I wandered on aimlessly, carrying a yellow backpack. I was wearing my distressed jeans, which also indicated my frame of mind. All I knew for sure was that I had no plan or destination as long as things were in motion. I was unsure whether I was trying to catch up with life or if life was catching up with me! I had new avenues to explore and an extreme sense of relief that this whole exercise did not have to amount to anything. It felt liberating to just be on this journey, where my feet led the way, and my mind chose to stay comfortably numb.
