Mason POV the next day after school.

"MASON!" I hear my dad yell as i sit in the dinner enjoying a bowl of Lucky Charms. I slowly turn around and see my dad coming at me with race car speed.

"Yes dad?" I asks. what the hell did i do?

"Element office now!" He says sternly and i follow him to the office floor.

He pushes me into a seat. The seat spins in a circle before he stops it with his hand. I see my mom in the corner with Connor, Zayn, Dwaine, and my brother and sister. My moms stands with a sympathetic look on her face.

"What seems to be the problem father." I fold my hands and stare at them.

"Why did you ask a female human to homecoming?" He asks angerly.

"Who told you?" I ask almost standing up in my seat.

"Your sister. But Mason you are not aloud to go to any formal occasion . You know this. If they find out then they'll do experiments on us." He asks starting pace the room.

"You act like everybody is a hunter. Because you know, some of them aren't that bad." I plead.

"Mason. Humans can not be trusted. They cant keep their mouths shut. They have no respect for others." My dad explains.

"What don't you get. This isn't the 90's. People are better then they were." I try to tell him.

"No Mason. Huma-"

"OH MY GOD STOP USING THAT WORD! WE ARE AS MUCH HUMAN AS THEY ARE. WE JUST HAVE A MINOR DEFECT. AND MY DATE IS NOT JUST SOME GIRL. Even if she did find out she wouldn't tell." I mumble the last part. My dad stays quiet for a minute before he talks again.

"Why wouldn't she tell?" he asks bringing his fingers up to his mouth. I stand up and walk towards the door. I open the double doors and turn my head towards him.

"Because, she's my mate." And with that I walk back down the stairs and go straight out side. I walk straight to the lake and sit down on its edge. I take my shoes off and stick my legs in. I lean back onto my back and lay down. I bring my hands up to my face and and wipe my eyes.

"Ugh. what am i going to do?" I complain to no one in particular.

"Well you could tell her." Some one says behind me. I turn around and see my sister.

"Avery, You don't even understand." I sit up.

"Just because I'm younger doesn't mean I don't understand love." she says

"Your only 15, how could you possibly know what love is."

"I know it's that they are the only thing in the word that matters. That you'd do any thing for them even if it means losing them." she tells me and sits next to me,"And FYI I turn 16 next month so." She flicks her hand forward and we both chuckle.

"How did you get so smart. It seems like just yesterday you ran through the pack house butt naked. " I smirk and wrap my arm around her. shoulders.

"You remember that." She asks embarrassed. I laugh some more.

"Yeah, everyone does." I tell her and she smacks herself in the face.

"Never gonna live that down." She grumbles.

"So, do you wanna go on a run?" I suggest and she nods her head. She says yes and we disappear behind a tree to shift.

I come back out fully furred and ready to run. She comes back out with a lighter coat then me. Its like a brown color but looks a little red. I look in the pond and see my reflection. Its a gray color with a black spot on my eye, the tip of my ear, my front right paw, and the tip of my tail. I'm told all the time that i look like my mothers wolf before she became an element.

I look back at my sister and walk over to face her. I give her a wolfish grin and get into a fighting stance. I growl playfully. She copies me and growls back but barks at the end. She has a wolfy smirk over her mouth. She takes off into the woods and I chase after her. Guess we're playing a game of cat and mouse. She takes me up and down hills, around trees, and over rocks that basically look like boulders. Finally she leads me to this cave.She stands on the top while i stand at the bottom looking up at her.

She smiles down at me declaring victory knowing i would't go up there. I'm not scared of heights i just don't exactly trust my paws when it comes to high places. Long story short, I was 12 and stupid and i was messing around with my friends in wolf form. I stood on top of the very rock my sister is on now and i slipped. I broke My font right and back left paw. Which is a broken arm and leg. So yeah my paws aren't exactly trust worthy.

After a while of her taunting me i start to smell a terrible smell. I can tell she smalls it too. She looks at me with a concerned on her face.

'Rouges' I tell her

'What do we do?' she asks. She would be scared. She's never encountered a rouge shes never been old enough.

'Go to the pack house and tell mom, I'll handle it for now." I tell her and we separate.

I follow the smell and stop about a foot ball field away. I let out a warning growl. I start to charge the rouges. I can tell their's just barely than one maybe about 5. I meet them half way. they sit in a circle in human form.

One of them gets up slowly and comes closer to me. he puts his hand out in front of him. I let out a bark and start to growl.

"We don't want to hurt you. But now I see that your an alpha and you'd be the one hurting us." He nervously laughs. My growls get lower.

"Please, we want to join your pack. I now that you take rouges in." Some girl says getting up and putting and arm around the boy.

I Run behind a tree and quickly shift. Shorts appearing around my waist. I thank the moon goddess and run back out to the circle of rouges.

"Please once again state why you are here." I command.

"We want to join your pack." The same guy says.

"We heard that your pack takes in rouges who want to start over." The same girl continues.

