《Burn Archer》One- Help?

A large orange figure dragged me by the legs roughly along the golden sand. My body left a trail of blood as I was hauled across the beach.
My body ached and every bone in my body felt broken as I made an effort to resist the creature's grip.
I wanted to scream and wail, but all that came out were sobs. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I realised that I couldn't do anything about it.
"Please- please, let me go." The words barely left my mouth as I leaned.
It picked my body up and strolled towards a hut. My body dangled from its' hands, feeling helpless.
We entered the inside of a house. My vision was blurry, so I could see objects lying around lifelessly (very much like me).
It set me down on a bed which felt like natural fleece. I let out a scream as my back touched the mattress.
"Let me go!" I tried to throw a tantrum, but my body made no effort to move. An instinct in my heart told me, that it was a woman.
She stood up and went into a room and brought out a tray. It held a golden bowl filled with water and a few white towels next to it. She dipped it in and squeezed it over my forehead. I screamed as it burnt my forehead and stung me.
"Stop, that hurts! It-"
I tried reaching out but my hand felt broken so I stayed still. It burnt through my skin and it seemed as if it was pulling my brain out as she laid the towel there.
She picked up another wet towel and tied it around both my hands slowly. I bit my lip hard as I swallowed the scream down. I tried to lift my head up to see my arm but my neck bones felt broken. From the corner of my eye, I saw blood dripping through the towels.
She did the same thing all over my body. After a few hours, she got another set of towels and did the whole thing again.
I finally began to think clearly. The clouds in my head seemed to have cleared. I was covered in white towels and blood was pouring out.
I must have lost a lot of blood. Probably enough to kill me. So why wasn't I dead? I was finally able to lift my head up but the creature gently pushed my head down.

She brought out a big roll of bandage and tied it around my head, neck, arms, knees, rib cage and stomach like a cast. As soon as she was done, I sat up on the bed.
"Why are you tying a bandage on me?"
It seemed as if she smiled. "You've broken most of the bones in your body and lost a ton blood in your body."
"Then how am I not dead? Was that water magical or something?" My mouth poured out with questions before I analysed the situation.
"That was pure water."
"But how did that help?" I asked.
She shrugged. "I picked you up at that beach and while I saw you lying there, the water from the ocean was slowly healing you but you were in a really bad condition so I brought you here. It's quite a miracle how your fractures got better so fast and how the water helped you gain all that blood-"
"Wait a second. You're an Oagle, aren't you?" I interrupted her.
She slowly nodded.
"Then how in the world do you speak English? Oagles can't speak more than one language."
I realised that her red slimy nose was squished against her face and her yellow eyes glowed against her skin. She was plump but she was skinnier than most Oagles I'd seen. "The spider. The same kind that got you," she said eyeing my glowing hands.
My jaw dropped and I stared at her. "Y-you mean, you l-lived through it?" I stuttered. I felt a pinch of hope in my heart as I sat up straight on the bed.
She chuckled. "Now, now, don't get your hopes up. My case is one in a trillion."
"How did you get bitten?" I asked with a glum expression.
"Genetics."
I frowned and tilted my head. I felt a sharp pain spread across my neck so I lightly touched the bandage and straightened it. "Do you mind telling me a bit more?"
"My mother had me before she died because of those spiders. Oagles grow much faster than other creatures which meant that I had until I was 18 until I was going to die. Luckily for me, I didn't because my treatment worked. In that process, I gained a power-"
"-to talk in English?"

She gave me a frustrated look and shook her head. "For the ability to speak in any language. Anyways may I ask you a question?"
Before I could reply she answered, "Are you a mermaid?"
Although my jaw hurt, I couldn't help but laugh at it. "No, why do you ask?"
"Because mermaids have very similar characteristics as yours."
"Wait, mermaids are real?" I asked frowning.
She nodded. "They live on a planet very close to your own. I've met them you see. They have the ability to heal by water and can also turn into humans."
"Now that I think about it, I've never been hurt before. When I did get hurt, it would erase the next day."
My head flashed with memories of my childhood when I never cried of getting hurt even when I broke my arm.
"Are you sure you're not lying to me about being a mermaid-"
"I already told I'm not!" I shouted but instantly regretted it so I clutched my mouth.
She smiled. "You know what surprises me more? The fact that you nearly died and you didn't cry much."
"Well, I've never really cried after I've gotten hurt before, to be honest."
Something in that sentence sparked something inside her. "Want to do something?"
I started off with an irritated tone, "In this condition, I barely think I'm capable of standing up-"
"Who cares?" She seemed excited. "Something fun. Something dangerous."
She grabbed both my arms with her orange hands and hauled me towards the door. I screamed as my hand felt as if it was being torn apart. "Oh, I completely forgot, I'm sorry."
She opened the door to let me walk out. The hut was surrounded by palm trees and the beach was a few metres away.
"Wait how am I breathing here?"
"I'm wondering the same thing."
My lips shivered as the thought of already being in hell hits my brain. "Are you sure I'm still alive?"
"You might want to save that question for later," she whispered.
She led me deeper into the island and soon I realised that we were climbing up an island. Soon we reached a river with an incredibly strong current. The river had broken branches floating inside.
"Alright, so there's a waterfall at the end of this river. You need to get in and come out before you reach the waterfall. Even if you do happen to fall down the waterfall, you can't get much worse." She paused. "It doesn't matter if you're dead if you don't pass this."
"What do you mean-"
"You don't get a say in this, now jump in and start."
"Are you insane? My body is basically joined together by sticky tape so my pieces don't break apart and you want me to jump in that?" I asked pointing down. "Even a well-grown man wouldn't stand a chance against it."
She glared me in the eye like a dangerous hawk. "Are you scared?"
I tried finding some fear within myself but I didn't feel anything. Not an ounce of fear. I could easily jump in but common sense told me that it wasn't a good choice.
Something warned me inside myself to not be completely honest in this situation.
"Yes," I said bluntly. "Yes I'm scared, I'm terrified."
"You're lying."
"Why would you say that?" I asked cautiously.
"Because-" She stopped. "You're a terrible liar and if you don't go, I'm gonna have to push you in!"
Suddenly I felt thrown into the river. My body hit the water and I felt sick. Water flowed into mouth and eyes as it searched the water to find the current's pattern.
My body slammed against a tree branch and my hips twisted. I grabbed the tree close to my chest as legs swayed in the strong current. The waterfall was just metres away. I screamed as the pain in my arms took over me and I held on to it tighter.
I constantly kept coughing as I pulled on the tree branch roots to pull myself closer to the land. Suddenly the tree broke off the land and I got hauled along with it. I grabbed on to the top of the branch and pulled my body on top of it as it went towards the fall at the greatest speed possible.
My heart began beating faster as it got closer to the fall. I bent down and wrapped my arms around the tree tightly so that I wouldn't fall off. The branch stopped slightly when I reached the end of the river.
Then it dropped.
