December comes,
A perfect snowman stands tall, as the leafs were long gone. Snow covered the streets, and everything turned so white and free.
But do you know what didn't feel at ease?
My heart Jennie.
It was crashing against November, not letting go of the line between Christmas and Halloween, and I was doubting my happiness.
I was doubting myself.
Between the mask of pretending to be fine, ran a child from the cold, trying to push everything away. But Jennie, I just couldn't let go.
Not certainly - of you.
The night rolls, making the eager kids helplessly fall asleep. Enchanting lights darken, but my heart stays on the same pace, expecting a halo from the angels on Christmas.
Knock knock.
I lazily walk up to the door, not expecting to see her again. But there she was, Jennie Kim. Fidgeting back and forth, trying to shy away the little blush.
But I saw it, I saw the way she was reflecting back at me like a mirror, and she's all I wanted for Christmas.
"Are you just going to keep me standing out here in the cold?". Jennie whines, making a chuckle escape my lips.
"I never knew Santa was this fast with delivering the presents". I tease you, watching your eyes widen and your face grow red. 'Red suits you'.
You cock a brow, "It does?".
My eyes become wide, and wide enough to make you throw your head back in laughter. And it was such a muse.
I roll my eyes and step away, letting you in, and this time Jennie. Praying and hoping, that this would be the new start of us.
We spend the night, eating cookies and watching your favorite Disney show, and it felt so right when you unconsciously hugged me.
For the first time in Christmas, I thanked Santa, knowing my present wasn't any of my grandma socks as a present. It was you Jennie.
You spending the night with me, and wrapped around my arms, as if I was your blanket, and you were the one I had to keep warm.
Thank you Santa, I'm holding the star this time.
Where is my secret Elf though?

Bone Dungeon: Book 1 in the Elemental Dungeon Series
Ryan doesn't remember much about his life before becoming a dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church -- something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head. But Ryan quickly learns being a darkness dungeon isn't all loot and bone puns. With a necromancer on the rise and the Adventurer's Guild watching his every move, he must prove that not all darkness dungeons are malevolent... even if they do have a few skeletons in their caverns. Sadly, all of these issues keep distracting him from his own guilty pleasure, skeletal fight club. But don't tell his fairy about that. **** I have recieved permission from the publisher to share the first 8 chatpers of the story, as a sample (I am the author of this book) **** If you like what you've read, feel free to hop over to Amazon and check out the full story!
