Me and lori run home. I quickly get ready and curl my hair.

"Hurry up Vanessa" said Lori.

"Sorry sorry I have to look good" I told her.

"Just hurry it's already been 30 minutes" she said.

"Done" I say putting down the curling iron.

"Let's go we don't have much time" said Lori grabbing my hand.

We both run outside. we take the fast route to the park. we get there and loris boss as usual is screaming at everyone.

"Where's vance" he asked lori.

"Uh he can't come Uh his mother Got sick but don't worry we got a replacement" lori said.

"Well you should look at the crowed and see what they want" he said to us.

We all looked outside there was a bunch of people screaming

"Vance vance" over and over agian.

"Uh we need adam now" said lori.

"I'll call him he's probably on his way" I said taking out my phone.

I dialed his number and he picked up.

"Dude where are you your like 20 minutes late" I yelled into the phone.

"Don't worry we're on our way did Sheldon and danny make it" he asked.

"Yup there by the slide" I said.

"Ok see ya can't wait to see your performance" he said quietly.

"Oh thanks yours guys too" I could feel my face turn hot.

"Bye" he said

"Bye" I say and shut the phone.

"Is he here" lori asked me.

"Yup on his way" I said.

"I don't think the crowd can hold much longer" said lori.

"Guys I'm here" I hear adam panting behind me.

"Thank god now get this show on the road" I said.

"You got it ma'am" he said.

"Break a leg now go" I say.

The performance it was way better than I imagined. uncle mitch had a great use for the clones. he pretend that he magically made adams appear. it was a fun act. in the end thankfully no one cared if vance came the act was a success. even gillan had a great time being his assistant. I had almost forgotten it was my turn next. I got up to the stage. lori mouthed "it's Gonna be fine" adam gave me a thumbs up. at first I decided to sing the same song I had sang infront of lori but it didn't feel natural. (btw if you wanted to know the song she's referring to is Style by: Taylor swift)

I took a deep breath and sang the first song that came to my mind.

Everyone clapped and cheered. lori looked so proud of me. I scanned the crowd for adam but I didn't see him. I got of stage and went back stage. I went into the office and saw adam sitting on a chair.

"You were so good vanessa" adam hugged me.

"Aw thanks" I said blushing a bit.

"Ok let's go perfect should be here on cue and Lori should be here with him" adam said.

We both go outside. adam starts asking everyone where Lori went. finally her boss said "she went with you a few minutes ago you two headed for the big slide"

Me and adam both look at each other. lori didn't know that he was perfect.
