You woke up with a jolt and a slight cold sweat from the nightmare that went down in your mind. You looked at your clock seeing it was 11:37, wow you really slept in... you turn your head to see a figure on your chair. You gasped and facepalmed realizing that your nightmare was actually real...
you get up from your bed and quietly walked up to him. You wondered if he was sleeping since you couldn't really tell due to the mask. His breathing was really calm and slow, you tilt your head. You then bring up your hand to lift up his mask, your breathing was soft but anxious. Suddenly Michael grabbed your wounded arm harshly making you yelp, he instantly let go and adjusted back his mask. He looks at you, you smile nervously... he shook his head and put his hand onto your forehead, he then pushes you back making you giggle. He gets up and looks around wondering what time it was.
"Were you the one who helped my wound?" you question him which made him turn his head to you, he nodded slowly and looked around for the notebook for he doesn't have to keep nodding or shaking his head.
"Oh right-" you get up and go to your bed to find the journal he last wrote in, you gave him the pen and the journal quickly but in a nervous way.
Your eyes widen, you smiled brightly making him get caught off guard by your innocent grin. You then jump on him making him grunt in shock. Your arms wrap around his waist to give him a good friendly hug. He was taken back by your action, he never liked getting hugged or touched but you made him feel... comfortable...he then puts a finger on your forehead pushing you away from him.
"S-sorry I forgot-" you giggle, you look through the curtain seeing some cops patrolling around the area making your stomach drop.
"There are cops all around the neighborhood-.. what if you get caught, Michael? if you do- I'm not going to be able to see you anymore due to the safety policy" you said in a concerned tone, he slightly shrugs, he then starts writing in the journal making you look directly at him.
Your jaw dropped and you began to panic, you knew this was the worse place for him to stay at and you never even had a roommate before. He started to write again but a bit more quickly this time.
"No no- that's a horrible idea, Michael!" you shook your head as he nods his head trying to convince you.
He showed you the journal, you facepalmed and glared at him. You sigh in defeat and nodded feeling worried about all the things that can happen if he got caught somehow. You look at your damaged door, you walked up to it but luckily it still worked. You made a motion with your hand as a signal for him to follow you.

"I have a spare room that's across from mine, I'm not sure if I have any spare clothes though I will have to check.." you mumbled, he nodded and went to the spare room to look around. He sat on the bouncy bed and looked at the humbled paintings on the wall. You walked in with a bag of clothes as you sat them on the bed and looked at the shirt size.
"These clothes are from.. Uhm well, my Ex but I'm not sure if they'll fit you." you walk up behind him on the bed and attempted to look at the shirt size of his collar. He grunted and shooed you away with his hand, you roll your eyes and whine in annoyance as he keeps attempting to push you away.
"Michael I need to see what size you are!" you said while trying to see the tag on his, you finally got a glimpse of it but suddenly were pushed off the bed harshly by Michael.
"Ow!! Hey if your gonna be living here you have to at least show some kindness" you put your hands on your waist and scoffed. Michael pushed away the bag refusing to take a look at it, you made a confused expression wondering why he didn't want to take the clothes.
You facepalmed and put the bag on the side of the bed, you looked back at Michael but he wasn't on the bed. You gave a shocked look and went downstairs quickly trying to find the strange man.
Michael frantically searched through the living room pushing away pillows and blankets, you were about to interrupt him until he raced to the kitchen.
"What are you even looking for!?" you try to catch up with his speed, he aggressively opens the dishwasher as steam comes out making you squint your eyes. He pulls out his now soapy knife and stared at you before walking away.
You heard a sudden knock at the door making Michael quickly turn to you, Michael quickly hides between the shadows before the knocking got louder. You knew Michael was watching yet he was nowhere to be seen.
"Y/N?! Y/N?! it's Loomis open up!!" Loomis banged at the door making you gasp, you run over to the front door and unlock it revealing the old man. He grumbled and walked in uninvited into your home. You close the door and you stared at the stressed man. His eyes had eyebags under them and he smelled like alcohol making you scrunch your nose in disgust.
"We have no fucking leads, it's almost as if he just disappears with no trace! The devil himself is roaming the town and it's really starting to piss me off at how the detectives wave it off like its nothing!? have you seen him?" he paces back in forth in your living room, you shook your head and fiddled with your fingers nervously.

"I don't think he's like the devil Loomis, I'm sure we'll find him soon..." you said softly, he glares at you making you gulp. Michael watched Loomis tower over you which made him feel even more aggressive at Loomis.
"Once we find him, we aren't going to put him in Smith's Grove Sanitarium. He took so many lives just in one night. I feel humiliated knowing that people know exactly who I am and what a big mistake it was to not keep a close eye on him!" Loomis scolded out of frustration, your eyes widen in shock hearing the words he said.
