Kavin was having lunch with Sonam after doing Dipankar's work.
"Bhaiya!"...Sonam called out in a small voice with tear brimmed eyes.
"Hmmm?"...Kavin uttered without looking up at her.
"I am sorry!"...Sonam mumbled and broke into tears.
Kavin looked up at her as he heard her crying voice. He immediately stood up from his chair and went near her. Sonam hugged him and started crying bitterly.
"I am sorry bhaiya...Mujhe aapse kal badtameezi nahin karni chahiye thi...Aur Preeti bhabhi ko bura bhala bhi nahin kehna chahiye tha...Sorry...Maine aapka dil dukhaya"...She said and sobbed, hugging him all the tight.
"Sshhh!...Chup ho jao Sonam...Rona band karo"...Kavin uttered softly, separating from her and wiping away her tears.
"Bhaiya...I am really sorry!"...Sonam uttered again in a teary voice.
Kavin hugged her warmly and caressed her head.
"I know!"...He uttered softly, patting her right cheek.
Sonam stopped sobbing and looked at him.
"Mujhe apni honewali bhabhi pasand hain"...She said softly, looking at him.
Kavin smiled winsomely after hearing her.
At the other side, Dipankar was walking here and there all tensed and angry. Meanwhile Purvi came near him.
"Papa"...She called out softly.
"Haan?"...Dipankar uttered, looking to the other side.
"Aapka khaana tayyar hai...Chaliye kha lijiye"...Purvi said softly.
"Mujhe bhookh nahin hai"...Dipankar said sternly.
"Kya baat hai papa?...Aapne subah bhi kuchh nahin khaaya"...Purvi said worriedly.
"Mann nahin hai"...Dipankar said sternly.
"Kuchh aur bana doon?"...Purvi asked.
"Nahin...Maine faisla kiya hai ki jab tak main zinda hoon apne liye kisi aur ko takleef na doon...Jao tum aaram karo"...Dipankar said sternly, looking at her.
"Ye aap kya keh rahe hain!...Aapki seva karne mein mujhe koi takleef nahin hoti...Khushi hoti hai...Aaiye"...Purvi said with a soft smile, holding his right arm.
Dipankar looked at her hands on his arm and then at her.

"Chaliye...Kuchh kha lijiye"...Purvi said softly, taking him to the dining table.
Dipankar sat on a chair as she dragged one for him. He looked at her with tear brimmed eyes.
"Please papa...Kha lijiye"...Purvi said softly, forwarding a morsel of food towards him.
Dipankar sighed and ate it. Meanwhile Kavin and Sonam came there. They smiled when they saw Purvi feeding Dipankar.
"Are waah uncle!...Bhabhi to aapko bachchon ki tarah khaana khila rahi hain!"...Sonam remarked in a chirpy voice.
Dipankar and Purvi looked at them. Kavin and Sonam came and sat with them on the dining table.
"Mujhe bhookh to nahin thi magar ye zabardasti khila rahi hain"...Dipankar said, looking at them.
Kavin and Sonam smiled while looking at Purvi who was looking at Dipankar.
"Uncle aapke insurance ke documents aa gaye hain...Unhone ek naya form diya hai, ispar aapko sign karna hoga"...Kavin said to Dipankar.
"Mujhe?"...Dipankar asked, looking at him.
"Jee haan Preeti ke signature verify karne ke liye...Kyunki unko hamesha darr laga rehta hai kahin paisa galat aadmi ko na mil jaaye"...Kavin said and chuckled, looking at him.
"Itna sab kuchh karne ke baad bhi aksar paisa galat aadmi hi le jaate hain"...Dipankar remarked, eating his breakfast.
Purvi looked at him anxiously and then at Sonam and Kavin.
Purvi: Main chai laati hoon...
"Nahin nahin...Hum chai nahin peeyenge...Hum to aapko lene aaye hain"...Sonam said with a smile, holding her right hand.
"Mujhe?"...Purvi uttered confusedly, looking at her.
"Haan!...Aaj holi ka tyohaar hai aur hum mere farmhouse par mana rahe hain...Sonam ki friends aa rahi hain aur unki zid hai ki tumhe bhi aana hoga"...Kavin said with a smile, looking at her.