"Yes that was true 19 years ago. Now you have to go through a strict training process and if you make a month you get to stay." I tell them acting serious. I can tell they're stunned, a few have their mouths form o's.

"R-really?" The guy stutters.

"Nah, I'm just messing with you." I say and they all let out a sigh of relief,"But you do have to go through a test that takes bout a week.

i hear leaves and twigs crunching as my mom and the other elements stop behind me.

"Mason whats going on here." My mom says panting.

"They want to join the pack." I tell her and she walks to stand next to me to ask the 'sacred 3 questions'

"What are your names?" She says sturnly using her alpha of america command.

"I'm David this is my mate Tara. These two are my daughters, she's Wren and she's Astrid. And this is our Oldest Nico." He says pointing to his daughters who seem to be around the age of 13 and 16. And the son seems to be about 18.

"How old is everyone?" I ask.

"Wren is 12 Astrid is 16 and Nico just turned 18 last month."Tara explains. Maybe Nico could be in the group.

"Okay well follow me I'll show you to the pack house. My mom says and we turn around to walk to the pack house.

I hurry a head to grab my clothes. I take off the shorts and pull on my boxers and then pull them back on. Commando is a no no. I pull my shirt over my messy hair and swipe away all the dirt. I come out just in time to see they've taken lead.

"Well I guess that 's it, You guys are qualified to be in the pack. So i welcome you to the New Moon pack. Nico and Astrid, their just happens to be two more non reserved rooms on The 15-18 year old floor. So My son Mason can show you those. And Wren you get the last room on the 11-14 year old floor. I'll have my son come and show you where that is. And um as of clothes Your family will be given $3,000 for clothes and a car. And um... if you go to the game room their is a closet and that should have a stack of extra phones and computers that were donated from the apple store." My mom explains to them. The only reason we have so much is because when people work 15% of their Pay check is put into the pack Money savings. And this is fair because we have to pay the bills for every one, and we also have to supply food for every one. The apple store only donated the electronics because the owner of the store is one of my moms friends. I think her name is Avengeline. But I've met her at least 3 times . So yeah Having a pack house is expensive.

"Oh and I forgot mason your gonna have to open the closet door for them." My mom says.

"Alright i guess follow me." I say and lead them to the game room. I put my thumb on the scanner and the door unlocks. I grab 5 phones and hand them to Luke, Tara, Astrid, Wren, and Nico. They thank me.

"Any laptop color preferences?" I ask and they all shake their heads except for NIco.

"Do you have one in black?" He ask and i nod and grab the box that has the black apple on it and hand it to him. I grab 3 more and hand them to Luke, Tara, and Astrid.

"Why don't i get one?" Wren asks.

"You have to be 13 to have a computer. Sorry." I tell her and she shrugs it off. I take them to the stairs to wait for my siblings.

Soon my brother and sister are here. Avery Takes the adults, Ethan takes wren to his floor, and i lead Astrid and Nico to the 4th floor.

"Okay well looks like the last two rooms that don't say reserved on them is the one next to my room and the one across from it. Okay so Nico your on my side and and Astrid your on the other I say.

I open the door next to mine and Nico steps in. I open the door on the other side of the hall for Astrid and she thanks me.

i mind link the gang to see if they want to get something to eat and they all agree. I see 4 doors open and they all walk my way.

"Dude, I'm starving lets go." Issac says with a hand on his stomach.

"You guys go ahead I'm just going to do one thing." I tell the and they all rush down the stairs.

I tun around and knock on Nico's door. a few seconds later he answers the door.

"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to get something to eat with me and my friends? I ask and scrath the back of my head.

"Uh sure." He says and and closes the door behind him. He follows me down to the diner where my friends all sit around a table.

"Guys this is Nico he's new in the pack so lets be nice to him." I tell all of them and we take a seat.

"Hello Nico welcome to the pack. I'm Issac this is Parker, Payton and we have another friend named Cameron but shes in the bathroom." Issac tell him and he nods.

"Why don't you tel us a little about yourself?" Payton suggest

"Okay well um... My full name is Nico James Wolf. Which is pretty coincidental considering the whole wolf thing. Um... my favorite color is orange. I like to listen to music and I can play guitar." He tells us.

"Hey, Mason can play guitar." Parker says

"I haven't played in like 2 years so.." i tell him. Payton rolls her eyes and smiles,

"Did you have any friends at your old pack." Payton asks

"No. And I don't know if i ever will, people think I'm weird." He says looking at his hands.

"No." I tell him

"What?"

"Just look around you, because we're your friends." I tell him and he smiles

Just then Cameron comes in.

"Have you ever noticed that the soap in the bathroom smells like lem-" I look at she stops mid sentence as she catches sight of Nico. I look him and his eyes are wide open.

"Damn I'm the only matless one now." Issac scowls and i laugh at him I get up from my seat and move to Cameron's so she can sit next to him.

The waitress comes and takes everyone's order.

I guess my dad screaming at me after school really wasn't a bad thing. I found one of my best friends mate and a new friend.

All's well, that ends well i guess.
