Y/n's Point Of View.

I woke up with Kei resting beside me. I was in a very comfortable position as I had a good nights rest.

But, I don't remember falling asleep in this bed. Did he carry me?

Well, last night the moment I noticed he was asleep. Rin came out of the room saying Kei was also fast asleep. I didn't want to leave him there and I cannot carry him.

So I asked Rin to take care of her sister for the night and bring me pillows and blankets. I slept in his arms last night, the floor was cold... but his embrace was warm.

The first thing I did was check Kei's temperature, I was relieved that its normal now. I kissed my baby's forehead before standing up to wash my face.

And as I was about to enter the bathroom. I heard noises coming from the window. And when I peeked..

I saw Ran and Rin playing in the backyard together with Sanzu, Rindou, Koko. I think the whole Bonten is here because I saw more familiar guys sitting on the side lighting up their cigars.

They were playing dodgeball, I even saw how Ran threw that ball over Sanzu hitting his face. They all laughed.

Anyway, I proceeded to go to the bathroom to wash up. And once I got out, I saw Kei standing and looking at window.

"Kei, why are you up?"

"Mommy I feel so much better now, can I go and play with them?"

What time is it though? I checked the wall clock and it's already almost lunchtime. I guess I must've really slept well.

"You can't play yet, but we can go there right now and watch them."

She sighed and nodded her head, I brushed her hair and made her brush her teeth first before we head down to the backyard.

But it almost gave me a heart attack as soon as I saw a small dude with white hair suddenly appearing the moment we reached the ground floor.

He extended his hand, "Here, you can have this since you were sick." It was a Taiyaki.

Kei gladly accepted it, "Thank you so much!"

The man proceeded to walk over his room at the dark corner of the hall. This is the first time I've ever saw him again after years. He still hasn't changed.

"I don't wanna play anymore, I'll play with Kei instead."

Rin quickly quit the game after seeing her sister walk in. She immediately approached her and took her hand as they both walked over the plant box.

"That's unfair Salty number 1. We are not finished yet!"

I honestly can't with this man, he won't stop calling them Salty even if I tried to beg for him to stop.

"Mom was arrested, her own servants dragged her down when I filed a report."

"How can a criminal file a report?" Sanzu asked.

"Important thing is, she's going to rot in prison for everything. Does that make you happy?" Ran glance towards me.

I was beyond happy when I heard that news, so I nodded my head.. finally, I received the justice I've always wanted.

"I'm glad."

"I'll go get the twins now." I turned my back at them as I started walking away.

Things are still a bit awkward between me and Ran, I'm guessing it's because he's a bit shy towards me knowing that he literally burst out in tears like a kid.

But for now, he's taking us to see Mr. Haitani.

The twins were playing on their IPad as I walked inside our room.

"Put that down now, we're heading out." I called for them, they're already dressed up so they just turned off their IPads and run towards me.

"I'm excited!"

I am excited too, not because I feel something for him. But just to see how he is, Rindou told me his health was bad.. so I'm worried about him.

Anyway, I met Ran at the drive way where his car was already ready to go. I put the twins on their seats as I walked over to the passengers seat.

Long story short, we arrived to his mansion which gave me massive deja vu moments. It's been a long time, and things hasn't changed yet.

His servants greeted us, and lead us to the main door once we got down from the car. We went straight for his room, which didn't change at all.

I was about to open the door when Ran stopped me. It made me confused as I looked at him.

"He probably doesn't remember you anymore." He said, giving me a heads up.

"Why is that?"

"My dad suffered with Alzheimer's disease."

I was surprised to hear that, but that doesn't stop me from introducing my kids to him. Because the last thing he requested for me is a grandchild.

I ignored Ran's words as I open the door myself, and there I saw him sitting on his bed as he was drinking tea... he looks older, but his handsome features didn't change at all.

I didn't know how to feel after hearing that. But I took the twins with me and entered the room.

"Y/n.." he called.

My heart dropped to my stomach as I heard him say my name with widened eyes as he was looking at me. Ran was also surprised because he recognized me.

"He doesn't even remember us..." Ran said under his breath, He wasn't expecting him to be calling my name just like that.

I took a deep breath as I took the twins' hands and walked closer to him. I saw him smile as he saw me coming closer.

My emotions were high at this point, I wanted to cry but I don't want things to be awkward.

"You came back?" He has a smile on his face when he said that.

"Come on, say hi to your grandfather."

The twins were shy as they were hiding behind me. Mr. Haitani's eyes landed on them as he produced an even bigger smile.

"You bought some mini you." He says. "Who is that guy over there?" He pointed at Ran.

"He's your oldest son, Ran Haitani." I chuckled.

"My oldest has long hair, I don't know that man." He completely snobs Ran as he puts his attention to the twins.

He taps the space beside him, signaling them to go sit next to him. The twins looked at me first, I nodded as they both shyly climb to the bed next to him.

Mr. Haitani then took out his wallet and gave them each a card. The twins were confused because they obviously don't know what that is.

"Buy everything you want with that. You can even buy a whole house and lot together with furniture with that." He was proud when he said that to the twins. "But don't tell your mother, because she's just going to spend that on her daily shopping with her friends."

The twins nodded with a smile, I face palmed. And speaking of friends... I wonder what happened to Raven and Morgan now, I haven't thought about them since there's too much things going on.

"Say.. do you know this woman right here?" Mr. Haitani asked while pointing at me.

"She's our mommy."

"Oh, Y/n! Did you end up getting married with my son?"

"No-"

"Yes, father." Ran cut me off, he wasn't even coming in he's just at the door frame.

"That's nice, live a happy life okay? Just like you've always wanted.. and tell my son everything you told me that day. I'm sure he'll be happy."
