《The Kings Heir》Maybe its just a nightmare

Tossing and turning throughout the night gave me an unbearable pain in my back. I groan in my sleep and sit up. The room feels dizzy and I see little stars all around me. The pain spreads down my back to my legs and feels like fire down my feet. I want to stretch but everything feels like I'm being squeezed tightly, and it's becoming hard to breath. The window breaks besides my bed and the rain and wind blow in. His figure steps through the window and stands there watching me, his eyes red his fangs whiter than the stars. I cover my body shielding myself from the wind and glass blowing around.
"How did you get in here?" I yell. He just keeps looking at me with his intense eyes and step closer not saying a word, his hair wet and damp against his face. I watch his hand holding something sharp. My eyes bulge and I step out of bed hitting the wall soon after.
"Stop!" I shout but he keeps coming, the window blows my hair around my face, my feet pinching from the glass.
"I'm not ready to give you up." He mumbles into my ear. I pull his head back and look into his eyes.
"Demitri no!" I shout feeling the blade stab my stomach, stabbing my baby, our baby. I gasp for a breath and shot out of bed. It was just a dream. I move my hair off my face feeling the sweat all around my and on my bed. Helena barges in with a worried look.
"I heard you screaming." She says her eyes showing a zap of purple. I take a deep breath.
"I-" I groan and hold my stomach tightly, pain scorched my entire body. I look up at Helena and try to get words out.

"This. Isn't. Sweat I'm sitting in. Is it?" I grit out closing my eyes again and laying back. I try to breath but everything right now is too much. Helena throws the blankets off of me and feels between my legs onto the bed.
"Amniotic fluid. Jamie the baby is coming."
"No no! It's too early! He can't come! I'm only at eight months!" I panic. She takes my pants off and leaves me in my underwear. She helps me out of my tank top and into a lose t-shirt. Helena walks out of the room and I'm left alone.
"Where are you going?!" I frantically shout. I feel another contraction and roll to my side cupping my stomach in pain. Eventually after the contraction she comes back in, with a rag and hot water in a bowl. She dips the rag in the water squeezes the rag and places it on my stomach.
"This is a home remedy I used when I was in labor, it helps. I'll be right back I need to prepare." She says. I grab her wrist and she turns to look at me.
"Get Demitri please! I don't wanna do this alone." I cry hysterically, She nods her head and moves my hair out of my face. She walks out of the room and leaves me to my self. I take deep breaths and keep replacing the rag. I feel another contraction roll around and take deep breaths and place my hands above the rag and feel the pain slightly be smoother. She comes back in with a towel and places it under me and brings me water.
"The barrier is down. Lincoln is notifying him." She says soothing me.
"Can I take something, anything?" She nods her head.

"But this is during labor, not for right now, for now it's all you, you can do this Jamie." She assures me. A loud bang comes from the front door and heavy footsteps follow suit in our direction. I look up into his eyes, joy and worry. He rushes up to me and holds my hand on the side of the bed. Lincoln and Parker stare at me with sad eyes. They are thinking the same thing, it's the last day they will have with me. Demitri takes of his suit jacket, unbuttons the first two buttons on his shirt and roll his sleeves up. He caresses my face and kisses my hand.
"She should be at the castle, it's much cleaner and this wouldn't have even happened if she stayed were she should have for the last eight months." He says looking angry at Helena.
"My home is clean Demitri, and it's nothing you can do now, the baby's coming, and quick too." She says feeling how dilated I am, she takes off the glove and throw it out. Another contraction hits my body but this time extremely hard. I gasp in pain and curl into a ball and feel the tears run down my face. Demitri holds my hands and frantically asks what's wrong.
"She's having a contraction, it's normal." Helena justifies.
"When do they end?"
"When she gives birth." Helena says. The contraction finally stops and I take a deep breath feeling light headed.
"I was so worried when Lincoln told me you were in labor. You're only eight months, isn't this bad for the baby?" His question is towards Helena.
"Possibly. But because your a vampire and she's human it could very well mean she's ready and the baby is too."
"But I came at a normal time, why is he coming so soon."
"Your baby is different from the rest of your family, when the baby's born you will see." Helena says, she already knows what's to come, she's seen the future. She's confident she's right. Demitri looks at me with sad eyes and caresses me face.
"I'm sorry I drove you away." He says sitting besides me.
"It's fine."
"It's my fault you're here. I promise you I will make things right for you, for us." He says and kisses my forehead. He stands up and gestures to Helena to follow. Parker and Lincoln step inside to watch me and soon there questions begin.

Here we find Shawn Blake, who lives a quiet life near a dungeon on the Isle of Fallen Snow. Very few people ever visit the Isle of Fallen Snow because there is only one dungeon that has a connection to the island in all of the endless Skies of Aurora. Thanks to that, Shawn has been able to live peacefully on the island with nothing but his training to worry about, despite being a hybrid of more than one of the five ruling races. However, unfortunately for Shawn, his peaceful life is about to come to an end as some visitors make their way to the Isle of Fallen Snow for reasons unknown. The world of Aurora is a world of endless skies full of floating islands separated by open air with the void far below them, and the only way to get from one island to another is through portals that are located at the end of each dungeon. These portals are connected to the central portal on another island. This book is a litrpg, fantasy, and sky world all in one. I hope you enjoy my book, and I welcome any and all suggestions.
