feat. the lizzy x manager interaction i've always wanted uwu
"... campania, huh.."
you released a sigh, staring at the huge cruise in front of you. "well, it looks good enough, i guess." you judged, nodding. 'but what's with that horrible stench coming from the cruise..? disgusting.' you scrunched your nose, covering your nose.
"allow me to take care of your luggage please." you turned to the person and blinked. "aah, yes." you opened your cha*el purse and took out a badge, presenting it to the assistant who gasped: "i sincerely apologize for my rudeness, please let me escort you to your suite, duchess."
your nose scrunched at the title, "aah, no need, i wanna take my time here outside before being stuck inside for days. and, by the way, just refer to me as lady." you said as the assistant look hesitant ("how could i-" ".") before nodding, "yes, my lady." he left with your luggages, heading off to your first class suite room as you only sighed, 'i knew it wasn't a good idea to use the royal badge...'
as a relative of the royal family (the queen's sister's daughter's daughter), you, the only living member of the family, were expected to visit london at least once a year.* you had no idea what for, but you did it anyways to avoid ruckus or whatnot.
now, you were annoyed- beyond annoyed, actually. see, the day you arrived, you were immediately asked by the queen to step on board the infamous cruise, campania, so you weren't given any rest, at all.
remembering the incident made your head ache once again. you brushed your bangs up, feeling your blood boil: "aah, that cunning woman.. she could've just sent her dogs or whatever but she sent me instead." you complained ("hah, and i don't even know why...").
you rolled your eyes before stepping aboard, unaware of the incidents that would soon follow.
-
you exited the bathroom with a sigh. "as i thought, the problem wasn't me, but the cruise itself. what a horrible stench." you grumbled as you dried your hair with a soft towel (nosaka would fly straight to london and dry your hair himself if u didn't).
'is this why that woman sent me instead? how annoying.' your train of thoughts came to a pause when your phone suddenly kept beeping.
you squinted your eyes, already having an idea on who was messaging you. you shook your head, laughing when you were right.

you let out a snort. you could already imagine the mess when you get back. you put your phone down when you heard a knock.
"come in."
the door opened and the heavenly aroma of (high quality ;-;) food entered the room. "oh, thank you. you may place them on the table over there." you pointed across the room as the female attendant gave you a nod.
'hmm, should i take a picture of it and send it to hiroto? he'd sulk for sure." you giggled at the thought of a whiny hiroto. you sat on your chair with crossed legs, 'i'll savor the meal twice for hiroto.' you giggled once again before tasting the appetizer.
"oh, it tastes amazing!"
-
you stepped into the lounge and scrunched your nose, you didn't like the smell of gossip and ridicule that danced in the air, "even goujin's fart smells much better."
'is this really what i came for? did i really just waste my time for these disgusting pigs?' you scanned the hall, you weren't surprised to see lots of arrogant nobles bragging about their wealth and fame. "hah, i could have been shopping with shuuya right now..." you sighed for the nth time as you regretted your life decisions.
you shook your head and followed the scent of food. "ooh! this cake looks so cute!" you heard a giggly voice and stopped in front of the table. your eyes brightened, 'oh, it does!' there was a large variety of cakes that you didn't know what to eat first.
you spotted a tray of cake pops and picked up a jewel-like dark green one. "oh, this one kinda reminds me of something pretty. i know i've seen this color somewhere, and i feel like i've always been wanting to eat whatever it is." you mumbled as you observed the sweet, 'it's sparkly just like a jewel. i'm starting to doubt if this really is a cake pop, is this even edible?'
you took a small bite, as if to test if the flavor was to your liking, before devouring it in one bite. "oh, this tastes nice! i should probably bring some of these home." you noted as you reached for another one, but then another hand was reaching it too.
you narrowed your brows and snatched it before someone could, and looked up. you were met with big emerald eyes, a contrast to the color of the cake pops you were eating; a pretty shade of dark green. 'hmm, the dark green is prettier.' you shrugged before tilting your head at the girl.
"your hair color is pretty." you complimented out of the blue.
well, if you can't compliment her eyes because you have a thing for dark green, you supposed you can compliment her hair.
"eh? uh, oh, thank you!" the girl in front of you regained her composure from being surprised. "hey, actually, your eyes look prettier than i thought it was. it compliments the color of your hair." you pointed out as you leaned closer.
