《My safe place (Jensen X Reader)》Chapter 15

The next morning, I woke up on Jensen's chest. He was rubbing my back softly. I open my eyes and I look at him. "Good morning" I say smiling
"Good morning" he says and kisses my head "I love you so much" he says
"I love you more" I say and I kiss him.
"What time are you leaving today?" I ask
"5 pm. My flight is at 5:30" he says and I frown. "Is there a problem?" he asks
"My brother is coming from England today and my mom wants us to have dinner all together. I want to go see him because we haven't seen eachother in months but I also want to spend the day with you" I say
"It's ok. You can go see your brother. I'll probably go see my parents if you go" he says rubbing my back.
"Are you sure?" I ask
"Yes"
"Thank you, I love you" I say and I kiss him.
I take my phone from my nightstand to call my mom. But I had a notification for a post of someone on twitter that dragged my interest. It was one of those notifications that are from a random people just because of a hashtag and the title was 'Jensen in his new relationship'. I sit up straight "Oh God..." I whisper
"What?" Jensen asks and sits next to me. I tap on the notification and I get a bit relieved. There was a photo of me and Jensen kissing in the hospital from last night and another one of Jensen looking at me while we talked. But my face wasn't in any of them and no one knew who the doctor in the photo is.
"At least no one knows who I am" I say showing him the photos

"Well, I don't have a problem if you want to make it public" he says
"No. At least not yet. God... I'll have to talk to my family about us now, before they find out from someone else" I say burying my face in my hands. Boyfriend conversations are not easy in my family.
"And I'll have to tell mine about the hot and smart doctor I'm dating" he says and kisses me
"Are you?" I ask
"Of course I am" he says and kisses me again.
_____________
Jensen and I said our goodbyes and then both left for our parents homes. I knock on their door and my mom opens immediately "(Y/N), I'm so glad you could make it" she said hugging me
"Me too" I say as we pull away. "So where is Dylan?" I ask
"I'm here (Y/N/N)" I hear him say and he jumps out of the hallway. I run to him and I jump on him. "What took you so long?" I ask and he chuckles
"Sorry, I was working. But I missed you too" he says as he lets me down.
_______________
We had a really good lunch all together and we talk about everything except my issue. When I notice that the plates are almost empty, I think that it's the right time to talk about it. So when my brother was done with the story that he was telling, I clear my throat and everyone looks at me "I have to tell you something" I say and I take a deep breath
"Should we be worried?" my mom asks
"No, no. It's a good thing. I am in a serious relationship with someone for three months now. He is really nice and sweet and I love him very much" I say and I wait for the speech of being careful and use protection, like I'm a teenager.

"Are you sure that he sees it as serious as you?" Dylan asks
"Yes. He is telling his parents too right now" I say
"And are you sure he is not like Matt?" he asks forming his hand into a fist
"Yes, he is nothing like Matt. He even took care of me when Matt did that" I say pointing at my cheek even though the cut was fully healed.
"Does he love you?" my dad asks
"Yes, he does and he shows it to me every way he can" I say
"Then I can't wait to meet him" he says and hugs me
"Thank you dad" I say. His approval really means a lot to me because he never approved anyone before.
"Do you know what the real question is?" Dylan asks "Do you love him more than Dean Winchester?" he asks jokingly and my mom and dad chuckles
"I... I don't know. The answer is kinda complicated" I say
"Oh I heard today that Jensen was caught yesterday with his girlfriend" I say
"Yes, I know" I say
"Well, she is a lucky woman whoever she is" my mom says.
"Anyway, who is your lucky guy?" my mom asks me
"He is an actor. A really beautiful and amazing actor" I say
"Actor? Really? What's his name?" Dylan asks
"Jensen" I say looking down at my plate
"Ackles?" he asks jokingly
"Yes" I say and he chokes on his drink.

City of Champions Online
Having found the tragic truth that an art degree is worth less than the paper it is printed on, Jacquelyn Jones is frustrated with her dead end work as a graphic designer for a marketing firm, finding new ways to try and convince people that this week's 50 cent off sale is actually worth driving to the store. She's tried other VRMMORPGs, but they've all been fantasy-based, with a couple sci-fi games thrown in. But she wants something more, something Super. Superhero VRMMOs have had a... subpar reception in the past, in part due to the fact that the nature of most MMOs makes for fairly unheroic tales. After the couple hundredth time blasting the same group of mooks from the same faction on the same street corner of the same city, using the same powerset as everyone else because you only have a few options, it is hard to think of yourself as a hero anymore. But then she heard about City of Champions Online. For the first time, a developer partnered with a tabletop RPG maker to use their system to create a VRMMORPG, and it was one of the systems designed to be used with superhero games! And despite the name, there was no getting stuck in the same city as all the other players. The game world was a detailed replica of the real world, down to having some of the same shops and restaurants in town. She could be whoever she wanted, whatever she wanted. Now, she just has to find a way to become the heroine she's always wanted to be.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment. The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
