THIRTY-FOUR:
A love story so tragically beautiful that the two boys can't decipher what's right from wrong, and where the start of their story is. Like a bittersweet beginning, to a beautiful nightmare of an ending. But...like Taehyung had said before, they need to tear away the webs of the end and travel in the middle to find themselves. It didn't make sense. Of course it wouldn't make sense. Because nothing made sense when it came to the two broken boys. They were just simple two truths that couldn't mix well together, but somehow, they were able to mould together to create something bigger and better than what they expected.
Misdirection, mistaken and misunderstood. So much had gone wrong for the two boys that they no longer trusted their own voice in their mind but luckily, like an ultimate blessing, they were able to trust in each other. Jungkook, a bright soul, with his cherry hair, doe eyes and bunny smile, was able to show Taehyung that there was a brighter side to life, even if he didn't want to smile, there was people standing beside him, smiling for him, and one of those people were Jungkook himself.
And now they were so caught up in their own words that were manipulating them from the start, they didn't know how to see, hear, rid of any senses, the two were just searching for each other in a foggy, blank room. And yes, it wouldn't ever make sense. But since when did love make sense? When was love ever easy? Love wasn't easy. It was messy, complicated, rushed, slow, everything mixed together. Everything bad. And everything good. Till the emotions just can't be contained anymore, and they just pour out into the moulds to harden and to stay with you forever.
Being swallowed up by the water around you. So suffocating. So hard to open your eyes and see the dangers in front of you. But you don't. And that's what's so beautiful about love. The risks that a person can take knowing that they're doomed with pain, sadness and grief, and yet...for that minute of bliss, a lifetime of blessed and painful memories. But wasn't that just spectacular? Wasn't that the best thing about falling in love? Wasn't it perfect to know that putting your all into it can bring so much, and by the end of the day we walk away with not a broken heart, not a happy heart, but with a lesson that we learn from.
There was so much beauty in love.
And when the sun finally sets, the darkness arrives. And yet, it isn't sad nor scary. Because as soon as the sun leaves, the moon follows after it, along with it's galaxy of stars. And that was so...unreal. We're all so scared of the darkness that we forget that the moon is watching over us. Doesn't the moon get upset? Seeing all of humanity scared of the dark, not knowing that the pure ball of light is protecting us?

Truly heartbreaking, that's what it was.
Could he truly decipher that Jungkook was the moon, with his army of stars? Or was he just blinded by his own anxiety. Was the younger boy the last thread of string that he had? Or was it not a thread, was it a rope? And was Taehyung ready to be pulled up into the sky to finally come face to face with the moon? Was he finally ready dive in deeper into the stars and finally open up his own to the darling, twinkling lights of the night sky?
The answer was yes.
His insides were screaming a million times yes. Jungkook was everything that Taehyung needed to finally see that sliver of light. No, to see the door being open ajar. And seeing that small gap of light bleeding through. And all Taehyung needed to do was to run up to that door and push it open with all of his might. Maybe all this time he was looking up for the strings of hope, he hadn't noticed the familiar outline of a large door that was calling his name like a sermon.
Taehyung had been unsure of many things in his life. With his dad leaving him, his mother neglecting him and his own soul dying out like a candle flame on its last minute, he had grown accustomed to the thought of being unsure of every step he took forward. But staring up at Jungkook, the masterpiece in front of him. Purple marks littered all over his milky skin, bruises on Jungkook's hips from how hard Taehyung was gripping his hips, cherry hair falling into his eyes, Taehyung sees that this was one thing he didn't regret.
No, he didn't regret making love to Jeon Jungkook. This wasn't just sex in an empty lecturing room. This was messy, complicated, tough, rough, sweet love. And with every step Taehyung was forced to take back in his life, in this moment with Jungkook, he felt like he was leaping forward by miles, and nothing could drag him back. It was just him, and his bun. Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook. That's how it was supposed to be. That's how it was always going to be, and Taehyung promises himself that every moment he spends with his little doll, it would always be Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook.
Taehyung sits up, bringing Jungkook closer, feeling the smaller boy against his own body, basking in the glazed moment before he crashes down into Jungkook's love. He's never been so sure of something. And now, noses touching, Taehyung was finally facing the moon. His moon. His Jungkook. And Jungkook's eyes held the unwritten passage of the stars that Taehyung was slowly reading with his own eyes, more than just lust in his eyes. He was finally in the sky, yet, it had been more than what he was expecting.
Jeon Jungkook was everything.
"I..." Taehyung begins before pausing when Jungkook wraps his hands around Taehyung holding him tightly. Jungkook smiles, kissing Taehyung's nose before looking at the blue eyed boy with soft, doe eyes, "you can take as long as you want Taehyung," Jungkook says, whispering gently but urging Taehyung to go on.

