《Diagnosed (Alan x Eric)》Another Job Done
Advertisement
After Ronald left Alan and Eric continued to the report station and each grabbed a clipboard with a few pages of paperwork, and started to fill out the it out. After a few minutes Eric finished.
Patting Alan on the back Eric said, "I'm going to give this to William-san now. See you later, Alan."
Alan looked up from his clipboard and said, "Okay then. See you around Eric-senpai," and waved to his friend as he departed.
Eric then departed. He walked down a slightly narrow hallway with a bunch of doors labeled with names. He then came to a door with a door labeled William T. Spears. Eric knocked on the door and waited for an answer. "Come in." Eric heard, so he opened the door to find William at his desk filling out paperwork.
William looked up from his desk and said, "Ah Eric Slingby. What brings you by?"
Eric held up the clip board and answered, "Finished my paperwork for the collection job I took yesterday," and Eric put the clip board on William's desk.
William took the clipboard and flipped through the papers. After a few minutes William took the paper from the clip board and put it in a fill cabinet. "Thank you, Eric, for taking on that job."
"No problem," he bowed then walked out of William's office closing the door behind him.
Eric sighed then started walking back the way he came, with his hands in his pants pocket. He finally was back in the lobby.
Thanks for putting up with this chapter. I know that it was a bit boring... Arigatou for reading though! ~Emma

Daybreak
In a world of swords, magic, and wonders, Vreil suddenly loses his family to a twist of fate. On his quest to survive, he follows a mysterious wizard, and becomes embroiled in a revolution he knows little of. He cultivates magic, learns to fight with a blade, and meets worthy companions. He grows stronger and more mature, gradually turning from prey into a hunter. And in his journey, Vreil clashes with pirates, immortal jokesters, wolves and, even worse, sheep. Can he use magic, blade and wit to fight them off? Or will he be the one to fall instead? Follow Vreil on his adventures. Witness the dawn of an era. 🧙🧙🧙 This is a story I'd written a few years back, and I figured it's a waste to just let it sit around. Most of it is already written, but I'm going through the chapters and editing the shit out of them. This story is NOT a Lit-RPG, so no blue screens or anything of the sort. It is just fast-paced fiction with slight cultivation elements. Updates are bi-daily (so every 2 days), and chapters are 1500-3000 words. As always, feedback is more than welcome. Why are you still reading the synopsis? You have already decided. Go ahead, give this story a shot. It's worth it.

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)

The Rovaldan Lancers
“Who stole my underwear? The Dark Lord is coming and I can’t ride to face him with my pecker hanging out!” - High Paladin Waltz “Small Pecker” Vonstein. A series of shorts depicting the Rovaldan Lancers in their 2000 year struggle against the archenemy, The Dark Lord. Follow this not so prestigious order which guards The Bastion, a not so formidable fortress which is the obstacle standing in The Dark Lord’s way from invading the realm of Rovaldan. “Invasion? I just want to get an honest paying job and pay taxes. The Ruined Lands have terrible food and even worse entertainment. The standard of living here is truly terrible.” - An excerpt from an interview with The Dark Lord. Chapters will be short, between 400-1200 words, with at least three release a week and more if I am able. This is a serious attempt and writing not so serious fiction and thus should not be read by the faint-hearted. Controversial topics including current issues and politics may and shall be used along with tropes in a satirical manner. Read at your own risk as The Rovaldan Lancers deal with the everyday struggles of guarding a border no one want's guarded and their ongoing rivalry with The Dark Lord.
