(A/N: yeah I skipped episode episode 7. Wasn't feeling it. Ignore the hair.)
Me and Nik walked into the room to see Hayley and the rest of our kids, just standing around the table that had the ancient bone protected by a boundary spell so no one will take it. Hayley was crouched to Hope's level with a look of worry on her face. "What's going on?" He asked.
Hayley ignored him and focused back on Hope. "Look at me. Tell me what you heard." She asked.
"Voices. They said that we're connected to this. You and me." Hope said.
"If this fossil has been whispering lies, I'll gladly throw it in the river." Klaus stated.
"It's not the bone." Hunter said.
"It's the witches. The ancestors." Angel says and she never took her eyes off the bone. "They have a message for us. A warning."
"Can you tell us what they said?" I asked them.
"They want you to go to St. Anne's Church to talk to them. They said you have to do exactly what they say, and you have to do it now." Hope said looking directly at Hayley.
"Before the Hollow comes for us." Dove said.
~~~
We walked towards the church and I finally look over to Hayley and looked her up and down. "Nice outfit. Wonder where you got the idea from." I mocked with a hint of a smirk on my face.
Hayley looks at me and lets out a playful scoff. "Jealous because I can rock this outfit better than you."
I squish my face together. "Mmm, no, not really. I actually look better. If you thinking that you look good helps you sleep at night then continue thinking that." I said.
She rolls her eyes before looking at Klaus who was a few steps ahead of us. "You are a bad influence on Nix, Klaus. She use to be so nice before you two got together." She says.
Nik lets a deep laugh escape his mouth. "Well I can say she is a good influence on me. My body count has dropped tremendously these past few years since I started to court her." He then pushes open the door to the church.
"It's quiet." Hayley says as we look around the eerily silent church.
"Of course it's quiet. It's a trap." Nik said.
"We don't know that." Hayley rebuttals.
"New Orleans witches have hated my family for three centuries. Of course it's a trap." He says.
"Covens only protect their own. Your family must have killed someone in their coven in order for them to hate you so badly." I said.
"And besides, Hope's one of them now. She's part of their legacy." Hayley said. Eh, Hope could be a Mew Orleans witch but she's a Mikaelson, she will put her family first above anyone else.
"Hope and the rest my of my kids are a far cry from a French Quarter fortune-teller. And while we're on the subject, she's seven. Angel is soon turning eight. If anyone wants to talk to my kids, they should ask my permission." Nik said.
"You're gonna be a very interesting when Angel, Hope, and Dove starts to date boys." I said.
Nik smirked at me before walking towards us with his hands behind his back. "I'm gonna be a perfect gentleman. And should any of their suitors fail to meet my expectations, I'll compel them to the priesthood."
I smirk back at him. "And people always wondered why us mom's are the cooler parent." I said making him stare deeply at me. He pecked my lip before turning around because we heard four sets of step wall out in front of us.
"Oh, look, Harvest Girls." We walked closer to the end of the aisle. "I assume you speak on behalf of your Ancestors." Nik stated.
"Provided that you've come in peace." Girl 3 said.
"Well, that depends on you, doesn't it?" He says.
"We don't want a fight. We're here to offer a deal." She said.
Girl number 2 who was next to Girl 3 walked down the steps and came a bit closer to us. "Although your brother did murder all four of us, so let's not pretend we're friends." She says. Yeah, Elijah forced Vincent to sorta bring back the Ancestors. I don't like how he killed four innocent teenagers but right now I can't really go back and change his actions, just got to move on and focus on the bigger problem.
"Please consider all pretense of friendship dropped." Klaus walked closer to the girl so they were in arm distance. "Where are the Ancestors?"
~~~
We have been waiting for an hour for whatever it is to get done. We sat on the stairs as we patiently waited. "We need you blood." Girl 3 said as she heads out a small bowl.
"That's funny, I didn't hear you say 'please.'" Nik says.
"Where are your manners?" I mocked.
"If you want answers, we have to guide you to the Ancestors. But since you and Hayley aren't witches..."
Hayley walked up to her and grabbed the bowl making her cut her sentence off. "We need to bend the rules. How?" She asked the girls.
"Simple loophole. You're both bound by blood to a New Orleans witch and Phoenix is already an New Orleans witch. We can use the link to your child to cast a spell and link you to an audience with the dead." Girl 3 said.
Hayley bites into her wrist and pours her blood into the bowl and giving it to Klaus so he can do the same. Once he was done, he walks towards the harvest girl. "Why do I get the feeling there's something you're not mentioning?" He asked.
She ignored his question and snatched the bowl out of his hands. "Just one thing—" she steps back in line with the other three girls.
"This is gonna hurt." Girl 2 said.
They raised their hands up and chanted. My head started to hurt before everything turned black and I fell to the ground.