"Lekin main kaise jaa sakti hoon"...Purvi uttered, looking down.
"Kyun nahin bhabhi!"...Sonam exclaimed sulkily, looking at her.
Purvi also looked at her and was about to say something but Kavin interrupted her.

"Dekha Sonu...Maine tumhe theek kaha tha na ye inkar kar dengi"...Kavin said to Sonam, looking at Purvi.
Purvi: Nahin...Ye baat nahin hai...Papa ghar mein akele hain aur phir...
"Oh uncle!...Aap to jaante hi hain ki kal hum log wapas Mysore chale jaayenge, bhej dijiye na bhabhi ko...Please!"...Sonam pleaded like a kid, putting her hands around Dipankar's neck from behind.
"Maine kab roka hai...Ye ghar ki bahu hain...Apni marzi ki maalik...Jahan jaana chahein jaayein"...Dipankar said sternly, moving his spoon in the bowl of dal.
Purvi felt bad with his words.
"Oh thank you uncle!"...Sonam squealed happily.
She looked at Purvi and smiled merrily.
"Aaiye bhabhi"...She said, holding her right hand and walking outside the house with her and Kavin.
Dipankar looked blankly at their retreating figures.
Kavin, Purvi and Sonam reached the farmhouse. Anu, Jyoti, Kirti, Sana, Riya, Malvika (Sonam's friends) smiled and rushed to Purvi.
"Happy Holi bhabhi!"...They all wished her with a pleasant smile.
Purvi smiled and wished them back. They were about to put colours on her but Sonam stopped them.
"Bhabhi ko koi rang nahin lagayega!"...Sonam said strictly.
Kavin and her friends looked at her confusedly but Purvi didn't say anything.
"Bhabhi ko sabse pehle main rang lagaungi!"...Sonam squealed merrily, applying pink gulal on Purvi's cheeks.
"Sonam!"...Purvi uttered surprisingly, touching her cheeks.
"Happy Holi bhabhi!"...Sonam wished in a chirpy voice, hugging her all the tight.
Purvi smiled lightly and hugged her back. Kavin smiled placidly while looking at both of them.
"Bhabhi aap bhi mujhe rang lagaiye...Lagaiye lagaiye"...Sonam said like a kid, parting away from the hug.
Kavin smiled and shook his head. Purvi smiled and applied orange gulal on Sonam's and her friends' cheeks.
"Happy Holi bhabhi!"...Sonam's friends wished again, putting colours on Purvi.
And within seconds they ran with Sonam to their other friends. Purvi looked at them and then at her saree which has turned coloured from white. She sighed and started cleaning it. Kavin noticed her doing so but didn't say anything at that moment.
After sometime, Purvi was standing in the verandah of the farmhouse and was looking at everyone who was playing Holi. She reminisced her old days when she used to celebrate Holi with her paternal uncle and friends. Her eyes welled up with tears.
"Bhabhi!...Aaiye na!"...Sonam called her from the lawn.
Purvi smiled lightly and nodded in no. Before Sonam could say anything her friends took her with them. Purvi shook her head and smiled at them.
Kavin looked at Purvi and he didn't like the fact that she was standing alone and looking at them all.
"Dushyant!...Main abhi aaya!"...He said to Dushyant, looking at Purvi.
Dushyant nodded and he went to Purvi to take her with him. In the way he was pushed unintentionally by someone and accidentally the red gulal from his hands fell on Purvi's upper forehead. Purvi touched her upper forehead and looked at him in surprise.
"Ye kya kiya aapne!"...She uttered surprisingly, touching her upper forehead.
Kavin held her hand and pulled her closer by wrapping his left arm around her waist.
"Ise mita dogi?"...He asked softly, looking at her.
Purvi didn't say anything. She looked at others who were busy with themselves and then she looked at Kavin again.
"Ye to bhagwan ka sanket hai Preeti...Anjaane mein jo gulaal tumhare maang mein bhar gaya hai, wo hamesha hamesha ke liye sindoor bankar chamakta rahega"...Kavin said softly against her face.
Purvi lowered her gaze and smiled shyly. Kavin tilted her chin up and admired her.
