"Pavlos, you swine!" Screamed Aiden, lunging forward to attack, but halted in his tracks as Cedric's soldier blocked him.
"No no no. It's Costa. Get the name right" Cedric chuckled.
He was enjoying every bit of the moment. Shattering their trust and friendship got him so amused.
"You'd betray me, Cedric"
Turning to look at who spoke, Cedric laughed, raising his weapon up and pointing it at Costa.
"You're in no place to speak of betrayals!" Elpida screamed from where she stood, crying and wriggling under the grip of the soldiers.
She glared at Costa, tears streaming down her face, while watching him.
"I take no faults to you all loving and accepting me, back in Lorwich" Costa said to her.
"Cedric's right, I'm not who I proclaimed to be. I only did that to save everyone" He said.
"You did that to save yourself!" Cedric interjected.
"Maybe you're right, maybe I did that to save myself. You were going to kill me, after all. But how the tables have turned" Costa responded.
He took steps forward, his garment sweeping the floors as he walked.
"One more step, and I'll run you through" Warned Cedric.
"You wouldn't dare. The days of me running from you are over. It's time for me to do what I should have done decades ago"
With a straight face, Costa pointed his index finger at Cedric, and in a moment, pushed him off his feet with the force of his powers.
A low groan escaped the lips of Cedric while he thumped to the grounds, clutching his belly, feeling the pain of his back which he fell on.
"Bind him" He heard Costa say to someone.
He raised his head up immediately, trying to see who was drawing nearer to him.
Almost at the point of summoning his magic to ward off any attack, he stopped, seeing the face of Zamarion hovering over his body.

"Zamarion" He called in a low voice.
With a wicked grin, his aide, ally, and commander to his army, picked him up the floor, binding his hands at the command of Costa.
"I no longer serve you, my lord" Zamarion bowed curtly.
He pushed Cedric roughly towards Costa, dropping him to his knees.
Cedric's eyes peered at every one of his soldiers, and he was shocked to find them all, bowing, and obeying the command of the man stood ahead.
His jaw dropped, watching as they seemed like puppets, and Costa the master.
"You see, Cedric" Costa began.
"When you think you have it all, you start losing it. I have graced this earth longer than you could imagine. You'd be stupid to think, you're in a place to stop my existence with all of the petty sorcery I thought you" He uttered.
"Zamarion" Cedric groaned in a low voice
"Why?" He clenched his jaw hard.
"I trusted you" He added.
"I swear, you'll pay for it. I tell you!" He yelled at the top of his voice, while being dragged away.
Costa soon turned his focus on Orion, staring at him in a dangerous manner.
"Retrieve the staff from his hands" He ordered.
"I knew there was reason as to why I didn't like you, Pavlos!" Orion spat.
The staff was yanked from his hands immediately, while the guards kicked and punched him in several places.
"Orion Ray Brennan, I promise that by my hands, you must die" Costa said to him.
"Take them all" He uttered to the soldiers.
"Except the girl"
"She's got powers of our own. I want you to kill her far away from the Wispy meadows" Costa uttered, referring to Elpida who stared back at him with pain and rage in her eyes.

"I'm sorry you had to find out this way" He called softly to her.
He turned around on his heels, speaking in a low voice to the soldiers.
"Do as I say" He muttered, and then proceeded out, with the staff in his hands.
"I'll kill you, Pavlos!" He heard Orion scream while he walked out.
"You have my word"
Costa just as he was, ignored, with one thing in my mind, finishing all of this. It was his wish to end Orion, and that he wanted to get done as soon as possible.
Zephyra had mentioned that Orion would be his doom, but he would change that.
By his sweat, he would.
