For the longest time I've been trying to relax my pace

This heart of mine is throbbing so fast, rising and falling as every second pass

Can't control this unrest anymore, having nightmares with you being the devil of course

My ears heat up, and dragging fingers through my hair

Is this how anxiety plays its game?

My mouth is dry and palms are sweaty

Can't dare to close my eyes, as I know your face will come to my mind

With every breath I take, one thing is clear

My head is more foggy and fumbled to another layer

Running out of thoughts now

But rising to a conclusion

The brain is very powerful and the thoughts in it are stronger

Just keep moving as nothing can stop me any longer.
