《The Gray Brothers✔️ (Wattpad version)》Homecoming humiliation

We all got ready for homecoming. Kat helped me with my hair and makeup. I let my excitement get the best of me as I kept bouncing around in my seat.
"Will you stop moving, or your eye makeup will look like a cat," she huffed.
I couldn't help but laugh.
"Maggie!"
"Okay, okay." I tried to hold still.
Kat finished, and I looked in the mirror. She did a fantastic job.
"Kat, you need to go to school for this."
"Yeah, I'm thinking about it." She put her stuff away.
I got up from my chair as Marcy and Macey were finishing up. The boys were waiting downstairs for us. The girls went on ahead while I checked my lipstick one last time.
"Wow. You look amazing." A deep voice said.
I turned to see Nash leaning against the doorframe. I smiled at him. "God, I hope so. It took Kat an hour to do my makeup." I walked towards him.
He looked at me. "Have a good time tonight."
"I plan on it. I get to go to homecoming with the guy I like. What else could be better than that?"
Nash leaned into me. "Well, I hope he treats you right, or he'll answer to me."
His breath fanned my face, which smelled like vanilla.
I almost got lost in the moment but snapped out of it. "Um, I better get going."
"Yeah, you don't want to keep the tool waiting. I mean Bryson."
I rolled my eyes. None of the boys liked Bryson, if you couldn't tell. I didn't even know why.
We walked downstairs, and I joined everyone else as we all made our way to homecoming. The surprise that awaited us would go down in history books as to why the boys did not like Bryson, and I would soon find out why.
We pulled up in the limo, got out, and made our way to the dance floor. I searched for Bryson and found him by the punch bowl.
"There you are!" I said.
"Here I am," he said.
"So, would you like to dance?"
"Yeah, but first, why don't we have something to drink." He smiled.
Everyone made their way to the dance floor.
"Punch?" He gestured at the punch bowl.
"Sure." I smiled.
Bryson poured me a cup of punch and handed it to me. I took a sip. Before I knew it, something dumped on my head. I looked down to see punch all around me on the floor.

People stopped and watched everything go down.
Tiffany walked around with an empty cup in her hand and kissed Bryson.
Then he turned to me. "Did you think I would go out with someone as creepy and as hideous as you?"
I stared at him in horror.
Then he started screaming at me. "God, you're pathetic! Oh, Bryson, you're so dreamy. Oh, Bryson, why won't you notice me? Bryson, I think you and I would be so good together. Sound familiar?" He mocked me. Oh, God. It was an entry from my journal, and he was reading a copy. "Oh, wait. It gets better. Bryson, I would do anything if you went out with me. To feel your body against mine, to taste your lips."
I snatched the paper out of his hands and looked around to see everyone staring at me in stunned silence. My breathing increased, and my cheeks became hot.
"Seriously? Did you think I would drop my hot girlfriend for someone as ugly as you? That's so funny! Don't you think that is funny, Tiff?"
"I think it's hilarious," she cackled.
I couldn't stand there anymore. "I think I'm going to go," I whispered.
"Yeah, you do that," he spat. I turned and made a hasty retreat.
The boys watched as I hurried out of homecoming, being covered in punch and humiliated.
"Okay, what we did was nowhere close to what that tool did," Nathan said.
Noah looked at him. "That tool signed his death warrant."
"Why would he do that?" Nolan asked.
"Because he's an utter Dickless asshole," Nixon said.
"So, are we going to stand here?" Nathan asked.
"Nope, we'll have some fun." Nixon cracked his knuckles.
While the boys took care of Bryson, the girls took care of Tiffany. Yeah, this turned into one hell of a homecoming.
I walked home sticky and feeling like absolute shit. I wiped tears from my eyes. At one point, I took my shoes off. All I could think about was I wasted four years on a boy like him only to realize the boys were right. He was a tool. I also realized I need to burn that damn journal when I get home.
Once I got back to the house, I saw Nash in the living room. I needed to sneak past him. I couldn't let him see me like this. He would laugh because that's what the Gray Brothers did. They enjoyed my misery.
I went through the back way. When the coast was clear, I made my way upstairs as Nash stopped me. "Mags? Why are you home so early?"

