"Fake happiness is just the desire of delusional people"
-Anesthesia
It arrives through a simplistic and minimalistic way. One compares himself to another, thus brings the annoying feeling of jealousy and insecurity. An extra pound is the equivalent of the standard bovine, but in more often cases, a pesky boar; Slight differences in complexion brings the verdict of one's failure to please the standards for beauty; and the latest of technology is for the upper caste, whilst the second-hands passed from mother to son is symbolized as "unfortunate."
We know of this issue in society, but only the minority of the minority actually contribute to the changes in this insight of what we deem "the unfortunate." Some voice out their opinions, thou without proper knowledge nor experience. These are the people which we like to call "bandwagons." Some might have good intentions, some for self-satisfaction, but the common end of the actions of these bandwagons are just futile, and most of these even worsen the already present anxieties of the unfortunate.
The majority of the people in the society are silent. They may or may not know, but because of their unwillingness to be involved in conflicts for the greater good, they don't do anything. The common reason for people like this is "I don't have anything to do with it." It reflects how people are naturally selfish and self-centered.
And the worst of the sectors are the people who not only care but actually impose these insecurities upon the mindsets of the people already affected and the young, who are prone to becoming members of depression. These are the ones who exchange "humane" for money. Driving down the roads seeing advertisements comparing the beautiful white skin to the skin which they deem "dull." Panics due to pimples, blackheads, and all these common changes in our body during puberty are taken advantage of by the television, who promote products to rid of these disturbances.

Pangea: A New World
What is the system? What is its purpose? Who made it? All three are questions that have been debated throughout the ages, and yet to date the answers remain unfound. However, some irrefutable fact exists. The system expands, grows and enables. The system seeks to expand its reach, grow its influence and enable those under it to flourish. A Beginners Guide to the System, Germain Fitzgerald This is a story not of the system but of an individual who suffers, flourishes and ultimately evolves under its influence. Follow the growth of Jacob Lockerby from a normal teenager granted access to a world of his dreams and watch as this previously ordinary individual becomes extraordinary. Herein lies the tale of he who would become a legend. Update Scehdule: Every Sunday 10pm GMT. The Fine and Wholesome Activity of Chasing Shadows

Every tale features the supernatural but these stories are unexpectedly human. So yea, it's a series of interconnected short stories. This is my first time writing publicly like this so I'd love to hear some comments and criticism.
