《Cocaine Rose (Urban)》ATL Baby

The drive to Atlanta wasn't as dreadful as I thought it would be. Minus the continuous lecture from my mother about making the best of my new surroundings, my baby brother crying, and my older brother snoring that is. The entire drive I felt as if I was being renewed. As if the closer we approached our new home the further the problems I left in Chicago got pushed into the back of my mind. The trip seemed much shorter than it actually was. It only took us 12 hours or so to reach our destination. We pulled up to Roswell manors around 5:30 pm and once I caught sight of it I knew I would love my new home. The gated community was beautiful, 3 story houses, manicured lawns, expensive cars, and not to mention a great deal of eye candy. While my brothers were scoping out the pool and surrounding scenery my eyes were glued to the basketball court. All I saw were beautiful chocolate and caramel men running up and down the court. My thoughts were interrupted by my brothers slamming of the trunks door. I flung open my door, grabbed my Louie travel bag and stepped out of the car. My eyes were still glued to the basketball court and that's when I first noticed him. He stood at what had to be a cool 6 foot 2 inches and had a smile that could give a hot girl cold feet. I must have been starring hard because he turned and caught my gaze and at the instant I immediately felt my throat go dry. He flashed his smile and I could feel my knees giving way from under me. "See something you like Heaven?" My mother asked after placing her hand on my shoulder. I couldn't get my words out so I just starred at her. "I'll take that as a yes", she chuckled as she walked into our new home. I took one last gaze at my new soon to be object of obsession and walked inside on my new home. The first thing to catch my eye was the grand stair case and the chocolate marble floors. They were the same marble floors that covered the floor in my fathers' den. I immediately felt a sense of comfort. My mom let me have first dibs on the rooms because I was the only girl and I opted on the room that was the most secluded. I loved my family but I loved being alone even more. Not to mention my room had a balcony. I knew that I'd probably never use it but I figured it would be nice to look at and fantasize that my prince charming would climb up the side of my house, knock on my glass door, pull me out onto the balcony, kiss my passionately, and we'd live happily ever after. Yeah right I couldn't help but think. I heard a faint knock on my door before it creaked open. I looked over to see my baby brother standing in my doorway. "Come in Peyton" I said. He looked up at me and motioned for me to pick him up. I grabbed him by his arms and placed him on my hips before asking him what was wrong. "Que paso papa" I said. "I like my room, its big sissy" he replied. I chuckled. For a four year old he was pretty in tune with everything that was going on. "You do" I questioned. He nodded his head before saying " do me favor sissy". I sat him on the bed and kneeled down before him. "What's the favor papa" I asked. "Take me to the park peezzzzz, I want to get on the swing sissy" me whined. I raised one eyebrow and said "on one condition". His face scrunched up questioningly as he asked "what"? "You have to give me the worlds' biggest kiss" I said. He smiled and jumped off the bed, I grabbed him and he wrapped his hands around my neck before giving me a huge kiss. "I love you sissy" he said. "I love you more P.J." I responded. With him already hanging onto me by my neck I carried him down the stairs. "MOM" I shouted. Within seconds she came running up to us out of breath. "What's wrong, is everything ok"? She asked frantically. I laughed and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Mom, we're ok. Peyton wants to go get on the swings I just wanted to let you know that we were going". I stated. "Oh that's fine sweetie, sounds like a great idea." She replied. She gave us both a kisses on the cheek and then we were off. Once we stepped outside the devil must have possessed Peyton because he broke free of my grasp and bolted towards the playground. I tried to keep up with him but the fact that I had on slides and that I was severely out of shape wasn't helping my case much. By the time I got to the park I was severely out of breath and Peyton was already up on the swing, his Jordan 12's floating in the wind. I stomped over to directly in front of his swing, ready to chastise him but my words got caught when I noticed who was sitting on the swing next to Peyton. My object of obsession was right there. He had been sitting on the swing next to Peyton they entire time and I didn't even notice. He probably saw me attempting to run after P.J. and thought I was a complete loser. Peyton must have tuned into my feelings because he saw my face and chuckled and that's when he lifted up his head. I could feel the blood rush to my cheeks and my face get extremely warm, and at that moment the only thing I wanted to do was crawl into a hole and die. "You gonna stand there all day or you gonna say hello" ? He said. I opened my mouth to speak but no words would come out. My mind was so wrapped up in his sexy northern accent and his piercing green eyes that my words escaped me. He got off the swing he was sitting on and walked towards me. "I'm Julian" He said. "I'm Heaven" I replied. He chuckled. I raised my eyebrow and asked him what was so funny. "Nothing is funny. It just figures that would be your name" He said. I blushed. "So you from Chicago huh"? He questioned. "How'd you know that" I replied. He turned to look at Peyton. "Oh you met my little brother, duh" I chuckled. "Yeah lil man is cool" he responded. "Yeah he is" I chimed. He smiled before saying "He probably gets it from you". At that moment I felt every part of me die. If he had been any closer to me he probably would have heard my heart beating through my chest. After a few more silent seconds someone from the background called his name and motioned for him to come back over to the basketball court. He told them he'd be right there but before leaving he grabbed my hand and kissed it. "It was nice meeting you Heaven, don't let this be the last time we speak" He said. I smiled and he ran back over to his friends on the basketball court. I swung around with Peyton for a few more minutes before he started complaining about being hungry and wanting to go home. We walked hand and hand back home, me on a cloud from my close encounter with the object of my obsession and Peyton content that he got to get on the swings and would soon be indulging in some pizza. When we got back home I gave Peyton a bath, fed him some pizza, and tucked him into bed. Once my big sister duties were over, I floated into my room, kicked my slides off, and plopped down onto my bed. I looked at the hand Julian had kissed earlier and found myself smiling stupidly to myself. "Trust me, I'll make sure we speak again" I whispered before turning off my lights and drifting off into a deep sleep.
