Rudra: Baby

Whilst saying in a sing-song voice, He gently kept his finger on Chutki's shoulder and wiggled her in attempt to waken her. The angel was still fast asleep, in no mood to go to preschool

Bhavya: pata nahi kese tum apne bache ko utha payega

Anika: pata nahi problem kya hai, preschool kyu nahi jaana chaati?

Anika brings the blue dress from the cupboard and lays it on the bed

Bhavya: shayad isse sirf sona hai

Rudra: lekin school bhi jaana hai

Anika goes to the bed side and lifts her up. She hugs Chutki and pats her back whilst the baby clings on to her Mumma

Anika: Chutki, meri pyaari si nanhi si jaan

Rudra: Bhaabi hum breakfast lagate

Bhavya: haa, chall Rudra

They both go

Anika: kya hua meri pari ko?

Chutki: Mumma I want I-sceem

Anika: baby wants ice-cream? Okay, school ke baad mein tujhe ice-cream khilaoongi. Lekin shayad aaj tujhe Khannah Mamu ya Ramesh Uncle (driver) ke saath aana

Chutki: I want Mumma

Anika: i know baby, lekin Om Chaachu ko meeting hai, aur Gauri Maasi ko akele nahi chod sakte

Chutki nods and allows her Mumma to change her clothes. She drops her off at the school

Anika: excuse me

She calls out one of the staff members

Woman: Mrs Anika?

Anika: Divya ma'am, aap abhi bhi Chanda ko padhatin?

Divya: Ji, aapki beti bohot bright aur intelligent hai, I must say. Kya aaj voh half day keh liye yaha hogi?

Anika: nahi, 2 bajhe ke kareeban aayenge hum. Shayad driver hoga, kyunki meri behn 9 months pregnant hai, toh wait karna hoga uski pati ke aane ke liye

Divya: of course

Anika: thank you ma'am

Divya: kohi problem nahi

Anika: kaha gayab ho gayi? Aab uski aadat hai, luka chuppi khelna

Divya: class mein notice kiya thora, Chanda books ke peeche chupti

They chuckle and Anika looks here and there. They finally see Chanda hiding behind the tree trunk.

Anika: aaja meri baby, Mumma ko bolo bye bye

Chanda: bye bye Mumma, Shee you shoon (see you soon)

Anika leaves, giving a big kiss and hug to her daughter and waving bye. She reaches back to the Mansion and sees Gauri standing near the door

Anika: Gauri!

She runs to her and makes her sit on the nearest sofa

Gauri: kya hua Di?

Anika: tu kyu uth gayi? Meine kaha tha mein jaldi aaoungi?

Gauri: mujhe tora pyaas lagri thi, toh Khannah ko dhoond rhi thi

Anika: Rudy kaha hai?

Gauri: voh, Bhavya ke per mein moch aagaya

Anika: Bhavya ke per mein moch?

Gauri: aab aap parrot ban ga ya ki meri baate ko copy kari?

Anika: nahi toh. Acha chall, mein tumhare liye chai banati

Gauri: thanks Di

She cheers and lets Anika help her walk to the kitchen. Quickly making the tea, she sits beside Gauri as she shows her elder sister the dresses they ordered

Anika: yeh toh bohot ache hai, bohot sundar lagegi

Gauri: dekho meine similar kind ka order kiya, Chutki ke liye bhi

Anika: awwww, itne cute lagege saath mein

Gauri: haa. Chutki mujhe bataari thi, usse pehle baby ke saath baat karna, saare toys share karna hai

Anika: bohot excited hai

Gauri: Di please pakore bhi banao

Anika: theek hai Gauri

She begins making, mixing the coating then frying then in oil

Gauri: aab bade bhaaiya ke tarah Okive oil use karti?

Anika: nahi, usme telh kar voh mazza nahi aata

Rudra: kya chal raha yaha?

Rudra comes with Bhavya, who immediately takes a seat

Anika: per kesa hai?

Bhavya: theek hai Bhaabi

Rudra: pakore!

He exclaims and rushed to taste them. Rudra brings it to his mouth then looks at Bhavya who is sitting with puppy eyes

Rudra: acha Bhavya, mein tujhe khilaounga

She smiles as he lovingly feeds her

Gauri looks at them before one is stuffed in her mouth. She grabs the hand and pulls the person in front of herself

Gauri: Om?

Anika: Om tu jaldi aagaya?

Om: exhibition canceled tha, aur message dena bhool gaye

Bhavya: oh, well kam se kam aap Bhaabi ko pakore khila sakte

Om: of course, vahi toh mein kara hoon, hai naa Gauri?

She smiles and also feeds him from the plate

Anika: Om tujhe Chai peena?

