(A/N: I swear if I see Aiden one more time I'm gonna make a whole other fanfic just for him. He is so fucking hot, you don't understand.)
"I have no clue why you are searching through your closet for a wedding dress when you haven't even been married yet." I said to Hayley as she goes through her closet.
"I don't suppose you have a dress I can wear since you've been alived for a thousand years?" Hayley asks me and she continues her search.
"I do and it's laying right in front of me. I wore this on my first wedding. I compelled a priest to force a King to marry me." I said making Hayley look over her shoulder at me.
"Why?" She asked.
"I wanted to experience what being a queen is like. And I did. Many times. Since there wasn't newspaper that can copy my face I would just fake my death and move on to another country. And who the bloody hell do you think convinced the 13 colonies to fight against the British? That was all me." I said going back down memory lane.
"You started the revolutionary war?" Hayley asked.
"I have indeed started that war. You'll be amaze by how agreeing the men were when they set their eyes on a beautiful woman." I said.
Just then Rebekah comes in. "All right. Bad news first. I will have to miss you nuptials. Kol has a bit of a life and death matter he needs help dealing with." She explained and my smile fell off my face.
"Anything I can do, Rebekah?" Hayley asked her.
"It's witch business, which now seems to be my thing. Besides, you have enough to deal with. On that note," Rebekah pulls out a wedding gown from behind the door and showed it off the Hayley. "Now, it's white, which won't fool anyone, but you can't get married in skinny jeans and combat boots." Rebekah said and handed the dress to her.
"That's what I said." I exclaimed and got off the bed to check out the dress. "This looks like the dress I wore to my fifth wedding." I said as I look it over. Yep I have worn this before.
"You wore my wedding dress?" Rebekah asked me.
I nod my head. "Yep. Wore it to my fifth wedding getting crowned as the queen of France." I said.
"Welp, you are the only person that wore my dresses down the aisle.
"It's not too late. From what I understand, Marcel is still single. Have you told him yet that you're you?" Hayley asked.

"I thought I'd hold off on that for the moment. It only complicates matters and I'm not exactly sure how long this is going to last." Rebekah said as she gestures to her new body.
"Right." Hayley said breathing out a laugh.
Rebekah walks closer. "Hayley, I wanted to say. Now, you may be marrying Jackson Kenner of the boozy backwater Kenners, but you're still one of us. A Mikaelson. Always will be." Rebekah said.
"That would be such a nice compliment if it didn't link me to so many homicidal lunatics." Hayley said making Rebekah smile then she left the room.
~(yeah I ain't typing this wedding down. Gonna pretend it's like every other wedding.)~
The wedding soon starts and me and Nik were up in the balcony watching everything unfold. Hayley and Jackson walk up both stairs separately before meeting in the middle where an elder stands.
She tells the audience to sit then she starts the ceremony.
"What a beautiful wedding." Nik said lowly yo me so we don't interrupt. "It was nothing like ours."
I look up at him like he was crazy. "We are not married. Are you trying to hint something to me?" I asked him.
Nik smiles down at me. "Of course not, love. If I got something to say I would have told you already." He said and looked back down at the ceremony.
I continue to look up at him confused before I brush it off and continue to watch Hayley get married. It sucks though. She is not even allowed a Bridesmaid and let me tell you I was the best bridesmaid ever. Hopefully I can convince her to have a bachelorette party.
I hear someone come stand next to me and I see Elijah stand next to me as he too watch Hayley's wedding. Now I feel bad for even supporting this thing, but this is Hayley's decision and I got to respect that.
~~~
I was out partying in the streets to celebrate Hayley's marriage when I get pulled into an alleyway. I quickly speed the person to a nearby wall and held him up by his neck. "Easy there, darling. My body is still fragile." He say.
I realize that the person I'm holding is Kol. "Why the bloody hell would you do that?" I asked him as I let him go and he lands on his two feet's.
"Because I needed to talk to you. It's time. I must die tonight." Kol said.
I stare at him sadly then I nod my head. "Okay. But we will need an audience." I said. "Go stand out in the open while I make you sick." I told him and he went to do just that.
"Kol. What's wrong?" I hear Davina ask him as I hide in the shadows and keep up Kol's sickly appearance.
"Aren't you a sight?" Kol asked as the effects of my spell take a toll of him.
"You're ice cold." Davina said.
"You listen to me, okay? Finn, he got a bit perturbed when we went to rescue Josh. And, Uh... and I thought I was going to be okay but I'm running out of time." Kol said.
I peaked around the corner to see Davina's eyes getting glossy as she reacts to the news of Kol dying.
~~~
"Transubstatiation. We can combine this with a protection spell." Davina said as she and Rebekah look at pages of spells that would save Kol. She ended up calling me for help with the spell when she finds it but I'm only here so I can mess it up.
"Finn's spell blocks that. The body Kol's in is bloody dying. We need to jump him into a new one." Rebekah said.
"We can't pick up another body at the farmer's market. We don't even have a spell for that." Davina said.
"Well, we need to put him somewhere otherwise he will die with the body and all of this will be for nothing.
"Beks, can you and Phoenix give me a minute alone with Davina?" He asked us and we soon left so he can spend time with her.
Once out the room I turn to Rebekah. "There is no saving him Rebekah. He will die by tonight and he deserves to be surrounded by his family. Go tell your brothers." I told her and she quickly hurries to the Compound.
~~~
The whole family was here and Kol was laid on the ground with bloody teeth as he groans out in pain. Davina was by herself chanting quietly as she tries one last time to break Kol's curse.
Kol lays back as I stop his pain and Elijah lifts his upper body up slightly. "All my life... all I ever wanted... was you lot... to care about me." Kol said taking a breath through his sentence.
Even though he knows he will be alright, Nik let's a tear fall down his face. Mine fell as well as I make him cough harshly again. Elijah moves out the way so Rebekah can sit behind Kol as he coughs violently.
I stop and Kol rest against his sisters lap. "Kol. Listen to me. You don't have long. You're going to die. But you'll die a witch and we will consecrate your body. You will join the ancestors of the French Quarter and those spirits can be brought back. And I promise you, brother I will not leave this body until I find a way to bring you home." Rebekah said.
"And I will help her with every power I have." I said making him look at me.
"Thank you for sticking by my side." Kol rasped out.
Davina soon stops chanting and crawls over to Kol. "I tried a different spell."
"It's okay. I'm not scared." Kol said with a smile on his face.
This man is a really good actor and a liar. This got me in tears if I didn't know the truth of what is happening. I mouth a spell and Kol peacefully and temporarily dies with his eyes still staring at Davina.
~~~
Once everyone had left and is definitely gone except for me and Nik, I mouth the spell and Kol gasp back to life but this time in his own ancient body. "You could have dim it down on the sickness could yah? I don't like the taste of me own blood in my mouth." Kol said making me and Nik smile.
"Good to have you back brother." Nik said and pull him into a hug.
"Good to be back, and in my own body of course. You didn't tell me that." Kol said looking at me for the last sentence.
"Your welcome." I said and he brought me in the group hug. "But it is now time for you to disappear. No one can know that you are alive and I made extra precautions to make sure you will never be found."
"Thank you." Kol said looking at me appreciatively.
"Your family. I'll will do this again in a heartbeat." I said with a smile. "We will call you to let you know when it is safe to return and with my bet I would say not any time soon."
"I'll be traveling the world then. Finally see what has changed since my freedom." Kol said.
"We will be here when you return. The place we call home." Nik said and with that Kol sped away.
