Camille POV
It's winter break and the boys were spending it at James' house. I was invited, but decided to spend it with the girls at Hogwarts. Right now I sit in our dorm room with Marlene and Lily waiting for Alice. "I saw her with Frank earlier, he gave her an early Christmas present as he was going home for the break" Marlene tells us.
"Those two are perfect together" Lily says sighing.
"Don't worry, we'll all get boyfriends one day" I assure her.
"I thought you were with Sirius" Marlene says confused.
"What made you think that?" I ask her.
"That day in Hogsmeade, he waited on you hand and foot" Lily states.
"Not to mention you're always hugging and kissing each others cheeks" Alice adds as she enters the room with a cactus like plant. She places it on her night stand and sits next to Marlene.
"We're just really good friends" I tell them.
"But you do like him" Lily states.
"So what if I do? He is far to immature for a real relationship" I remind them.
"If you don't ask him out, someone else will" Alice tells me.
"Fine I'll date him if Lily gives James a chance" I state.
"Never going to happen" Lily states. We drop the subject and talk about plans for tomorrow. Before going to dinner where Severus joined us as he was the only Slytherin here for the holidays and if Lily's friend. After dinner we returned to our dorm for a girls night with mani's and pedi's. Even gave each other make overs while reading gossip magazines before going to bed. It felt nice to be a girl for a change instead of a prankster or bookworm.

(Lupin residents) Sirius' POV
"I am so glad you all choose to spend the holidays here" Mrs Lupin states setting up dinner.
"We are honoured you aloud us to be here Mrs Lupin" James tells her.
"Can I speak you Mr Lupin?" I ask and he nods his head. He leads me to his study and I shut the door behind us. "I wish to ask you something" I tell him.
"Does this have anything to do with your feelings for my daughter?" he asks and I blush. "Remus told me one of his friends liked Camille and I know James likes Miss Evans. So that left you and Peter" he states.
"I do like your daughter very much and I want your blessing to ask her out" I tell him.
"You are a fine young man Sirius, but your family would not be thrilled by this. Can you guarantee my daughter's safety?" he asks.
"I'd die for her" I tell him confidently.
"Then you have mine and Hope's blessing to date our daughter. Good luck with Axel, he's a stubborn one" he tells me before we rejoin the others. Remus and James look at me questioningly, but I give them a thumbs up making them smile. We pray before eating and then go to Remus' room to sleep.
(Christmas Eve Hogwarts) Camille's POV
"I can't wait for a child of my own, then Christmas would be even more special" Alice states as we sat in the common room.
"What would you name your child?" I ask her while patting Axel.
"Neville for a boy or Mary for a girl" she states smiling.
"What about you Lily?" Marlene asks patting her cat Coco.
"Harry for a boy, don't know about a girl" Lily says shrugging. "What about you two?" she asks Marlene and I.

"No idea, what about you Camille?" Marlene asks.
"Eric for a boy and I've always dreamed of naming my daughter after my mother" I tell them smiling. "Boy or girl first?" I ask.
"Boy" Alice and Lily say together making us all laugh quietly.
"What about you?" Lily asks.
"A girl, but I'd still be happy with a boy" I tell them. "What about amount of children?" I ask.
"At least two, one of each" Alice states.
"I want three" Lily adds and they all look at me.
"I've always wanted a big family, but I'd stop at five" I tell them.
"You guys are weird, I plan on never having children" Marlene states. "It'll ruin my figure" she adds and we all roll our eyes at her. "Can we took about something else now?" she asks.
"Sure, what is your main goal for next year?" Lily asks us. So we all start to talk about next year goals. Alice's being going on a date with Frank in the muggle world, Lily was getting an outstanding in DADA, Marlene was to get a boyfriend and mine was to start learning to become an animagi.
(Potter Manor) Remus' POV
"So you found the charm?" James asks in excitement.
"Yes, along with another one where we can leave a message for Snape if ever tried to read the map" I tell them.
"This is brilliant, but what about our other problem?" Sirius asks.
"What problem?" Peter asks confused.
"On how to become animagi, we need mandrake leaves" James states.
"There's some in the greenhouse" I tell them. "But could you guys district the professor while I get them?" I ask. They agree and we go back to discussing the map. I was spending Christmas eve here, but returning home tomorrow after opening presents from my friends to spend Christmas with my parents. I just wish Camille would be there to celebrate, this our first Christmas without each other.
(End of Winter Break) Camille's POV
I am at the front gates with Alice waiting for the boys to return while she waited for Frank. Alice spots Frank and tackles him to the ground in a hug while they laugh. "Remus, Sirius!" I shout running over to them. I tackle them to the ground as Sirius laughs hugging me back.
"Get off me you too" Remus complains while James and Peter laugh at us. We all get up and dust the snow off. I hug Remus and he hugs me back chuckling. "I missed you to Cami, have a good Christmas?" he asks.
"Would of been better if you guys were here, but it was nice doing girly things for a change" I tell him. "How are mum and Dad?" I ask him.
"They miss you and send their love" he states. I hug James and shake Peter's hand before jumping onto Sirius' back.
"Onward to the castle your Majesty?" he asks.
"Why of course my noble black steed" I say ruffling his hair. Alice and Frank join us as we head back to the castle. Frank seems like a nice boy and is apparently very good at DADA, so he go along will with Remus. We reach the school and go to lunch before having a snowball fight.

A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel.Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters.There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain?So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