"that's sweet! oh and your eyes look pretty too!" the blonde stranger exclaimed. your eyes fell upon the plate she was holding, "hey, are you sure you're eating that? i tasted that earlier and it's bitter." you pointed out and looked down at her cute outfit before adding, "you don't look like you eat bitter stuffs."
"oh, this is for my fiance!" she beamed. "you have a fiance?" you blinked, a bit taken aback. and then you realized you weren't in japan, this was a country where arranged marriages between nobles were common.
"yes! he has pretty eyes and hair color! i'm sure you'll find him cute too! he's over there!" your eyes followed the direction she pointed, before narrowing your brows. "eh? he's gone... where did ciel go?" you tilted your head, '"ciel"?'
"i have to go find him, i'll see you later!" the blonde girl exclaimed as she rushed fo find her fiance. as you were left on your own, you realized the two of you haven't introduced yourselves yet.
".. what an odd girl." without nothing else to do, you decided to stay and just eat the sweets you find pretty (esp. the dark green cake pops).
some time has passed and it was just then that you realized that you've somehow made the other guests feel uncomfortable whenever they approach the table (mostly bc u've basically hogged all the desserts ;-;). feeling flustered, you stepped back from the lounge and headed to your room ('aah, i forgot to sneak out some cake pops...').
on your way, you were texting the boys about how you were "gonna bring home some good food", that's when you began to notice that the horrible stench suddenly grew stronger. the more it lingers around the air, the more you recognize it; the smell of-
"death. why is there a horrible stench of rotting corpse?"
you immediately casted a barrier when you felt something near you. you were certain it wasn't human, because there was no presence, but the thing that's facing you- you don't know how to explain it.
it's human- rather, was, human.
"."
you commanded as the walking corpse bursted in front of you, rotten flesh splattering all over the barrier that protected you. you were about to turn around when a few more appeared. "my, my. so this was why that blasted woman sent me here." you laughed to yourself before dropping your smile, "how sly."
your eyes glowed as you mumbled your command, "." you turned your eyes from the sight of your barrier, 'disgusting.' you thought as you snapped your fingers.
"aaaagh! save me!"
a nearby scream brought your attention. you squinted your eyes, following the screams, and you were surprised to see a sea of zombies eating off human flesh.
"... goodness."
you immediately summoned various offensive magic circles and thin invisible barriers for the remaining passengers, "shit, i came here too late." you let out a curse as you noted that only a few made it out alive.
"don't panic, and don't leave this room. lock the doors and any other openings, you're safer here." you said as you rushed to find where the walking corpses were coming from.
your eyes widened when the ship suddenly shook, as if it collided with something. "damn, what now? i'm glad i ended up not bringing any of the boys with me." you cursed under your breath, 'i'm pretty sure i would have probably blew the cruise up already if they were here with me.' you thought before shaking your head.
you arrived at the lounge, where screams were heard all the way from the hallway.
"."* you turned to a small group holding swords, they look like knights. ".. marquess of midford?" you took a guess, seeing the familiar face. the group faced you for a second, recognizing you immediately before keeping on their guard. "... sorciére." the midfords lightly bowed.
although you were a royal, you were more known for the wizard blood that ran through your veins- as the only successor of the famous l/n. the queen had bestowed upon you a title that's only for you, 'sorciére of hearst'.
"do you know where they come from?" you asked. "we don't know, but someone did tell us the way to defeat them; by smashing their heads." the son, edward, informed. "smashing their heads? that's so..." you scrunched your nose- there's no way you would touch them. "... anyways, i suppose i can leave this up to you. i should go find where they keep coming from."
'so that i can kill them all at once, it saves my precious time.'
-
"."
you watched as the undead's body exploded, 'that makes it the last one for this floor.' you looked down at the floor pooling with blood (as well as water). you cringed at the sight of the blood reaching your ankles.
"."
you watched as the blood began to turn into vapor, heating the room. "there are more humans left above and.. more of the unliving... i should hurry." you mumbled, rushing to follow the scent of life. 'the lounge?' you narrowed your brows, 'i thought i already cleared that up?
you widened your eyes when you felt yourself tilt backwards- no, it wasn't just you, but everything was tilting.
water began to pour out from the doors, and then you realized,
the ship is sinking.
