“I’ve known her the longest! She is mine!” Charlie pouted and then threw in a little sexy ecchi pose, “Besides I know how to please her the best.” Her furry cat ears popped up to enhance the pose.

Ella blushed at the provocative pose but stayed quiet and passive.

Willowy and tall Davcina peaked around the corner. She couldn’t believe how bold and brave Charlie was. Her long dark hair covered her eyes which made her more comfortable. When could she work up the bravery to join the others and tell Ella her true feelings?

The unmistakable sound of light reflecting off of eyeglasses caused the group to spin around. Isaac was leaning against the wall with a cool leather jacket and half smile. He pushed his round eyeglasses up so he was no longer looking over the rims. A narrator’s voice suddenly was heard by everyone:

Isaac Black Wolf, 23 years old. Blood Type O. Best basketball player at Columbia. Top honors at his law program. Impossibly good looking.

“Hey,” he said coolly.

The girls squealed in delight. What was Isaac Black Wolf doing here?

“I’m here to confess to Ella. Her and I were meant to be together.”

Tauthe yelled, “Well I am not interested in her. She is the worst. So don’t get the wrong idea or anything.” But her face started blushing. “Uggh. She makes me soooo mad!” And then she punched Ella in the face and ran off. Her short schoolgirl skirt flapping in the wind and exposing her innocent white underwear.

Tauthe could feel her heart beating and tears falling down her face. “Stupid baka. Why couldn’t I just confess to her the truth?”

The room was quiet for a moment after Tauthe had left.

The door opened again and Jade walked in. Her elegant lace gown was a dark purple and her braided hair was done in excessive braids, piled up high. She had a bonnet and a parasol. And somehow she had de-aged and now looked eleven.

“Nope!” Ella said. “I have a limit here and lolita anything is off the table. Ewww-gross. Shame on you tknx for this sexist parody.”

Tknx said, “Sorry my dear protagonist, but as you can see, I only want the best for you!”

“I am sure next you were going to have us go to the beach and play beach volleyball in our bikinis. Right?”

“No comment.”

“Also inserting yourself as a character in this harem parody is far too meta.” Ella’s eyes flared and shoved tknx out of the story back into the real world. Where he hung his head in shame.

Ella turned back to the group. “I must refuse all of you and go to my destiny. For only that way can I truly harness the power of my chastity and avoid having to share a toothbrush when you forget yours.”
