padmé's pov -
"Bail." I storm into his room, "You let Vader stay here?!" I was furious.
"I had no choice, I couldn't turn him down without looking suspicious." Bail defends himself, getting up and off the bed.
"Being around him is intoxicating, you should know this!" I shout, furious at him.
"Padmé, calm down pleas-"
"No. You know how hard it is to hate and love someone at the same time?" I pace back and forward, "I can't stay here. I need to flee." I bite my lip.
"I don't recommend it, where will you go?" Bail questions me..
"Coruscant, my apartment is still there if I am correct." I think of the place I always thought of as home.
"Padmé, that got locked up." Bail furrows his eyebrows.
Suddenly a loud explosion erupts from outside.
We both rush to the window and notice that troopers and what I assume to be rebels fighting.
"Breha!" Bail shouts as he runs out of the room..
I run out after him and I am met with a tall, dark, towering body instead.
"I'm so sorry." I whisper, hiding my face..
"Padmé! We must go now.." Ahsoka pants, "Oops.."
I look up and meet the mask of Darth Vader..
"Padmé, I recommend you run." Ahsoka ignites her lightsabers, but I just stood in shock..
"I'll be on my way.." I quickly started to move, I began to run and see that Ahsoka has stayed behind.. Vader was just standing.. probably shocked too.
I ran into Luke and Leia's room and quickly grabbed their hands..
"Where we going?" Luke asks, his blue eyes twinkling due to the lights above..
"I don't wanna leave!" Leia growls in annoyance, "I wanna stay!!"

"No time, Leia." I pick her up and Luke was holding my hand tightly..
I got Obi-Wan and we headed for the exit of the building..
anakin's pov -
I couldn't believe my eyes, I just saw Padmé and Ahsoka at once. Padmé was alive all these years and with Ahsoka? Maybe that's who Obi-Wan was hiding..
"Vader.." Ahsoka growls at me, "What's your business here?"
"I could ask you the same, Tano." I simply stand in place, not igniting a lightsaber as she has done.
"I move around." Ahsoka shrugs, "After I left the Jedi, I've been all over the galaxy. From Tatooine to Endor." Ahsoka explains, her eyebrows furrowed..
"I see." I nod, "Well, if you'll excuse me. I must attend to the things happening outside." I try get around the petite young woman.
"Not so fast." Ahsoka moves one of her lightsabers up to my helmet..
"Killing me is not the Jedi way." I explain softly.
"I am no Jedi." She defends herself, "I'm simply a girl with two blades." She comments.
"Ahsoka, can you please excuse me." I take her sabers by using the force and chuck them onto the floor.
"I need to ask questions that need answers."
I quickly stomp off leaving the young woman looking back in utter confusion.
ahsoka's pov -
He didn't even ignite his lightsaber. Bail told me no matter what, he always ignites it. But that was before he killed The Emperor.. Maybe he's went soft..
I quickly shake it off and use the force to get my lightsabers. I quickly begin running the the exit of the building..
Oh, dear. They know about the rebels.. I tell myself..
I look around quickly, I set eyes on the Nubian Freighter I assume everyone is on.. I quickly run towards it and aboard it.

"Quickly get out of here."
"What about Bail?" Padmé looks at the ground, which were mainly dead troopers and dead rebels..
"He's inside with Breha." I shrug..
"Ahsoka. Breha was outisde.." Padmé breathes heavily, "Bail went out as soon as he saw everything."
"Padmé, I hate to break it to you. But Vader is coming this way.." Obi-Wan points out..
"Take the ship, I'll stay here."
"No." Ahsoka shakes her head, "Absolutely not."
"He won't harm me. He wants me most likely." I explain, "I could try and get him back to the light side." I say standing up..
"But what about Luke and Leia?" Obi-Wan questions me, "They'll want to be with you, more than anyone else." Obi-Wan explains looking back at the children playing..
"They'll be under the best parental vision, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano. They'll live." I say looking down at them..
"I don't like this one bit." Ahsoka takes a seat..
I walk over to the children..
"I'll be back soon, and if not. Mummy always loves you. Okay?" I kiss both of them on their heads each.. they both nod, "Goodbye for now." I wave off my friends and exit the ship.
I watch troopers put their guns up at me, as I officially exit the ship..
The door closes behind me and begins to hover..
They shoot at it but it was too late as it was already gone.
"Hands where I can see them." A trooper shouts at me, I don't listen, I'll do anything but listen.
I look around slowly at the sight of all the dead people..
But my heart stopped at the sight of Bail and Breha
They'd killed them..
"You're monsters.." I shake my head, I pull a gun out from my boot and begin to blast at the troopers..
"Don't harm her." Vader walks up to me slowly, "Padmé Amidala."
The troopers look around confused, which is reasonable. Everyone thinks I'm dead, and they used to work with me also.
"What a pleasant surprise seeing you." I could sense his smirk, "It's so odd of you to join us."
"What is it that you want?" I narrow my eyes at the black mask, I was trying to look for those blue eyes but there was simply nothing but black space.
"Come to Coruscant with me." He says, "We have things to discuss."

City of Champions Online
Having found the tragic truth that an art degree is worth less than the paper it is printed on, Jacquelyn Jones is frustrated with her dead end work as a graphic designer for a marketing firm, finding new ways to try and convince people that this week's 50 cent off sale is actually worth driving to the store. She's tried other VRMMORPGs, but they've all been fantasy-based, with a couple sci-fi games thrown in. But she wants something more, something Super. Superhero VRMMOs have had a... subpar reception in the past, in part due to the fact that the nature of most MMOs makes for fairly unheroic tales. After the couple hundredth time blasting the same group of mooks from the same faction on the same street corner of the same city, using the same powerset as everyone else because you only have a few options, it is hard to think of yourself as a hero anymore. But then she heard about City of Champions Online. For the first time, a developer partnered with a tabletop RPG maker to use their system to create a VRMMORPG, and it was one of the systems designed to be used with superhero games! And despite the name, there was no getting stuck in the same city as all the other players. The game world was a detailed replica of the real world, down to having some of the same shops and restaurants in town. She could be whoever she wanted, whatever she wanted. Now, she just has to find a way to become the heroine she's always wanted to be.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment. The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
