《After Dark》Chapter 6

On that day, if you peaked through the window of a West Side apartment, you'd find a young Japanese girl grinding on an Irish boss. While it wasn't the most glamorous situation, it was exactly what was necessary.
"Fuck!" Alice shouted. She bounced up and down his dick. The curtains that covered the poles of the bed shook with each thrust of the couple. She cupped her breasts, her teeth gritting as she pushed herself harder onto him.
"Say my name." He ordered, watching her small breasts bounce in front of him.
"Yes!" She answered back, but didn't follow his command. She always avoided saying his name, which made him feel more insecure.
"Say it. Say my name." He repeated, slapping his hand on her slender backside.
"Eugene! Fuck me, Eugene!" The girl about half his age shouted. She puckered her red lips as she continued on riding him, envisioning a brand new fur coat in the near future. Her thin, Asian hair was curled and messy from their frisky behavior.
"Yeah, that's right." He guided her hips.
The door suddenly opened, Alice's small frame was quickly swept to the wayside. "Don't you know how to knock?" Eugene shouted.
"Sorry for the interruption." Francis lowered his head. "I just came to tell you that there's someone here to see you."
"Well tell him he has to wait!" Alice shouted as she stood beside the bed, naked. Francis found it difficult to not watch her cover her body with her oriental dressing robe.
"The moment's gone, Alice. We'll pick it up from where we left off later." Eugene told his young concubine. She rolled her eyes and opened the door to the master bathroom. Eugene was unsure whether she left to freshen up or to take her latest whiff of opium.

"I'll be right down." Eugene nodded, removing his bedsheets from his naked body.
He walked through the halls of his home. It was the best on his block. The opulence of his stone house in Hell's Kitchen. He stood at the end of the hall, staring at the blonde man standing in his living room. Then he whispered to Francis.
"Who the hell is this?" He whispered.
"William McGill, he says." Whispered Francis.
"He must be the one who saved all the liquor down by the boardwalk." Eugene whispered.
"Seems as though that's him." Francis agreed. Eugene gave Francis a knowing nod, then continued forward toward William. They were at Eugene's home, but Eugene dressed to the nines as though he were going to a ball. He did this for all his guests, making each one feel as though they were the most important thing in that moment.
"Welcome to my home!" William smiled. "May I get you anything?"
"No..." William answered, then slowly changed his answer. "Well, yes. But it isn't as simple as a beverage."
"Is that so?" William asked. "I must say, you're a direct fellow, aren't you? Very strong. You must be Irish."
"I am." William confirmed.
"Us Irishmen have the most courage." Eugene nodded. "You wouldn't be able to walk in here and speak to me without it."
"I know you are the highest boss." William said. "That's exactly why I went to you."
"And what do you feel has such great importance, it would warrant you speaking to me directly?" Eugene asked.
"I risked my life for your stock. Men created a road block with the intention of looting our liquor." William explained.
"Oh yes, you're the one who saved our stock the other night. Very courageous, I must say." Eugene gave almost a politician's smile. He walked toward William while reaching into his pocket. There, he removed an extensive amount of money. "I'm sure you're paid handsomely, but here's a bit more to alleviate you of your pains."

"While this is great, I was looking for something more. Maybe a rise in rank." William said. Eugene's warm demeanor melted away. "You see, I am constantly putting my life in danger. And when I was a young boy, it was no problem. In fact, I welcomed the adventure. But now I'd like to hold a higher position."
"And what makes you think you're deserving of that?" Eugene asked.
"I've already committed enough sins, ones that can never be undone." William expressed. "I might as well hold higher esteem in this."
"So that's what you want? Prestige?" Eugene asked. "I can give you prestige. I have a few connections in the political world. If you want followers I can give them to you."
"I want clout, and I only want the kind you get in this life." William admitted to him. He was stern, and stared Eugene right into the eyes as he said so. Something in William reminded Eugene of himself, causing him to chuckle to himself.
"Alright kid, you've got it." He agreed as he held out his hand. "You want more heat? We'll give it to you."
"I'm not shaking on anything I don't already know about. What will my new position be?" William asked.
"Smart." Eugene noted, lowering his hand. "You will have your own set of soldiers. And you may choose to recruit certain men into your group. Instead of being on the ground all the time, you will look over them. Kind of how someone looks over you. And you'll overlook on how the the liquor is being brought in, whether it be from Canada or elsewhere."
"And I won't risk my life as much?" William asked.
Eugene rose his eyebrows. "Not as much."
William thought for a moment. He questioned whether or not he should continue this life, or leave it for a more quiet one. But once he looks around the room, at all of the wealth that Eugene had and gained himself, he reached his hand out. "Alright, it's a deal."
"It's a deal." Eugene smiled, shaking his hand.
"Great. Now can you get back to bed?" Alice stood there, still in her robe. Her arms were crossed, and her almond eyes stared at Eugene with annoyance. She wanted to get it over with.
"Coming dear." Eugene told her. "My lady awaits." Eugene laughed with William.
"Thank you for this." William smiled.
"No problem. You deserve it." Eugene patted him on the soldier. "Now, I've got a woman to tend to."