"shit, someone died from above. i need to hu-"
you immediately stepped back.
you watched with wide eyes as the other half of the ship suddenly separated. "... the ship was.. split in half..?" you felt yourself stop breathing when it dawned on you that if you were just a second too late, you would have been cut in half.
"i need to go and save- ..? what the.. the freak is suddenly moving in a ridiculous speed." you cursed, "what's going on here..?"
you clicked your tongue and leaped your way to the top. 'shit, this side is gonna sink soon too.. where the fuck is that piece of shit?' you squinted your eyes as you stood at the peak. you let out a sigh when you caught sight of a human on a small boat quite far away from here.
aah, wait- the human wasn't alone, there was someone standing beside him; someone not human.
"for fuck's sake, what is he doing there." you clicked your tongue when a lot of bizarre dolls began showing up near the two of them. "aah, now they're surrounded." you sighed before snapping your fingers.
"you know,"
the first thing you saw when you teleported was a boy, younger than you, with dark blue hair and an eye patch covering his right eye. but his eye, it was a pretty shade of blue, just like the sky.
"he has pretty eyes and hair- ciel!"
'aah, so this kid is her fiance.' you shifted your piercing gaze to the tall man beside him (he looked like the kid's butler or something to you), eyeing you as well with same piercing gaze- but his had a mix of confusion, shock, and alertness.
"when you kill someone," you beckoned to the boat covered in blood, grimacing at the sight of everything around you (it was too filthy).
"you should do it with class." you gave a smile before snapping your fingers- "."
your eyes glowed, watching as all of the undead exploded, their blood and organs staining the sea with red ("aah, the color of blood reminds me of yuuto's eyes").
your eyes shifted unto the kid's. "you're ciel, right?" you asked, noticing the butler shift- he was looking at you with caution. "who are you?" he asked you with an alarmed tone ('aah, he didn't even thank me for helping him, what a rude brat- reminds me of someone').
"i remember that sly victoria having a dog with the same name as yours- are you that ciel?" you ignored his question and replied with another question. you noted how his fists clenched when you called him names ('oops, i forgot he's still a child- they have serious anger management issues').
".. what do you want in exchange for saving me?" you blinked before letting out a snort, "hey, hey, don't misunderstand, kid," you snapped your fingers as the sea's color changed back to blue, and the floating insides were missing. the two english men were startled when the boat began to sail itself. the boat moved into the direction of the rescue ship.
"i only did that because your fiancee's eyes look pretty. i don't want anything from you- i'm rich enough to buy everything i want." you said, "aah, wait, before i leave, please do relay this message to your fiancee: her eyes look like emeralds and i'd like to look at them sometime, i'll visit her someday."
before the young earl could say anything, you disappeared in thin air. ".. sebastian." the butler immediately responded, "yes, young master?"
"that woman, is she human?" sebastian paused, before replying; "she is, but at the same time, she's not. human blood runs through her veins but it's faint- it's unexplainable, young master." ciel nodded, humming. "if you wish to know who she is, then we already have a clue, young master." ciel raised a brow, as the butler donned in black only smiled;
"this, is the clue." sebastian opened his palm, and in his palm, laid a sparkling, shiny badge- a royal badge.
- bonus
"haa, haa..."
you immediately collapsed to the floor as soon as you teleported back to the dorm (it's srsly a mansion ;-;). "holy- manager?!" goujin, who was previously sweeping, jumped back.
"manager? manager is back?" mansaku turned and was surprised to see you panting on the floor. "she's back?!" a voice from upstairs was heard- it was hiroto's.
"goodness, manager, what are you doing on the floor?" kazemaru rushed to you, holding your arm and helping you get up, "can someone fetch some water?"
you sat on the couch, the fatigue and shock catching up as you shook your head, you feel so so tired. "here." you accepted the glass of water with a small 'thanks'.
"what happened, manager? and where's your luggage? and why are you drenched?" the boys bombarded you with questions as you looked at them with tired eyes, shaking your head,
"you don't wanna know."
* - family branches of the royal family needs to (if they've moved out) at least visit the palace to pay respect to the queen
* - (another) bull that resulted from me smashing the keyboard hoping a cool word would come out (1)
wow, that was very long ;-;
i hope i wasn't too detailed
in writing ciel and the others bc
they're actually not the focus of this chapter :))
tbh i was having second thoughts on doing this bc each setting is just too different, but then i like the thought of elizabeth and manager interacting, i think their personalities would fit each other and they would click
