"are you going to stream with us tonight?"

"no thanks", i go, shaking my head to underline the statement.

"what?? why not?"

"sure?", nick grins. "you'll be fine, it would be so funny!"

"i don't want to have anything to do with your streamer stuff or social media in general, i'll watch from behind the camera. that's where i'm most comfortable anyway.", i smile, hoping they'd understand.

karl smiles as he pulls me into a deep hug, whispering "it's alright, thank you" into my ear.

i let go of him to look into his eyes, a confused glare in mine.

nick and karl just smiled at me widely.

"what point?", i ask still confused, just making nick laugh. "please explain!", i whine. "i wanna know!"

"a friend of ours was suspicious by what karl had told us how y'all met and thought you might have gotten his number somewhere knowing who he is, lying and tricking him into trusting and liking you, then gaining cloud and fame only to use him. you know, wanting to stream with him, post about him or wanting him to post about you, befriending us as well for cloud or whatever benefits etcetera.", nick explained finally, making my jaw drop slightly.

"i knew you weren't like that from the beginning but we needed to make sure.", karl smiled at me, softer than he ever had before.
