《Home | The Originals》Chapter 78: Know your Place

Ever since Cami turned into a vampire she has been nothing but a bitch. Or at least that is what Nik has told me after trying to help her. So much for hating vampires and stuff. Nik ended up taking all of her family's dark objects which are really mine that was taken from me 700 years ago. In retaliation Cami took a toy horse which we need back since it was made out of white oak, surprisingly.

Cami contacted Nik giving him a deal. He has to return her dark objects and she will give him the horse back. Nik was about to accept it when I stop him.

I am not about to lose these dark objects to some baby vampire who now all of a sudden knows everything about being a vampire. I regret letting Nik stay in those therapy sessions. And where in the bloody hell did Cami get her balls from? She shouldn't even have a part in this supernatural drama in the first place. She has no place in the prophecy so she should just worry about not killing every tourist she sees.

I enter the cemetery and turn to my left seeing Vincent leaning against a tomb. "Hello, Vincent." I greeted as I walk towards him with a briefcase in my hand. "Should have know Camille would seek powerful fools to aid in this rather futile gambit. Don't have a clue to why you are helping her since I'm Regent and I have them now, but I shall ignore that kind of info." I said and I stop when I hit a force field.

"Uh oh." Vincent whispered as he gets up from the Tomb. "I was hoping from a simple trade but seeing as how everything Klaus took can't possibly fit in that briefcase so I'm gonna go ahead and assume that simply ain't exactly your style, huh?" He said.

"If you want I can show you exactly what my style is." I said with a smirk on my face.

"Seriously?" I see Cami come out from behind Vincent. "I have an ancient, mystical weapon of doom, and instead of agreeing to my very fair trade, you're making threats? And I asked Klaus to be here, not you."

"You finally decided to come out. Traitor to my family. Thief of that which that belongs to us." I said as I stare her down.

"Don't be dramatic. I wanted Klaus attention but ended up getting yours." Cami said with a expressionless face.

"A rather nice tactic." I said. I set the briefcase down in front of her.

"What, that's, like, a third of them? So would you like a third of the white oak?" Cami said as she holds up the horse.

"Last chance Cami. Take it or leave it." I said with a blank face.

"No."

I smirked evilly at her. "The hard way it is." I said and then I waved my hand making the circle of salt disappear. Cami tried to speed away but I got in front of her and grabbed her by her neck. "I have no idea what your problem is or why you even have the white oak in the first place but I would suggest to not get me angry. You may know just about everything on how to be a vampire, but one thing I know for sure is that you don't know how to fight and those dark objects won't save you from the element of surprise. So taking the white oak will put a target on your back and since you are Nik's friend, I'm not allowed to kill you for your actions. Don't have me remind you of your place again." I said taking the white oak out of her hands then I threw her into a random gravestone making it break in the process. "Oh and uh," I opened the briefcase to reveal that it was actually empty inside, "I still have your dark objects, well they're honestly my dark objects since your family took them from me 700 years ago. Bye Camille." I said then left the cemetery.