"How is it that...I hurt you so bad, and yet you're so willing to learn about my story?" Taehyung asks, burying his hands in Jungkook's soft hair as he holds the boy in closely. Jungkook shrugs, his forehead against Taehyung's, "because I know that whatever I went through, you went through the same, but ten times worse. So lean on me Taehyung. Let me be here for you," Jungkook says softly, his voice soothing and calm like a gentle lake flowing softly on a calm and sunny day.
"I don't know how many times I have to say this, but I'll never stop Jungkook. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for letting you go. And I'm not sorry just because I hurt you, I hurt you, and hurt myself too. And now I'm realizing that I was the reason why I was unhappy, and all I needed was someone to lean on, and I didn't have...you,"
Taehyung sighs, burying his face in Jungkook's neck, trying to calm down his beating heart, that felt like it was soon going to shut down from how fast it was running. Beating so hard that Taehyung could hear it in his ears. Jungkook soothes Taehyung further by rubbing small circles on his back with nimble fingers, as his own heart parades away.
Jungkook needed this.
He needed to hear Taehyung, this was the only thing he was asking for every time he felt sad, or hurt, or upset. His thoughts always traced back to Taehyung.
The cherry haired needed to feel Taehyung's love. He needed to feel it so hard that he couldn't forget, the memory and emotions swelling up like a whirlpool every moment that he had with Taehyung. And so, after ten long years, Jungkook finally started to believe that the world was good. That he could be himself without any worries. That when the trip ended, and everyone went back to their normal lives, Jungkook didn't need to be scared of his peers, or worry about what they thought about him and his friends because their opinion simply didn't matter.
It was so much more than finding love. In this moment, it was so much more than just naked bodies pressed up against each other. It was finding each other, finding themselves, and finding the thing that pushed them to finally grasp that happiness that was teasing them so much. In this moment, it was everything.
And as the two boys sat together, bodies close, breaths mixing, thoughts running crazy, hearts beating, they got lost in the tornado of themselves, what didn't make sense, was finally starting to...make sense. What left them confused, finally cleared. What they questioned, was finally answered.
The darkness was always there, but now the sun was rising once more. And everything was clearer. Brighter. Happier. And Jungkook was starting to see that his happiness laid in Taehyung. And finally, finally, Jungkook no longer needed to cry. He no longer needed to worry. Because all of his love was bubbling to come out. Never having experienced this before, he sees that this is why it had taken so long. Because...he was always in love with Taehyung in the first place.
The reason why he couldn't give Taehyung up, or forget him, or just be angry at him was because he was so damn in love that it hurt. Every single spark, every single butterfly, every single nervous gulp, it was more than just love. Something undescribably powerful. It couldn't be explained. No, Jungkook couldn't explain his feelings, but he was happy to have them. All of his regrets were slowly washing away, and the only thing he saw was... Taehyung.
That beautiful boy. The one with black curly hair. Blue eyes. Tan skin. And a panty dropping smile. Could Jungkook ever be in love with someone else when Kim Taehyung existed in the world?
The answer was no.
Jungkook smiles, and brings Taehyung's face closer to his, "you know what Taehyung, you don't need to explain to me what you don't feel comfortable with, but just know that I love you so much. And I'm willing to stay by your side for as long as destiny has written for us... because I can't give you up. I can't give up my happiness. And I'm only happy when I'm with you," he whispers, his voice drowning into Taehyung's ears. Jungkook sighs softly, a heavy weight on his shoulders being lifted. Everything made sense now.
And those simple words made Taehyung so happy. He loved Jungkook too. And one of the reasons why was because Jungkook just understood.
Taehyung grins sloppily, snaking an arm around Jungkook's waist loosely, "I love you too Jungkook, and I'm sorry that it took so long..but we made it to the dawn. And that's all that matters. And I promise that for as long as we have together, I won't ever let you forget how much I feel for you. I won't ever let you forget that I can make you happy in so many different ways that I don't have enough fingers to count. Jungkook, I love you and only you," Taehyung announces, slightly panting, letting out deep but soft breaths.
The cherry haired boy presses himself against Taehyung, playing with the black hair of Taehyung's, his eyes soft and knowing, Jungkook presses his lips softly against Taehyung's, tilting his head for more access. Automatically, Taehyung's hands travel down Jungkook's waist go his plush ass, somehow bringing the smaller boy closer. Jungkook giggles into the kisses, pulling away often to look at Taehyung with a starry gaze before peppering the older boy with soft kisses.
They were finally taking their first steps to happiness.

This story was previously known as "The Awakening".~*~"One... two... three... one... two... three... a million... is that number right?" A figure less voice echoed."Hello? Who's there?" Caliope asked, focusing on that voice."One... two... who? A million... a billion... no, it's more... a legion..."Silence. She had seen too many horror movies and heard too many stories about that single word to overpass its meaning. The voice went quiet, yet she was still unable to see where it came from. She rubbed her eyes and all she could see around her was a thick path in a jungle-like scene. She didn't remember how she got there, but she knew it was for something important. Her eyes focused on the far end of the path and all she could see were more trees. She turned to the opposite side and found just the same."One... two... billions... but always back at one..." the voice resumed it's counting."Where are you?
