《Camille Lupin the Unicorn》Writing on the Wall

Camille's POV
It's Halloween night and Nearly Headless Nick is having his Death Day party. I went for half an hour before going to the feast. When I left Harry, Hermione and Ron were still present. They had better join us soon unless they don't want to eat tonight. Which I doubt as tonight is one of the best feasts of the school year next to the Christmas one.
"So Melody what are your plans for Christmas?" Lockhart asks me.
"It's Professor Prewett to you" I tell him. "And it's none of your business" I add.
"Why so cold?" he asks me pouting.
"I'm not sure my brother would approve of your over friendly nature" I state.
"If given a chance I'm sure he'd love me" he says smiling.
"Not likely, he doesn't like liars" I sneer. I get up and go sit beside Snape. "Can I kill him?" I ask.
"Trying to woo you again?" he asks smirking.
"Yes, he's so annoying" I whine. "If you ever get a chance knock him on his arse for me" I tell him.
"Gladly" he says with a small smile.
"I bet he's never even meet a werewolf, he'd not last a night in the forest" I state.
"Most likely and I'd enjoy that show" he says smirking. "We could stun him and leave him in the forest tonight" he adds quietly.
"And face a lecture from Dumbledore" I state. "Can't I just sick Buckbeak on him?" I ask.
"Who?" Snape asks confused.
"One of Hagrid's hippogriffs, I helped raise" I states. "It's look like an accident" I as smiling.
"I'm sure it would" he says chuckling. "By the way have you seen Potter and his friends?" he asks me.
"Last I saw them was at Sir Nick's death day party" I tell him. "But that was nearly thirty minutes ago. I was expecting them here for dessert" I state. The first bunch of students start to leave and dessert starts to disappear. "I'll check on them before I do my marking" I add.

"They've probably gotten lost" he states. "Or found trouble" he adds.
"You always think the worse, I'm sure they're fine. And that they haven't caused any trouble" I tell him. We leave and we find a crowd at the stop of the stairs. "I'm getting Dumbledore" I state and rush back into the great hall. "Professor Dumbledore, there's a problem outside the great hall" I tell him.
Both Dumbledore and McGonagall follow me outside. We make our way through the crowd to see Argus glaring at Harry. Mrs Norris petrified hanging from a torch. A message written in blood on the wall. " Argus, I... Everyone will proceed to their dormitoriesimmediately. Everyone except... you three" Dumbledore tells the trio.
"Ravenclaws follow me" a prefect says as the students leave.
"She's not dead, Argus. She has been petrified" I assure him.
"Ah, thought so. So unlucky I wasn't there. I know exactlythe counter curse that could have spared her" Lockhart brags. I give him the 'shut up' look.
"But how she has been petrified, I cannot say..." Dumbledore says.
"Ask him. It's him who's done it. You saw what he wrote on the wall" Argus Filch says pointing at Harry.
"It's not true sir, I swear. I never touched Mrs. Norris" Harry tells Dumbledore.
"Rubbish!" Filch says.
"If I might, Headmaster? Perhaps Potter and his friends were simply inthe wrong place at the wrong time" I suggest.
"However, the circumstances are suspicious.I, for one, don't recall seeing Potter or his friends at dinner" Snape adds.
"I told you he was at Sir Nick's death day party. You can ask the ghoasts is you don't believe me" I tell Dumbledore.
"That will not be necessary" he assures him.
"We were heading back to the common roomwhen we found Mrs. Norris" Harry states.

"Innocent until proven guilty" I state.
"My cat has been Petrified. I wanna see some punishment" Filch stresses.
"We will be able to cure her, Argus. As I understand it, MadameSprout has a very healthy growth of Mandrakes. When matured, a potion will bemade which will revive Mrs. Norris. And in the meantime, I strongly recommendcaution... to all" Dumbledore tells us.
"I suggest us teachers do a sweep of the school, just to ensure there are no others petrified" I suggest.
"Yes, I agree" Dumbledore says. "You three return to you common room immediately" he tells the trio. They nod their heads and hurry off. He then splits us teachers into pairs and we search the school. We find no other messages or anyone else petrified. But Dumbledore had us keep watch in teams over the night to ensure no further incidents happened.
Honestly though, something about this seems familiar. Especially the message on the wall: I remember reading something about a chamber of secrets years ago. But I can't remember where from. Guess I have some researching to do.

The Sorcerer
This is a fanfiction based on Harry Potter, written by JK Rowling. BEFORE YOU LEAVE, as fan fiction isn't what royal road is known for unless your book is called Borne of Caution, hear me out. This is based 200 years into the future. Hogwarts will be very different, and besides some references, we will follow no characters from the book. In my opinion, this is more of a new, mature, and more realistic version of that universe. If we want to put an analogy to it, I'm borrowing the house, but it's my furniture and things on the inside. Synopsis - 200 years since the battle of Hogwarts. The muggles know - magic is no longer a secret. Wizards and witches show their magical traits much later in life now, their powers weaker than previous generations... and to make matters worse, there is a steady decline in the wizarding population. Follow along as Lux, a muggle-born, shows the world what one determined young wizard can do. What am I going to do now?__________________________________________________________________________This will be my first attempt at any kind of written novel or story, I have had a lot of ideas and tried writing some but realized they were too big in scale or too difficult for a newbie. So after thinking about what I could try for my first attempt, I came up with this. The premise is quite heavily inspired by Re:Monster (also more recently Re:lovely) and many other resurrection web/light novels. Warning Tagged [15+] for Some Strong Language, Gore, Violence.
