I was walking peacefully to the kitchen when suddenly someone jumped out and scared the socks off me!
"What the hell? Neil!" I screeched as he grinned.
"That's right. The one and only," he said proudly and I rolled my eyes and shoved past him.
"Whatcha doin' Harp?" He asked annoyingly. I huffed and opened the fridge.
"Aw c'mon. Don't ignore your favourite brother," he said shoving my shoulder. I looked back and raised an eyebrow.
"You're not my brother," I stated matter-of-factly and he instantly frowned.
"Don't say that again Harp. I mean it," he said grimly. I always wondered why they hated when I say that. I mean I get it, we have been around each other for our whole lives, but they tease me so much! I sighed and shook my head but as I turned around he put his hand on my shoulder and spun me around.
"Say I'm your brother," he said firmly with a harsh expression on his face. I shuddered and nodded my head.
"You're my brother, I'm your sister and I'm sorry," I said shakily and he promptly lit up and smiled.
"That wasn't hard, now was it?" He asked teasingly and I rolled my eyes but still a little cautious. My brothers can be really scary when they want to be, not only are they intimidating towards others, but me too.
"Whatever," I said turning back to the fridge. I pulled out some leftovers from last night, heated it up, and ate it on the kitchen island.
After I was done eating I sat on the couch in the living room and turned on the TV. I switched to Netflix and started watching 'Jessie.'
"Yo, what's on little one?" I heard Drake say from behind me, before jumping over the couch and landing next to me.

"Ugh, boring," he said stretching out boring. He grabbed the remote from my hand and switched it to a TV show I didn't know.
"Hey! Go watch TV in your room!" I said snatching the remote from him and putting it under my butt.
He gave me a disgusted look, "You're glad I'm not Matthew who's desperate enough to go under there." I felt my cheeks heating up.
"That's so gross Drake!" I bellowed at him and he rolled his eyes before getting up and disappearing into the kitchen.
I decided to listen to music so I got up and went to the kitchen table to look for my earbuds and I saw them. I grasped them and plugged them into my phone.
I put on 'Roses' by The Chainsmokers. I know, I know what you're thinking. Just because it was released three years ago, doesn't mean it's a good song. I do this thing where I listen to a song and play it every single time.
I didn't even realize that I started singing out loud since I was so into the music. I just thought no one was in the room, so I started singing.
When the song ended, I took out my earbuds but when I stood up I turned around to see the twins, Aaron, and Noah gawking at me.
I jumped, "What? Is something wrong?"
"No... It's just your voice," Aaron said and I gave them a confusing look.
"What do you mean?" I asked. They exchanged looks before staring back at me.
"Have you ever listened to yourself singing?" Noah asked warily, and I shrugged.
"No. The music was pretty loud," I said. They slowly nodded your head.
"Maybe you should hear your voice when you sing," Leo suggested and I furrowed my eyebrows. Before I could ask why he beat me to it.

"Your singing voice... It's nice," Lee said looking like he's having a hard time complimenting me.
I rolled my eyes, "Thanks. I'll go listen to it now."
"Wait! Why don't you sing it right here, right now? We'll get everyone to come downstairs right now," Lee said in a snap of a finger they're not in my sight.
I sighed. My voice couldn't actually be that good, I mean I like singing and all, but when I'm older I actually want to be a writer.
Never a singer.
I've always had a weird obsession with writing on my laptop and not on paper. At least it's weird to me.
I also really like reading. Sometimes, teachers got mad at me for reading in class while they're teaching a lecture. At parents meeting, my teachers have mentioned that to my parents and believe it or not, grounded me from reading books. I thought reading books helps your knowledge on vocabulary!
Which I thought, but when I said that to my parents, they're like:
"Not when you read 24/7. Also not when it's affecting your grades."
I had no comeback when they said that.
I have limited my reading like I forced my hand to put my book in my locker, and when it's free time or whatever I run to my locker and start reading my book.
Reading has also affected my social status. I don't communicate with people because whenever they try to make a conversation with me, I either don't pay attention, or I just ignore them. Either or, they get mad when I do that and walk away.
Not like I'm complaining or anything.
I heard footsteps from the stairs, I turned and saw my brothers coming down the stairs.
"Alright, this better be worth my time. I have a lot to do," Conner said bored. Drake snorted.
"Like what?"
"Stuff."
Cue the quietness.
"I brought my Bluetooth speaker. What song was that? Here also take my microphone," Lee said and I raised an eyebrow.
"Why do you have a microphone?" I asked curiously. I saw his cheeks redden slightly.
"N-none of your business. What's the song?" He stuttered and I smiled.
"Roses, by the Chainsmokers," I told him and he nodded and started typing away on his phone.
I looked at the microphone. Turning it on, I touched the tip of it and it made a sound. I said check into it and it worked.
"Is this it?" Lee asked and played Roses. I nodded and he plugged the Bluetooth wire into his phone. The rest were on the couches either talking or on their phones.
"Okay," I said into the microphone, "put away your phones, please." They did just that and stared at me. I nodded towards Lee and he pressed play and jumped on the couch between Leo and Aaron.
I took a deep breath.
"Taking it slow, but it's not typical,
He already knows that my love is fire.
His heart was a stone but then his hands roamed,
I turned him to gold and it took him higher!
Well, I'll be your daydream, I'll be your favourite things.
We could be beautiful!
Get drunk on the good life, I'll take you to paradise.
Say you'll never let me go."
I decided to end it there and damn was I surprised. I didn't know I was good, like wow. My brother's reactions were absolutely priceless! They were all gaping at me.
I found my new talent.
