《cocaine》i had a dream
Advertisement
First of all, my dream(s?) centered around this new hair cut i got. It's a short bob that ends at the chin. I remember being self-conscious about my haircut in both dreams.
This dream (since I think I had two, but they all kind of strung together so quickly that I wouldn't tell) started out at my church. I don't know what we were doing, but I'm sitting in one of the rooms that the 12 and 13 year olds are taught in.
One of my former teachers who also goes to my church was teaching our class for some reason. I asked him a question, (don't remember it enough to write it down, but) he answered it.
After that, me and the rest of the people in the room (there were like 7 if you include me) got rid of the dividers in that room (they're sort of similar to leather curtains. It makes it so you can have 1, 2, or 3 rooms if you need.) and set up a bunch of metal chairs facing the doors. (They're on the left side of the wall.)
I remember this specific scene where my brother went to sit next to me on the very edge of one of the rows, and then this boy that annoys him (I don't think he's a bad kid) sits on the other side of me, since that's the closest he can sit next to my brother. My brother and I moved seats 3 times before he settled for a spot, and I moved elsewhere.
I sat down next to this one girl in my church. For some reason this was the first version of her from the time she and I met. By 'first version', I mean when she had a short bob, like I did. Her bob was around a centimeter or two below the chin, and lacked any sorts of layering. She looked at me (I was sitting to her direct right) and looked straight to my new haircut. I asked if she liked it. But all she did was just mutter "About time you got a haircut..." under her breath, and I remember really getting hurt by that statement. (Like, was I not pretty or something? or was my hair appalling before?)

Then, a lot of people from my church were there and sitting in these chairs. I remember looking behind me and seeing all these middle-aged men who looked like they had type-2 diabetes, and consciously thinking that there were a lot of fat people in my church.
And that's where that one ended.
This dream started out at school.
I was walking into a gymnasium sort of thing with my friend (More A.C.). I think she mentioned how she or I needed a haircut. (I was wearing a hoodie, and hood was thick enough to ride up my cheeks when worn down. It gave the illusion that my hair was still long.)
I was at my locker, and one of my friends with green glasses and a green jacket said hi to me.
This other girl who I know from art class was trying to talk to me, but I couldn't really understand her for the following reasons. 1) She already has a thick accent when she speaks in real life. I don't know where it's from, but it's there. 2) In the dream, she was sipping on orange juice from one of those juice-box things while she was trying to talk.
I actually told her that I couldn't understand her in this dream due to those factors.
I ended up holding her juicebox for her, and accidentally spilled some on hers and my jeans. I remember clearly thinking that my jeans were new, but it was fine. (They were blue bell bottom jeans.)
I took my backpack out of my locker, forgot to close my locker, and then went back to close it when one of my friends pointed it out to me.
I went to my crowded lunch table, which was for some reason in the gym, and was also in the same room as these giant, green lockers.

I was reading my book and left it open when I went to leave. I then left the lunch table to go upstairs for something. (I slid under this bar for a shortcut to go to a separate set of stairs, or something.)
I don't know what I went upstairs for, because I literally just went back downstairs to the lunchroom.
I come back downstairs to the lunchroom gymnasium locker room to find one of my friends tearing up my book. Now, this book is my sister's book that I'm currently reading in real life called Wings of Fire Legends Darkstalker. My friend looks like what she does in real life, like all of the other people I've seen in this dream so far. She's unkempt, light brown hair that goes just above her shoulders, a jacket of some sort, and is sporting an almost feral grin.
She and two other people were tearing out pages of my sister's book with evil glee. I took the book for them and started to cry. Tears were filling my vision and my throat closed up. I got to our principal and could barely tell him what happened due to my crying messing up my speech capabilities. He said he'll take care of it.
Then the fire alarm went off, and everybody panicked. Most people went to grab their backpacks if they didn't have theirs already.
Then, all of a sudden, we were all standing, statuesque in every way shape in form other than actually being a statue, and lined up firemen are marching towards our building, adorning yellow coats and hats, and a bright flashlights that give off a stark white light.
And that's when I wake up from my one hour nap.

Greg Veder vs The World
The average person can easily understand that when it comes to living in a villain-infested, crime-filled city like Brockton Bay, treating life like a game can get you killed. It's kind of ironic, then, that Greg Veder has always been far more serious about games than he ever has about life. (Worm/The Gamer AU)
