Gasping at the sight in front of her, which seemed to leave her in a trance, the jaw of Elpida dropped, as she stared onwards at the shocking scene.
Laid in bed, was Sonora riding and smashing her lips on a man whom she just met a couple hours ago at the inn.
The cloth which protected her breasts was halfway down, as the man sucked on her cleavage, grabbing onto her waist tight, arching her back, feeling the pleasure which came with it, soft moans escaping her lips.
She spun around at the sound of the door, checking to see who it was that walked in on the moment.
A slight smirk grew on her lips, as she stared back at Elpida, who was still shocked at the sight in front of her.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were in here-" Elpida uttered, the instant her eyes met with Sonora's.
"I'll leave now" She finally said to her, and then spun around immediately, to leave the room.
Sonora fastened her clothing, getting off the bed.
"Hey!" The man called after her.
"We weren't done yet" He added, but Sonora was already out the room.
She stepped out of the inn into the cold night, calling after Elpida, stopping her in tracks.
"Hey!" She uttered on getting to her.
"By my troth, I didn't know you were in there-" Elpida rushed her words immediately, trying to let Sonora know how sorry she was, to barge in on her like that.
"It's totally fine" Sonora spoke to her warmly.
"I hold nothing against you" She added.
Sonora moved away after speaking to Elpida, staring at the sky, with her arms wrapped around her body.
"I got bored anyways" She muttered.
"I thought Sedonians wanted nothing to do with men" Elpida uttered immediately, moving closer towards Sonora.

"That's how it should be" Sonora replied.
"Though some of us get bored and we sometimes sneak out into nearby villages, to get our bodies warmed by men" She said to Elpida.
"They get scared of us initially, but as soon as we make our intentions known to them, they are down for it"
Elpida listened with open ears watching as tears filled the eyes of Sonora.
"One day, Sedona's gonna be empty, with its people gone and no ruler"
"When I think of that, I am obliged to go out there, find a man to procreate with and keep the clan going" She said in a low voice.
She turned around immediately, her eyes rested in Elpida's.
"You must not say a word of this to Sima, or any other person. Not a single soul must know of the words which just spewed from my lips.
I'll be sent on exile from the tribe, at worse killed" Sonora uttered immediately, grabbing Elpida's hands lightly, and pleading with her eyes.
"Your words remain with me" Elpida assured her.
"Thank you" Sonora sniffed, with a weak smile appearing on her face.
She turned around almost immediately, giving one last look at Elpida, and then walking away.
Feeling so sorry for the duties and burden Sonora placed on herself, for the sake of Sedona, Elpida stared at her as she walked away.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.