I froze in my spot, hearing his deep voice. I didn't turn to face him. "Oh, I wasn't feeling good."
"You sick?"
"Something like that. I'll take a shower and feel better."
"Okay. Feel better."
I ran up the stairs. Thank God it was dark. He didn't see me covered in punch. I made my way into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I undressed and stepped in. The water cascaded over me as I washed the punch off me, along with everything else. Then I cried.
One guy ruined senior homecoming. All I had, were memories of my crush humiliating me. FML.
"Ma and Dad will kill us for getting suspended," Nolan said.
"Yeah, but it was worth it," Nixon said.
The brothers all sat in the principal's office, waiting for their parents to show up.
"Where are you going?" Nash asked his parents as they walked towards the front door.
"Well, it seems your brothers got into a fight at the dance," Nate said.
"All of them?"
"All of them, along with their dates," Pat said.
"Why?"
"We don't know. They said something about some tool deserving it. I didn't even know the school had tools at homecoming," Nate said.
Nate could be a little dense.
"Dad, a tool is what you call a guy when they're an asshole," Nash explained.
"Nash Nathaniel Gray! Language!" His ma said.
"Sorry, but it's true."
"Well, tool or no tool. We have to pick up your brothers," Nate said.
They both left the house.
He sighed, knowing why. It didn't take a great genius to figure out why I was home early and why his brothers were in deep shit. He walked upstairs and came to my closed door. He tapped on it. "Come in," he heard me whisper.
He opened the door to find me shoving my shoes and dress in a garbage bag.
"Mags?" His voice was soft.
"Oh, hey, Nash. I was cleaning up. What's up?"
"What happened at the dance?"
"I told you. I wasn't feeling good. But I'm feeling better now." I faked a smile.
"Then explain why my brothers are sitting in the principal's office right now, and my parents have to get them."
"I don't know. That must have happened after I left."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive."
A few minutes later, we heard the front door open and yelling coming from downstairs.
"I don't care if the guy is a tool or not! It does not give you the right to beat the hell out of him!" Nate said.
"But he deserved it!" Nixon said.
"And you deserved to get suspended for three days!"
"But, Dad! You didn't see what he did to Maggie!" Nathan said.
"I can gather a good guess, but it still doesn't mean you take matters into your own hands!"
"But, Dad!" Noah whined.
"Enough! Go to your rooms! We'll discuss your punishment later!"
The four of them stomped up the stairs.
Nathan said, "You try to do one good thing for someone, and you get the shit end of the stick."
"Yeah, but at least he knows now what it's like to mess with someone we care about," Nixon said.
They all agreed.
Nash looked at me, and I looked at him. "Now, will you tell me what happened?"
I sighed. It would be a long night.
I told Nash everything that happened. To say he was beyond pissed didn't even describe half of it. He couldn't help but take his brother's side on this one. So he did what any good big brother would do. He went to bat for them with their parents. His parents were in the kitchen, sitting at the island having coffee when Nash explained everything to them.
"That poor girl," Pat said.
"Look, I know you want to punish them, but they were only doing what they thought was best for Mags. Maybe, go a little easy on them for this one," he said.
His dad sighed. "Fine. But they're still getting punished. How is Maggie?"
"She's heartbroken. Dad, there is so much she hides. Her parents don't care, and the guy she liked turned out to be a douche. I feel for her. I do."
Nate looked at him. "Nash."
"What?"
"I know you, Nash. Be very careful. She's a sweet girl."
"Trust me, Dad. I know." He walked away.
Pat looked at Nate. "What?"
"Did you forget that you're older than me?"
"No, I haven't forgotten, and you remind every day of that fact." He sipped his coffee.
"I'm only saying it wouldn't be a bad thing if Nash and Maggie ended up together." She shrugged.
"Pat, I know what you're thinking, and stay out of it."
"Oh, Hunny. You know I can't do that." She got up and patted his shoulder.
"Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of." He drank his coffee.

Love Of Baybur [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
The Sultanate won a huge battle against their enemies of different religion, and now left them with only a piece of land surrounded by Sultanate's forces. Baybur, a yerliyya from a backwater place, is hailed as a hero after the war for his past contributions in a strange manner and is, thus, invited to a banquet prepared by the Sultan and attended by many Great Nobles. To Baybur, who had dreams of stepping on a higher stage in Sultanate's politics, and in his Orta's ranks, this is a chance for him to shine and rise. Yet he, and many in the banquet, knows that victory is far from over. And this presents a chance, with greater risk than before, to impress the Sultan and the Pashas of the Sultanate. Sanjak-beys and Aghas of the Janissary Corps all seek to devour their enemies, both in and out of the Sultanate. And Baybur, in the midst of this brewing storm, is no different from a fish dreaming to be a dragon. But a woman he meets at the banquet changes everything; his goals, his dreams, and his fate. After all, love, without expression, is a deadly curse. As a note, Cover is not mine obviosuly, and I write this both for NaNoWriMo and Writathon. To some history lovers and nerds who specialize in it, I know you might be angered quite a deal with some things I've written.(I get the feeling when someone talks wrong foolish things in a study I know, no hate) But this is a historical fiction written by a seventeen-year-old, don't expect much from me to know every single detail. Much of my research is surface level and some things are, well, to fit plot, are changed. So bear that in mind. For schedule/chapter thingt, there will be at most five chapters until I pass the 55.555 words mark. Each chapter will be around or above 10k+ words. It is also not edited, and probably won't be unless I find a great deal of time in my hands after November to see what I lack in where. That's all. Now go read, or leap to another fiction. Enjoy!

Sustentation: An Exsanguinate Novela
Kareem and Wesley are roommates who live entirely different lives. Kareem drifts through life with no goals or purpose besides finding his next drink of blood. Wesley is a devout Christian who seeks salvation for both he and Kareem. Both have their secrets and as the two are forced to spend more time together they learn more about each other and themselves. Together they come to qustion the meaning of power, Christianity, and how far the definition of humanity truly goes. Sustenation is the corner where nutrients meets addiction. Will Kareem and Wesley be able to separate the two? Note: I update my other fictions weekly, but I'm not sure what the schedule for this one will be. There's no real plan here. I just had an idea and decided to run with it. I usually plan excessively before I start a fiction, but I don't have a plan this time. It takes place in the same universe as the Exsanguinate fiction, but doesn't really have any links to the other books.
