Robyn Fenty, nothing was ever simple. Her whole life was filled with surprises and pain. All a girl wants is to feel beautiful, be loved, and to be treated with respect.

But that's not the case for Robyn after Dwayne walks out on her claiming that he isn't the one for. She is determined to show him that life gets a whole lot more beautiful once you start living for yourself and accept that you can't please everyone.

"I'm tired of the excuses so I'm okay with letting you out of my life, it's about priorities & I am not one of yours anymore." I said practicing these same line every morning just in case I ever ran into Dwayne but that's a slim chance with him having a busy schedule.

I walked out of my house. Heading to the office were I work at.

I don't have to drive very far so as soon as I reach the office. I park my car and make into the building. I work as secretary for two rich and handsome brothers. Who basically run the west coast.

"Robyn are you just getting to work? "I looked up to see James,he smiled before taking a sit on my desk.

I put my bag under the table and gave my attention to James."yes I just got here,why? ".I said. "Could I see you in my office? "I nodded rising to my feet and following behind him to his office.

We made it to his office. He allowed me to go in first inside as he closed the door. I turned towards his still posture at the door.

"Robyn I know you been working here for some time now. Have you ever thought about doing something else?"I gave him a confused expression.

"What's going on?"I asked.

"You can't work here anymore " James said.

I was so upset that I had rampage in his office and I walk up to him and slap him.

I stormed out and packed my things and left the scene.

I sprinted around the lobby to the front doors. I walked across the street to my car which was being towed.

"Hey that's my car! "I yelled.

"Well not anymore, miss"he said.

I was resorted to take a cab instead. Once in the cab I took a second to relax. I gave him my address and ten minutes later. I had arrived.

"Ma'am, you total is $25." He said.

"Here keep the changed "I said handing him thirty dollars.

I got put and shut the door and walked toward the damn house left by my parents.

I walked inside when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey mellie, I don't have a lot of time because these idiots here thought it would be funny to replace the gas in my car with sugar water." She cackled. Why did she have to call me that? He's the only one who can call me by that nickname.

"So it's been like what three or four months since things ended between Dwayne and you, right?"she asked.

"Yeah it has"I said.

"Well how about we go out tonight and get you a new man or we could go burn down his house. Totally up to you. "She said.

"What time are we going to the club? "I said.

"Dammit I thought you would pick the second one but I'll tell you when I get home."she said.

We hung up. Destiny is my best friend since we were babies like literally our moms are best friends so I guess it was natural for us to be. We both are average height and basically the same size. We do everything together. We even have are time of the month at the same time.

I walk in the kitchen grabbing me some wine and getting some leftover from last night in the fridge.

I place the plate of food in the microwave and press start. When the food was done.I went into another room and turned on the TV.

I got up from the couch and ran to the bathroom, throwing up my dinner. After I washed my mouth and decided to take a shower.

I went to my closet I pulled out a nude bodycon dress with a golden belt. The back was cut out.I put on the dress and did my hair and make up. I put on my nude pumps when I heard a voice from behind.

"I love that dress"Destiny said from behind me. I spin around for her to take in all of the view.

"Thanks, I guess we're going now then"I said.

"Hell yeah,we going now so grab your clutch purse and we out"she said trying to ran to the front door.

"Oh des wait for me "I yelled.

I quickly locked my door but I felt like I was being watched.

"Hey I noticed you gain some weight boo, I guess we back to the gym. Overtime. "Destiny said as we drove off.

"You really think so? "I asked.

"Yeah maybe it was your period. You know how we eat. "She said. I looked at laughing but it was like a voice in my head saying 'you laughing now but bitch you never got your period. '

I shook my head.

I looked out the window and it looks like the moon trying to race with our car.

We finally made to the club. We didn't have to wait in line because destiny has all the connects.

We made inside and it was a lot of bodies moving but I went straight for the bar.

I finally made it and took a sit. I ordered a martini.

When I felt someone come behind me and whispered "what do a woman like you like? ".

" She wants a gentlemen who knows when not to be gentle." I said facing the mysterious person.

But he was already gone but I did hear a noise almost like someone growled.

I guess I'm losing my mind today.

I turned back to see a sex God of a man. He was beautiful but he had smell to him that made me want to throw up so I did.

"Oh you bitch"the man screamed at me.

"Oh I'm so sorry "I tried saying but another voice spoke.

"Franklin do you speak to your mother like that. You know better than that. Get the fuck out of here."the voice said with so much authority.

"Whatever Dwayne "the man said before taking off.

"Dwayne is that you? "I said.

"Yes,whats wrong with you? "He asked.

"I just had to much to drink so I'm gonna leave now "I said walking away from him.

I made it out the club but before I could continue walking.

My entire world went black.
