《Fallen Miracles》Where is he? - Chapter fifteen

Third person:
Kageyama burst through the doors of Fukurodani with many emotions swirling in the pit of his stomach. The events of the night were starting to blur together and the one person who was able to actually calm him was not with him. Actually Kageyama had no idea where his Sunshine was and it made him feel sick. His mind flashed back to the wing spikers' dread filled face when the greasy butler whispered in his ear. He remembered the guilty look his boyfriend's mother wore but most of all he remembered that moment especially.
"Look you asshole! If you believe for even a second that Shoyo will leave with you then you are sorely-"
"I'll go with you,"
Kageyama swung his head downwards faster than light as soon as those words left the redhead's mouth, while the smirk Raijin was presenting widened instantly.
"Like hell you will! Sho you don't have to do this! You don't have to save these people from their problems, let them figure it out by themselves! Come on we have to go," the raven snapped, attempting to drag his partner through the door before he could say another word. However the smaller of the two did not budge, not even an inch; and as soon as it appeared Kageyama's anger turned into something even more troublesome than anger.
Desperation.
"I'm not doing this for them Kags. I'm doing it for you, Natsu and the team. Akaashi he... he has the power to ruin every single one of your guys' futures with the flick of his finger and he would do it without a second thought. I'm not willing to risk that. If I don't go and see him I don't know what the consequences and repercussions would be. I would never forgive myself if you couldn't go on to play professionally because of a rash decision I made." He mumbled, loosening the grip Kageyama had on his wrist "I'll go with you Raijin in return I ask you to at least organise a way for Kageyama here to get back to Fukurodani."
"Ah, that won't be necessary Raigen because you aren't going Shoyo." Kageyama interjected. The situation was slipping out of his control, but was it really ever controlled?

"Yes I am."
"No you-"
"Gah! I'm not asking for your permission, Tobio. I'm going. I'll be fine I promise besides I have some things I want to say to that bastard anyway," The tangerine grinned trying to lighten the mood in any way he could. That smile. It had fooled Kageyama so many times before but this time... he could see right through it. This Akaashi guy was bad news and he quite clearly had scared the living daylights out of Hinata which in turn scared him. Don't get him wrong Kageyama knew first hand that Shoyo wasn't really the bravest when it came to intimidating players and what not but in the end he would always be able to face them with his head held high. But he could confirm that Shoyo looked utterly terrified .
Kageyama hesitated slightly, "If you go... will you promise that you will come back to us and me no matter what?" he asked, his eyes dropping to the floor slightly.
A soft hand placed itself lightly on Kageyama's head gently pressing their foreheads together "I promise I'll come back. And if I have to fight my way back, so be it."
Back in the Karasuno room at Fukurodani the team was now preparing to retire for the night for once all was peaceful. Suddenly the door to their room swung open and there stood a flustered and pale looking setter panting who looked like he had just run a half marathon.
"Kageyama? What's the matter? And where's Hinata?"
"Where is he?!"
Hinata Pov
Well this is shit. Never in a million years did I think that 3 days into this training camp I would end up being driven in the back of one of the Akashi family Rolls Royces to see the former Captain of the generation of miracles. But it must be done, Akaashi is unpredictable to say the least and I won't put my friends and sister in his firing line.
But still just my luck I mentally groaned, refocusing my attention to the blurred scenery outside as Raijin continued to drive through the still bustling Tokyo.

The car was dripping with a heavy insufferable aura that felt like it was sticking to anything that was made of matter, only the sound of Raijins finger tapping against the steering wheel could be heard. As we continued our journey I noticed how gradually the houses had started to get significantly fancier until I found myself with my jaw slacked.
I didn't even know that these types of houses existed in Tokyo! Damn my life savings would never be able to pay half of what these houses are worth.
By the time the car came to a stop my eyes felt heavy with sleep but that feeling quickly left when I realised my surroundings. In front of me stood a dark double storey modern looking mansion. It was just as intimidating as the owners and yet I felt my eyes jumping in all directions in awe. It looked cool! Scary... but so cool! They even have a valet here. Yup you heard me a freaking valet.
"Alright if you are finished gawking Orange I would appreciate it immensely if you hurried up and followed me to the main office. Due to your deeply moving actions prior to arriving you have made me late. The Akashi family staff is prided on their punct-"
"Yeah yeah I get it and frankly I don't care about what the staff here pride themselves on. I'm going to be in and out so hurry and lead me. To be honest you're the one making yourself even later," I spat.
A satisfying 'tch' left the butler's mouth making me internally laugh. Despite acting confident on the outside I was actually freaking out. My legs felt like jelly underneath me as I was led through the twists and turns of the house.
I need to calm down. With the way I am now he'll be able to sense my fear easily. Breathe Shoyo, we are both just two normal 15 year old boys who used to play basketball together in middle school no big deal... Oh who am I kidding i'm freaking out here! I feel like I'm gonna...
As if hearing my mental conversation, Raijiin spun around to face me to give me a contempt once over and scoffed.
"I recommend that you straighten yourself out right now. You look like you're about to puke or you're constipated or maybe both? Well whatever it is it really does look quite pitiful. I can't have such an ill-looking being in the presence of the young master,"
I shot him a glare
"Then why the hell are you here? The only ill-looking thing here is that cheap second-hand suit and greasy mop you call hair." I snapped back.
If you couldn't tell already, Raijin and I have never really been that fond of each other. The first time we met I may or may not have dented the escort car he was using to pick Akashi up trying to do one of Kuroko's misdirection passes at Kise's head. Long story short Akashi's father made him pay for the repairs as "he should know better than to get in the way of the talented" or something like that. Apparently he had to blow a couple thousand from his personal savings so it was safe to say after that he was always snide towards me so I guess you could say I'm just matching his energy.
"Sill as irritating as ever,"
"Still as mundane as ever no wonder you're still single" I muttered, smiling smugly when I saw Raijins cheeks turn red from rage. I mustered the strength to improve my posture and calm my exterior when we stopped outside a large wooden door which I assumed opened into Akashi's office.
Two loud thuds echoed through the large hallway as Raijin's fist came into contact with it. My palms felt clammy and all of a sudden the room had gotten 100 degrees hotter and colder at the same time, it almost made me shudder. Seconds later a commanding center responded to Raijins knock.
"Wait out here until I announce your presence," He muttered, gripping the hand tightly as he opened the door and shut it behind him.
OK here we go.

New kingdoms expand as the old decay. This is a story of those who lived in the times of change. Dear Reader, Thank you for stopping by! This is my first attempt at writing something of more substantial length and would be incredibly grateful to receive feedback and advice. The plan is to post at least a chapter a week and more if I find time. Also, in order to not disappoint any expectations; the story plays in a fictional world reminiscent of the real world 17th to 19th century with some supernatural elements, but no obvious magic or game-like system.
