《Camille Lupin the Unicorn》1993 Christmas

Camille's POV
Since Gryffindors grim defeat, Harry has recovered after spending a weekend in the hospital wing. Still no luck getting a hold of that rat. Remus went back to teaching. He told me about how he is going to teach Harry how to defend himself from Dementors after the holidays.
I had gone into Hogsmeade to do my shopping one day and saw Harry with Hermione and Ron. I would of told Dumbledore, but Harry deserved some fun. Besides he had his invisibility cloak. Though I wondered how he got past the dementors, they are not fooled by invisibility cloaks. The twins must of told him of one of the secret passage ways.
Anyway I ordered Harry's gift from Sirius and I. It's a Firebolt, I hope he likes it. I did my other shopping. Making sure I had a gift for everyone. Like Hermione, Neville, Remus, Sirius, Snape, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Minerva and the Weasleys.
It's now the Christmas holidays. Most of the students have gone home for Christmas. Fearing Sirius. In fact there are only fifteen of us at Hogwarts currently. Six students including Harry and his two friends. Along with eight professors and Mr Filch. Instead of having lunch in the great hall, I spend it with Remus.
"Are mum and dad upset that we're not home?" Remus asks me curious.
"They understand you had a rough full moon and are to weak to travel. But look forward to seeing us for New Years eve" I tell him.
"I look forward to us spending time together as a family again" he says with a smile.
"Same" I say. "Do you like your gift?" I ask him.
"It's lovely, I see you've been having lessons from Molly" he says putting on the knitted jumper I'd made him.

"Yeah, she's a good teacher. Thank you for the bracelet, it's lovely" I say with the smiling at the charm bracelet he'd gotten me. It has a wolf and unicorn charm on it. Representing us.
"I'll add more charms to it in future" he tells me.
"I'd like that" I tell him. "I have an errand, but see you at dinner?" I ask. He nods his head. I kiss his cheek before leaving. I was heading for the entrance hall when Minerva appears with Harry's new Firebolt in hand.
"Just the person I was looking for. Melody, I need you Filius (Professor Flitwick) and Rolanda (Madame Hooch) to strip this broom down. Check it for any jinxes" she tells me handing me the broom stick.
"Why?" I ask her confused.
"It was a gift to Harry Potter from an unknown sender. There was no note of any kind. All his other presents had notes or cards for the givers. But not this one" she states.
"That's because it's from me" I tell her. "You know Dumbledore lets me give him, Hermione and Neville presents. As long as it's anonymous. Which is why I left no note, I can assure you I did not jinx it in anyway" I state.
"Oh, then I guess Miss Granger and I were worried for no reason" she says looking relieved. "But why a Firebolt?" she asks me curious.
"Harry was admiring one over the summer and I knew he wanted one. But would never get it for himself while he had his Nimbus. So I thought I had the money and would buy one for him. So he does not have to waste his money on a new broomstick" I explain.
"Very well, but I will have to keep it for a few days. So as not to confuse the students. They would find it suspicious if I took the broom to be striped down and handed it back on the same day. I shall return it to Potter after the holidays. So that he can get used to it in time for Gryffindors next match" she tells me.

"Sounds fair, I'm sorry for causing any worry to you and Hermione" I say as I hand it to her.
"It's alright, I should of asked you before I confiscated it" she states. "Have a good day" she tells me before leaving. I sigh and leave the castle. I head to the Shrieking Shack. I find Sirius in the living room.
"Merry Christmas" I say as I hug him.
"Merry Christmas" he says and points above our heads. I look to see mistletoe.
"Sly dog" I say and kiss him. "Harry's broom was confiscated" I tell him.
"Why?" he asks me confused.
"They don't know you're innocent and believe you sent it to him jinxed. But I convinced Minerva that I sent it to him. However, she is going to keep it for until the end of the holidays. Then she'll return it so that he can get used to it in time for his next house match" I explain.
"I guess I can understand her reasoning, but Harry must of been upset" he says.
"I'm sure he was, but I just hope he and Ron don't take their disappointment out on Hermione" I tell him.
"From what you've told me about her, she's tough. I'm sure they will figure things out before long" he states. "By the way, my gift to you" he says handing me a gift. I smile accepting it and open it to see a woven necklace. "It's not much, but I made it myself" he tells me.
"It's lovely, can you put it on?" I ask. He nods his head and I hand it to him. He puts is around my neck. "Perfect" I say and kiss him gently. "I won't be here for new years, I'll be spending it with my family. No taking any risks while I'm gone" I tell him.
"Fine, but I'll miss you" he tells me.
"And I will miss you" I tell him. "But we'll be family again soon. That rat can't hide in Ron's dorm forever" I state.
"With Harry and Neville" he says with a smile. "Maybe a little one of our own" he adds smiling seductively. I smile back and kiss him.
"We will, one day" I tell him. "Hopefully soon" I add. "You know I'm free until dinner" I tell him. He smiles and kisses me passionately. Laying me down on the couch as we start to remove our clothes and ...