"W-what- no! there's still a chance that he can be helped, Loomis... please don't do that once you find him!" you pleaded to Loomis making him scoff right at you, he shakes his head and facepalms.
"Y/N! HES LITERALLY EVIL! HES PURE EVIL! I TRIED FOR 25 YEARS AND SO FAR I GOT NOTHING! MY BOOK WAS THE ONLY THING THAT GAVE ME MY MONEY AND NOW THEY WANT MORE BUT I CAN'T GET ANYTHING BECAUSE ALMOST NOTHING HAPPENED!" Loomis officially blew his secret out, your jaw hanged low.. your hands became a fist and your eyes became watery.
"SO YOU'RE SAYING THAT YOU'RE USING THIS MAN'S MENTAL ILLNESSES AS ENTERTAINMENT FOR PEOPLE TO READ AND ONLY FOR MONEY AS WELL! HE NEVER OPENED UP TO YOU BECAUSE YOU TREATED HIM LIKE ACTUAL CRAP!" you scold back, Loomis's eyes widen and he slammed his fist on your table.
"HE HAS NO EMOTIONS! THAT IS NOT A MAN! THAT'S A COLD BLOODED MONSTER!" he screamed at you with anger.
"HE STILL HAS EMOTIONS I SEEN IT! I GOT WAY PAST YOU AND I WAS ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH HIM MANY TIMES! YOU EVEN SEEN IT." you pointed directly at him and shouted with he laughed furiously. Suddenly he grabbed your wrist and you shoved him away attempting to protect yourself.
"OH REALLY!? SO WHAT WAS THE PART ABOUT WHERE HE ATTEMPTED TO OVERDOSE YOU WITH TRANQUILZERS AND STUFFING YOU IN A CLOSET! OR ALL THE PEOPLE HE MURDERED HUH!? YOU MEAN NOTHING TO HIM! ALL YOUR WORDS MEANT NOTHING TO HIM! HE WOULD KILL YOU WITH HIS BEAR HANDS AND WON'T FEEL ANY SORT OF REMORSE! YOUR ONLY A PATHETIC NURSE." He proclaimed with venom in his words, tears welled up in your eyes and you felt your face get heated with anger.
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE LOOMIS!" you screamed, he flips you off and aggressively opened the door. You quickly grab the coffee cup and threw it at his upper chest before he could leave. He screamed and ran out of the house. You slammed the door closed and covered your face in frustration. You felt a muscular hand on your shoulder, you look behind you seeing Michael.
"I'm so sorry you had to hear all of that..." you whispered, he shook his head dismissing your apology. You walk away from him and went upstairs to your room. You slammed the door closed and sat on your bed. You felt yourself let go as you quietly sobbed, you hugged your knees in frustration as Loomis's words echoed in your head.
You wrapped yourself in a blanket attempted to comfort yourself. You didn't know what to believe anymore, either he kills you or he doesn't but either one made you feel anxious each time you thought about it. You wanted to just sink in your bed and never be heard from again. You then heard footsteps to your door making you sigh,
"Go away Michael..." you mumble not wanting to talk, you then heard the sound of a journal being scraped under the door. You raised a brow and noticed the journal under the door of the small space that was between the floor and the door. You get up and huddled to see the journal, you gave a shocked expression seeing the statement he wrote.
You unlocked the door and opened it to see Michael standing right in front of you. You sniffled and opened the door more widely revealing your sad self wrapped in a blanket. He walks in and sits on your bed. You do the same and sniffled again once more trying to hide the fact that you were crying. You inhaled and exhaled, you finally spoke up after some time.
"First off, he deserved that boiling coffee to be thrown at him... second of all I always see my patients as human beings even if they are mentally ill or cold-blooded murder. I still believe that they still have hearts..." You stated with a soft tone, He gets up to take the journal and sat back down, he started to write but it was a bit more calmer this time.
You read the paragraph with tears in your eyes, you wiped your tears but more kept on traveling down your cheek.
"You're a friend to me too Michael... I don't think you deserve to be treated that way either even if you do bad stuff," you spoke with a gentle voice, Michael nodded and searched through his pocket for some seconds. He pulled out a folded crumpled paper making you look at it, he opens it up revealing that its the drawing of him as a stick figure. Your cheeks redden out of embarrassment.
"You weren't supposed to keep t-that.." you giggled, for the first time you heard Michael silently chuckle just a bit. You grin brightly and gave him a tight bear hug, he carefully pats your head making you laugh. Your laugh was something he found entertaining... something he actually cherished with your personality.
"I think it'll be right for you to stay here for a while, Mikey."
