《Phantom Transgression》Chapter 41

Two months later,
Ever since the raid had happened inside his residence, Phantom Being was very skeptical on whom to trust or not. His immediate effort to reduce evidences had worked pretty well.
For the last two months, he had been feeling safer than ever.
With Bob under arrest, Phantom Being and the man who had been controlling him had disappeared in the news.
He could not remember when television channels had spoken his name the last time.
It did not matter to him because he never craved attention.
Neither the man who controlled him did.
This is why he had been ordered to kill Camshron tonight.
Same old boss with a different order which Phantom Being was more than happy to perform.
Phantom Being had now changed his number and so had the caller who had been controlling him.
CIA-DSA had got to Phantom Being's number in a different way.
They had been collecting call records of all illegal gun sellers across the nation. And in all those calls, they had discovered a common number which belonged to Phantom Being.
Then they IT guys had peeled out Phantom Being's call records and had found a number by which his boss was telling him what to do.
To their luck, both numbers were untraceable and belonged to people who did not exist.
Still, his boss opted to not use the number ever again.
He just had called Phantom Being this morning, telling him why tonight was the perfect time to kill Camshron.
Camshron had been put in house arrest since last two months while he was being charged of minor offenses. Phantom Being knew well how the house arrest of CIA-DSA Agent was going on.
CIA was looking to clear him from all the charges but they didn’t want to make it obvious so they had managed house arrest for Nathan Camshron.

This way he could investigate to find Phantom Being while being a prisoner.
At this time, Camshron was in a different house.
If there is anyone else in the house with him then kill him as well. Phantom Being remembered the caller say.0
Phantom Being stood outside the house.
He just saw two cops walking in the area.
Whatever he had been told was true. Security was in its lowest form tonight.
Camshron took out a bottle of wine from cupboard of Mr. Hadfield's house.
He held glasses in one hand while bottle in another.
Camshron placed the glasses on table first and began filling them with liquor.
When the sound of wine filling up inside glass ended, Mr. Hadfield said, "Can I have a look at device on your leg?"
"It would be a horrible table manner to set foot on a dining table." Camshron scoffed.
Hadfield couldn’t keep his laughter inside him.
Camshron's phone rang.
"Sorry." Camshron hung the call by looking at it for a second.
"As a man under house arrest, you shouldn’t be going out like this." Mr. Hadfield said after sipping wine.
"Four more months and my house arrest will be over."
"CIA can afford a clean chit, don’t they?"
"I wouldn’t say that but they can make law forgiving."
Camshron's phone rang another time.
"I'm sorry." Camshron apologized and cut the call again.
Mr. Hadfield looked at his watch.
"I believe I am ruining your sleep time."
"No no!" Mr. Hadfield spoke fast.
"Then I think you can give me a couple of minutes."
"Why not?"
"Neither Mr. Fernsby not Mr. Meredink can help me in this one. So I am here, telling you something very important."
Mr. Hadfield gulped the last drop of wine.

