Yuna never had the chance to meet him in her past life so she had no clue of the relationship between her father and him. She wondered how they met and how they became so close. Maybe it was fate like he’d mentioned, but she didn’t believe in it. She’d rather believe that all the choices that were made were her own free will. It would be depressing to think that everything in life resorted to a fate instead of free will.
