feat. your skin (rip)
“kazemaru, you okay?”
endou asked, putting a hand on kazemaru's shoulders out of worry. “yeah i'm fine. but...” kazemaru peeked at you (who's on the bleachers) from the corner of his eyes.
“but..?”
“nevermind...”
—
“hey kazemaru, you can take a break from practice if you're not feeling well.” kidou said as he approached his friend.
“no, i'm fine.” kazemaru said as he brushed off the weird feeling on his back.
“if you say so...”
—
“kazemaru, is something bothering you?” nosaka asked, opening the bottle cap and drinking. “hmm...” kazemaru hesitated, but gave in at nosaka's piercing gaze.
“it's just that i've noticed manager staring at me the whole time and it's kinda creeping me out.” kazemaru sighed as the both of them watched you pass the water bottles and the towels to the boys.
“did you do something perhaps..?” nosaka guessed as kazemaru shook his head, “i don't think i did something that'd make her sta–”
“kazemaru, here.” you gave him a bottle of water and tossed a clean towel over his shoulder. “... what are you so stiff for?” you asked, weirded out.
nosaka only stared at you with amused eyes, wiping his sweat with the towel.
“well, you've been sta–”
“oh my god, even with the wind blowing...” you uttered, seemingly dazed while staring at kazemaru, who blinked; “.. pardon?”
“hah, i can't get over your bangs, really...”
you mumbled while shaking your head. “my... my bangs?” kazemaru blinked.
“yes, your bangs, it's as mysterious as the bermuda triangle. i don't know how it defies the law of gravity and just stays still even as you play soccer.” you suddenly blurted out. nosaka stifled a laugh from beside you.

“i bet it still wouldn't move even if i hang you upside down by the dorm's gates.” kazemaru flinched and chuckled uncomfortably as nosaka just enjoyed you babbling nonsense.
“i'd certainly die to have bangs like yours. mine just wouldn't stay still and i've already tried putting on a double sided tape but i ripped my forehead's skin a bit when i tried to remove the tape so it's not really recommended. ...” you sighed in despair as you made your way back to the bleachers.
“so that was why she had a bandage wrapped around her forehead the other day...” haizaki, overhearing you, sighed out of disbelief.
“i never thought it was because of that dumb idea...”

The Girl in the Abyss
Synopsis: The mysterious force known only as "God's Guidance" implemented a game-like system and rebuilt the planet using continents from five different worlds. Join Ellie, a young girl whose soul is filled with an ocean of love and trust. No matter how horrendous the circumstance or dreadful the suffering her kindness manages to shine through, but everyone breaks eventually. Watch as the horrors of reality slowly chip away at a pure soul until nothing but a monster remains and follow her down the path of despair as she finds a reason to live. ‘Our fate is one that always leads to suffering, but you can smile, I’ll shoulder everything else.’ Warning 1: This story covers very mature themes which I have listed here: Torture of a child (The MC is the victim), death, killing, slavery, and light gore. Nothing sexual ever occurs to the main character. Warning 2: This is another apocalyptic LitRPG, has a brokenly OP MC, bad writing, horrible grammar, and garbage sentence flow. It is my first attempt at writing a story since grade school. Inspired by my four favorite stories: Overlord, CLANNAD, The Arcane Emperor, and Tokyo Ghoul. A note by me: This is not a world domination story or an action story. There is fighting but it's not the focus. Another note by me: This is a work in progress. I’ll likely go back and change stuff a lot. The cover art is by a friend who has encouraged me since the start. Releases: Volume two will not be out anytime soon sadly. I apologize for the Hiatus.

Elder's Game
In a world set upon by an ancient threat, a new cycle of civilisation competes for power and resources. Amidst the games and politicking of Elder beings, the masses are unknowingly ensnared in plots and schemes that were centuries in the making. At the heart of the world’s workings lies the Tyreal Valley—a land that promises to fulfil the desires of those who seek it. As a haven for the truly strong, the path to this promise is paved more often than not in warfare and blood. To two young stragglers fighting for more than just their own fates, it is left as their only answer. But maybe that’s just what their enemies want. Magic system vaguely similar to GameLit ones (no system nor interface to help), with certain elements that are a bit more analogue. Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter

Fueled by hate, disagreements, misunderstandings, and stubbornness, the war wages on day after day. Caught in the crossfire, two teams of fighter pilots of opposing sides come together, with a hope to discover what it means to truly be human, and to end the war for good. This is their story. A story of war, of discovery, and of rebellion. This story (this arc, at least) is now complete. No promises for a sequel yet.