"It's about Phantom Bieng." Nathan Camshron said, "In the court, I was watching everyone's expressions because I knew whoever is behind Phantom Being is a person with high reach." Camshron said while speaking the rest, "How foolish of me, I even thought Phantom Being was there."
"So what did you make out of it?" asked Mr. Hadfield.
"The person controlling Phantom Being is a VIP. And is somewhat of a politician."
Mr. Hadfield looked at his watch again.
"I'm sorry it has been more than two minutes-"
"I don’t mind." Mr. Hadfield interrupted, "Have you found Phantom Being's boss?"
"Yes. But I can't tell it to anyone other than you."
"Who is he?"
"Mr. Fernsby."
"What?!" Mr. Hadfield's eyelids were torn after listening to this.
"No. I was kidding."
Mr. Hadfield gave him a confused look and glanced at his watch again.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable talking to someone who has broken rules of house arrest?"
"Not at all."
"Then stop looking at your watch. Phantom Being got arrested in my house a minute ago." Camshron's expressions turned dire.
So did Mr. Hadfield's.
Camshron showed him Les' text message on his phone.
"I had left my device in Les' new apartment. With consent of CIA." Camshron said, "Following signals took him straight to cops in Les house."
Camshron called Les and said, "How is he?"
"Right now, vulnerable." Les answered, "He is someone I had heard of in my SWAT days. This guy had got training for NAVY fifteen years ago and had quit it despite of being the best performer of entire batch. I had heard this guy had rang the bell of shame with pride. Looks like he had done the training for being a killer, not a soldier."
"You hear it?" Camshron talked to Mr. Hadfield.
They could hear Phantom Being grunting and screaming at the officers.
"I got suspect on you when I first got in the embassy. There, when we checked the files, Haq's file was missing and so were all the papers. But you made a mistake. Haq comes before Harry and Hatter when put in alphabetical order. You jumbled the files by mistake and forgot to lock it back. So, Mr. Morris opened the door without using the keys. And before Haq's work's data was erased, only you were in the room." Camshron said, "And your high, six feet three, isn’t a coincidence either. You were the one man who had been controlling Phantom Being. He was your personal hitman-"
Nathan felt Hadfield was holding something under the table.
Camshron gulped in fear.
Hadfield's hands were shaking underneath the table.
"Les, looks like Mr. Hadfield has a gun pointed at my dick." Camshron said.
"How sure are you?" Les asked from the other end.
"Very." Camshron whispered, "His hands are trembling –"
Camshron touched the table by both of his hands and turned it.
The table flew towards Mr. Hadfield's face and knocked him down.
"What happened?" Les bellowed.
"I was wrong. He was dialing on his phone." Camshron said, "Send some cops upstairs. Till then, Mr. Hadfield can have a good look at my fake device."

Paternum: A Superhero Story
When Quinn finds an experimental superpower-granting costume in their parents’ attic, they didn’t expect to be drawn into a web of superhuman intrigue, but their discovery serves as the catalyst for that conspiracy to slowly unravel. At it’s heart, Paternum is an extended coming-of-age story for the main character as they become a superhero, in a world with more reasonable stakes and less powerful heroes than many superheroic worlds. Themes include what art means to different people, and what it means to be a patron, whether as a sponsor, a parent, or a supporter. I consider Paternum‘s primary influences to be the various versions of Spider-Man, J. C. McCrae’s own superhero story Worm, and Drew Hayes’ story SuperPowereds. I hope that fans of such stories can find something to enjoy in mine as well. Paternum is primarily hosted on my website (thevoidwrites.com) where it updates weekly in groups of scenes totalling approximately 2000 words. Here on Royal Road, it will update once daily with one scene at a time, but only after each act is completed on the home site - the next batch of updates is scheduled to begin on February 5th. There is a discord channel for discussion (discordapp.com/invite/QFMM6yA), and you can vote for Paternum on topwebfiction (topwebfiction.com/vote.php?for=paternum) as well. Finally, you can buy the first book of Paternum, The Swift Uplifting Rush, in a couple different ways - as an ebook through Amazon, or directly from me for a discounted price, or as a physical paperback from Amazon. Buying the book will give you access to Drawing Hands, an exclusive arc that won't ever be published on either my site or Royal Road.

Wilberforce
The seven worlds have been a place of war and carnage for hundreds of years. The strong enslave the weak and take over their world just to have some extra space. A race of demi-humans takes over the priceless first world for years. The humans grow tired of living in the lower worlds and challenge the demi-humans to war. Armad is an innocent bystander from the third world whose village is engulfed by the war. He doesn't care about ambitious humans or greedy demi-humans. All he wants is to save his dying mother. Will he be left alone to cater to his mother, or will the universe be cruel enough to stand against him? *** Rpg system has no stats or leveling up (not in the traditional way), but there are numbers. MC is strong from the word go and he has a specific goal. He's also learned many skills before the beginning of the novel, so don't expect a murderhobo for levels. That being said, the mc will grow stronger and will have become so strong (not overpowered) by the end of the first book. There are many races besides humans but they are not the main focus of the story, so they will only appear when the plot involves them. This novel is dedicated to the late William Wilberforce. *** I made the cover picture from picart. Original images don't belong to me. If you are the owner and you want it removed just pm me.
