The annihilation of all life. Without fanfare, without missiles or lasers or plasma beams. No messages, negotiations or calls to surrender. A civilization seizes to exist.

The push of a button, and a sun collapses on itself.

Turning away from the newly birthed black hole, the Guild ship sails away before it is captured by the event horizon of the singularity.

Behind the ship; planetary orbits collapse as they are pulled inwards.

In the last moments; a flash of light. A last hope.
