thank you so much for accepting this selfish request of mine. I will get things ready." Then Kao-baa san rushed to her office to take things already prepared by the school for Youichi.

"Yey! Sure thing. And haluu Yoi-chan!" Sophie kissed Youichi on his cheek before squealing in excitement.

"Alright! Hmm, I should bring this, and that and..." Yusuke nod excitedly before going off murmuring to himself - probably think of things to bring with him.

"Bwother! Bowther! Carry?" Mirai asked, held out her hand. Amy just chuckled slightly.

"Not yet Mirai, he's already asleep. I will let you take care of him later, ok?"

"Yeyy! Bwother!" Mirai giggle excitedly.

Kao-baa san returns soon with a small bag containing things needed.

"Amy, the rest will be sent to your room this evening. I will pick both of them tomorrow morning when you go to school"

"That's good. Thank you Kao-baa san."

"No. no. thank you. Also, take this." Kao-baa san shoved a little pouch to her pocket.

"This?"

"Just take it, my dear. You deserve it."

"I... see? Thanks! Ok everyone let's go back. Mirai waved goodbye to Kao-baa san."

"Bye-bye baa-san"

"Bye-bye Lil Mirai." Kao baa san waved to them as they went out of the kindergarten compound, head straight to Amy's room.
