Carl entered the living room, Mariana on the couch scrolling on her phone. He threw a pillow at her to get her attention. "Hey loser."
"Ugh, stop it you jerk. Anyways, did you fix your little situation?" She wiggles her eyes in a suggestive manner.
"Um, maybe." Carl looked away from her.
"You know, I could've helped you." She rubbed her hand on his leg, moving further and further up his thigh.
"R–really?" His cheeks were getting heated fast. Carl wondered why Mariana had this affect on him, even Dominique never made him feel this way.
"Yeah." She pulled her lips closer to his. Carl was about to connect their lips when Mariana pulled away. "But you're still with Dominique so..."
"What the fuck Mari?! You can't just do that to me!"
Mariana giggled,"It's funny seeing you like this. But in all honesty I would've helped you. But you're still with Dom."
"I'm not with her."
"Does she know that?"
"No."
"Exactly Carl, so basically you're still together."
"Well what am I supposed to do."
"That's not my problem."
"Well you're my problem you idiot."
"And you're my problem."
"Ew not a chick flick moment Mari."
"Never a chick flick moment." She shook her head ever so softly.
Mariana got Carl in a headlock. He giggled at the look on his face.
"You know I hate you."
"No, you really don't." Mariana batted her long eyelashes at him.
"Shut up." He pushed her face away.
"So... It has come to this." Mariana put her hands on her hips, giving a funny but somewhat serious look to Carl.
"Come to what?"
"I don't know. I didn't know what to say." She slumped back into the couch after her weird episode.

"You're a loser."
"I know."
"Why am I friends with you." He gave her a funny look.
"Because I'm irresistible Carl." She made the most uncomfortably seductive face she could.
"Let's go to the mall."
"Well, okay."
"Go home for once, get dressed."
"Ew, what's a home?"
"Just go, or I'm gonna kick your pretty little ass out myself." He winked.
"Whatever Gallagher." She got up and started to walk towards the front door.
"Whatever Mendoza." Mariana then flipped him off.
Mariana opened the metal fence, her house slippers shuffling against the concrete. She could hear her brothers playing. 'Oh god, the dogs are out.'
She walked straight upstairs, not wanting to be part of their game of wrestling, although it was tempting. She put a record on her record player and got dressed. She wanted to look extra special today.
Carl picked his phone up from his bed. He sat down, sighing. 'Am I really doing this?' He dialed a number he hadn't dialed since the night he caught her.
"Hello?"
"Hey Dom." He sighed with resent.
"Oh, hey Carl."
"I need to tell you something." He hesitated, 'should I really do this?'
"Me too." Dominique huffed a sigh of relief.
"Wait, what?"
"Carl, you gave me gonorrhea." Dominique knew this wasn't true, but Carl thought he actually had it. Let's just say Carl isn't the brightest kid.
"Oh." He was speechless.
"What do you have to tell me?" Dominique tried to act sweet, after all, she did convince Carl that he gave her gonorrhea.
"We're breaking up. I'm sorry." Carl ran his hand through his hair.
"What the fuck Carl? You give me gonorrhea now this? What else, you took the bike you bought me too?!" Dominique was yelling hysterically.
"Actually I did."
"When?"
"The night I caught you at that frat house kissing another guy."
The other end of the line went silent, then the ringer started ringing, signaling Dominique hung up. Carl didn't know what to do. He gave Dominique gonorrhea. That meant he couldn't have sex with Mariana. He gave one girl gonorrhea, he couldn't give two girls gonorrhea. Especially not his best friend.
"Fuck my life."

Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons: Year One
Build a Dungeon. Slay Heroes. Survive Finals. Wounded Army vet Logan Murray thought mimics were the stuff of board games and dungeon manuals… right up until one ate him. In a flash of snapping teeth, Logan suddenly finds himself on the doorstep to another world. He’s been unwittingly recruited into the Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons—the most prestigious interdimensional school dedicated to training the monstrous guardians who protect the Tree of Souls from so-called heroes. Heroes who would destroy the universe if it meant a shot at advancement. Unfortunately, as a bottom-tier cultivator with a laughably weak core, Logan’s dungeon options aren’t exactly stellar, and he finds himself reincarnated as a lowly fungaloid, a three-foot-tall mass of spongy mushroom with fewer skills than a typical sewer rat. If he’s going to survive the grueling challenges the academy has in store, he’ll need to ace the odd assortment of classes—Fiendish Fabrication, Dungeon Feng Shui, the Ethics of Murder 101—and learn how to turn his unusual guardian form into an asset instead of a liability. And that’s only if the gargoyle professor doesn’t demote him to a doomed wandering monster first…

The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.

[Nudity Yes, but as of now no sexual content.] Phill is dying(Yeah, that cliche again). He has cancer and around a year to live. His degrading health has rendered him unable to go out as usual as once he used to do. Spending most of the time in the hospital, Phill plays Ulteria: the VMMORPG, which has time dilution giving him 2 years more than what reality is offering. That and all the world"s" of Ulteria to explore, but there will be someone and... READ THE CHAPTERS TO KNOW MORE. Note: *This story is solely focused on world-building. World-building that would help me with another project I have been working on for the last 4 months. That means it is a writing practice project for me. *Not a power fantasy. It is more inclined towards paranormal-romance twisted with virtual reality( no harem elements either), and how could I forget about the VMMORPG? So you could expect lots of new species, magic, races, system twists, and a lot of other things. That is if I update it( Naash scoffs at himself.) I am not going to update it constantly, not even twice a week. So any 1 or 2 stray readers who stumble upon this and mistakenly like it (Sorry in advance.) [I am sorry : ( I can't seem to get the spacing right in the chapter. I am going crazy, please ignore it. I will figure it out] This story is also available on webnovel under my username: Naash.
