Trunks raises his hand and blasts the door down walking into the lab

Trunks:no 16 .. Then was he only built because I went to the past and gero thought I was a threat

Trunks looks around finding the entrance into the underground lab

Trunks kicks the door open and jumps down as trunks lands he sees the lab the computer creating cell who is already huge

Trunks powers up into his super saiyan state

Zanpakuto spirit:don't you think you've been using the super saiyan state quite a bit you've used it to get places faster and to fight the artificial humans and now to kill cell not to mention freeza and his father

Trunks:I want to he sure that nothing remains

Shiki:don't forget the designs for 17 and 18

Trunks:right

Trunks looks around for a but before he finds the plans

Trunks:alright I got it.. Now time to kill cell

Trunks raises his hand a ball of energy forming in his hand ready to blast cell into oblivion before stopping

Shiki:what's wrong

Trunks:... Nothing just... Thinking

Both:then do it

Trunks raises his hand once more blasting cell straight into hell this time as nothing of cell remains and trunks blasts the computer as well fire and smoke begins to cover the underground lab

Trunks:time to go

Trunks quickly leaves with the plans for the artificial humans and quickly heading home

Time skip to trunks getting home

Trunks:mom

Trunks says this worried not liking the idea of leaving bulma alone with 17 and 18

Bulma:in here son

Trunks walks into the room that has his mother and 17 and 18

Bulma:what took you

Trunks:sorry here by the way

Trunks hands bulma the plans for the artificial humans

Bulma:great

Trunks:listen mom... Could you continue making the time machine fuel

Bulma:what but.. The threat of the artificial humans might finally be over

Trunks:yeah but.. I want to make sure that both times are safe

Bulma:... Alright son I guess I can keep making the fuel but that will need to wait I need to make the off switches first while they are asleep now it's kinda hard to reprogram them while they simply sleep so I'll make the off switches then work on the fuel then reprogram them

Trunks:right I'll stay here until they are switched off

Bulma:are you sure you may get tired and... You should probably change to those clothes are pretty ripped up...why don't you go take a bath and change I'll fix these up once your done and I'm done with the remote

Trunks:alright mom

Trunks leaves the room as bulma gets to work

After 24 hours bulma finishes the remote and turns both artificial humans off so that she can reprogram and is now fixing trunks jacket

Bulma:honestly son why didn't you just take this off when you were training

Trunks:sorry

Bulma:.. Maybe we should cut your hair to don't want it gettin in the way when you go to the past huh

Trunks:actually... I kinda like it like this

Bulma:oh well I guess it's fine just take care of your hair son after all we can afford to do that type of thing now

Trunks:are you sure this is the best idea mom

Bulma:you know... Your father wouldn't have been alive if not for goku... When he first came to earth krillin was going to kill him but goku let him go... And because of that I have you...

Bulma:my point son is that second chances are something that can cause miracles so give them a second chance after I'm done

Bulma:and when you go to the past.. Your father may be upset with your growth in power.. Hes the prideful type but he'll get over it

Bulma:about 8 months it's not easy well... It would probably be easier now.. But I want to reprogram 17 and 18 to so.. About 6 months and while you are in the past I'll work on those two back there

Trunks:right

Bulma finishes trunks jacket after a bit

Bulma:hey I got it why don't you go help out rebuild and find yourself a girlfriend while you wait for the time machine

Shiki:no I shall sacrifice myself and be the girlfriend

The two begin to argue as bulma snaps her fingers in front of trunks face

Bulma:son you there

Trunks:uh yeah I don't think I'm going to do that just yet

Bulma:well I'm sure you'll find someone

Shiki:I'm right here

Trunks:why did mother have to bring this up
