"Y/n...I... I wanted to tell you something...,"Jimin said while rubbing his knuckles.
" What is it?," Y/n asked, perplexed, seeing the nervous stature of the latter.
He took a deep breath and continued- "I feel something towards you Y/N. I-I think I like you." He averted his gaze to the girl in the last sentence, staring into her eyes intently.
Though he made eye contact courageously, his heart was racing so fast,
"W-What..?"she stuttered and stared back at Jimin.
But soon, her face crinkled, and she broke into laughter.
Out of all reactions, Jimin wasn't expecting this.
"Y-You are joking, right? I thought you were honest for a second." She said, controlling her laugh and grinning at her friend.
"Ani, I'm serious," Jimin said.
The look on his face made Y/N's smile drop and gulp. Though her heart skipped a bit when those words left his mouth, she couldn't believe it and hence thought of it as a Joke.
"What..?"
Jimin looked down again and continued, "Y/n, I know it may be not the correct time for this, and this may come abruptly, but I want to let you know. From day one I have felt a strange feeling inside me. It's been a habit to see you every day. It's been a habit to sit with you every day and talk to you every day.
This feeling is.. different from friendship.
Whenever I see you, I get butterflies in my stomach. This feeling is.. strong, really strong, that it makes me pull towards you. These...our meetings..? I feel happy whenever I'm around you."
It would be a lie to say if Jimin wasn't having second thoughts. He was scared, too.
What if this confession ruins everything?
"Jimin.."
Y/n felt her throat dry as words weren't coming out of her mouth. She wasn't able to come up with any reply as she stared at Jimin in disbelief.

"I-...A-Are you-...Huh...Jimin ...I..." She started feeling cold. Not because of the weather, but because of her situation.
She certainly wasn't ready for this, and not from him.
A warm hand wrapped around her knuckles as she looked up. Jimin had taken her hand in his and smiled faintly at her.
"It's okay Y/n." His voice and eyes both had a hint of guilt, yet it comforted Y/n a little.
Though Y/n's composure gave Jimin a bad feeling, he still wanted to believe. That maybe, just maybe...
"Jimin-ssi, first, I respect your feelings. It was surely unreal that I encountered you under such circumstances. You-You are a very special person to me. I felt something around you... But... But I, I am afraid it may no-" A lump formed in her throat as the thought of hurting the person she cherished and respected so much threatened her.
Sensing something, Jimin squeezed her hand a little, "It's fine Y/n, I don't want you to rush to anything, or put you in a difficult situation. I want you to take your time. But please...please...think about it." Jimin pleaded, hiding his turmoil very well.
He didn't want to break in front of Y/n, not when he was the one who put both of them in this condition.
"I-I'm sorry Jimin."
" Y/n-ah, I told you all of this because this concerned you. You had a right to know...a-a"
"I'm really glad you did Jimin. I-I'll think about it." She gave him a small smile and nodded.
Jimin pursed his lips and returned the smile.
Both of them were looking ahead, Jimin's hand still wrapped around Y/n's palm in a good way. Y/n didn't mind. She was not only afraid that pulling the hand after such a serious conversation may come out as rude, but also she was being selfish to get comfort from it.

Who knew if it was the last day?
After sitting in silence for the next few minutes,
"It's getting late," Y/n murmured.
"Oh yes. We should head back before someone comes to look for us." Jimin said as he got up. The warmth slipped away from Y/n hand too with that.
Shaking her thoughts, Y/n stood up as well and silently followed Jimin inside. There was an unspoken boundary formed between them that neither of them wanted. Y/n felt sudden formal-ness in Jimin's voice which made her shiver.
They took the elevator upstairs, failing to notice the figure clad in the blue jacket that took the stairs.

Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: End of the Five, Twenty-three, and Twenty-nine Years Story
Alternate titles: - Five, Twenty-Three, Twenty-Nine Years - 5, 23, 29 "Dad? I think I got a really bad fever, why do I still feel fine?" "It feels cold..." Five years ago, Owen became a Court Wizard in search of his father who was lost to the unknown three years prior. But that wasn't the beginning of the story. Maybe it began twenty-three years ago when Ronald Bell and Joshua Ruze saved the Illyer family. Or perhaps, it all started twenty-nine years ago, when Ronald, the son of the wealthiest merchant, became a Court Wizard. Well, it doesn't matter anymore, for the story five, twenty-three, and twenty-nine years ago shall now meet its end. 2nd book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Read Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia first. This story is split into two 'Collections,' Ronald's Collection and Owen's Collection, each centering around those Court Wizards. Crossposted with WordPress site, Wattpad, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo.