Om: haa Bhaabi please

Rudra: mere liye coffee please

Bhavya: tu coffee peene wale hai?

Rudra: mujhe wide awake hona, tere mood swings ke vajhe se

He mutters under his breath before going to take more pakoras

Rudra: khaalo khaalo

Stuffing one in his wife's mouth, Rudra goes and feeds his Bhaabi

Rudra: aap bhi khalo

Anika: haa haa, khaari

Her eyes catch a glimpse of her watch which reads the time 1:58

Anika: mujhe Chutki ko pick up karna hoga, chall mein aati

Rudra: theek hai Bhaabi

She grabs her phone from the kitchen table and walks to the mansion gate

Anika: Khannah Bhaaiya, driver gaya kya?

Khannah: abhi nahi, bas jaara hai

Anika: thank you

With that she hurries out and gets the driver just as he is about to sit in the car

Anika: Ramesh Uncle

Ramesh: Ji ma'am?

Anika: mein chale jaati Chutki ko leker aane

Ramesh: okay Ma'am

She takes the keys from him and sits in the car. In about 5 minutes she reaches the school and sees only few children there. Anika opens the car door and shuts it before going closer to the school entrance. Her eyes scan the children for her own daughter, when the teacher approaches her.

Divya: Mrs Anika, aap yaha?

Anika: ji, Chanda kaha hai, mujhe usse nazar nahi aari

Her eyes are still searching but her attempts is brought back to the teacher

Divya: voh toh chale gayi

The teachers response plasters a perplexed look on her face

Anika: matlab?

Divya: kuch 2-3 mint pehle driver aaya. Uske saath gayi

Anika: lekin meine driver ko nahi bejha

Divya: shayad aapke vaha se jaane se pehle gaya

Anika: nahi, meine khud driver ko roka aur vahi gaadi use liya

She did stop the driver, then who picked Chutki up?

Anika: ek mint

She calls Khannah just to confirm

Anika: Khannah Bhaaiya aapne driver kyu bejha?

Khannah: meine kisi ko bhi nahi bejha

Anika: are you sure?

Khannah: haa, kyu kuch hua kya?

Anika: Chutki school mein nahi hai, kisi ne already usse pick up kiya

Khanna: mein search karta

Anika: theek hai, thank you

She ends the call and turns back to the teacher

Divya: mein aapko phone karungi agar mujhe kuch pata chal jaata Chanda ke baare mein

Anika: thank you

Anika worries and goes to sit in her car

Anika: kaha ho sakti meri bachi?

She thinks for a while, taping the steering wheel with her nails

Anika: ghaar jaati, shayad vaha ponch gayi hogi

With that, her foot presses down on the acceleration and she speeds back home. Calling out, she tries to find her daughter in the mansion

Anika: Chutki, Chutki baby dekho Mumma is here

Her vision blurs slightly due to tears, but she doesn't let them fall yet. She's obviously worried, but reassures herself that her daughter is fine.

Om: Bhaabi, kya hua?

He asks, confused why she is screaming

Anika: Om, Chutki ghar aayi?

Om: nahi, aap gayi thi lene

Anika: voh school mein nahi thi

Om: kya? Ese kese nahi thi?

Anika: driver ko meine khud rokha, toh voh nahi gayi

Om thinks for a while

Om: Sonam ko phone karo, shayad unke driver ke saath gayi

Anika's trembling hands pull out her phone from her pocket and she dials the number

Anika: hello Sonam

Sonam: toh finally apni behn ki yaad ayi....

Anika: Sonam Chutki tere saath hai?

Sonam: nahi, mein aur Shraddha ghar per hai

Anika: Chutki ko school se leker aane ke liye tune kohi driver bejha?

Sonam: no, Di what's going on?

Anika: Chutki pata nahi kaha hai

Sonam: oh my god, mein abhi logo ko poochti. Agar kuch pata chala toh zaroor bataoungi mein

Anika: thank you Sonu

Sonam: aap rohye maat, Chutki mil jayegi

Anika wipes the tears that left her eyes and ends the call

Anika: nahi Om, unke paas nahi

Om: Shivaay ko phone karo

Anika: back-to-back meetings hai, uska phone switched off hoga, subha bola mujhse

Rudra: try toh karo Bhaabi

Rudra walks to them

Om: Bhavya Gauri?

Rudra: room mein, taking rest. Don't worry Bhaabi Chutki yahi kahi hogi

Khannah approaches them

Khannah: Anika Di, humare drivers mein se kohi nahi tha

Anika: kaun ho sakta phir

Rudra takes the phone from his ear

Rudra: Bhaaiya ka phone busy hai

Om: Anika Bhaabi soch voh kiske saath jaa sakti?

Anika: Neha, uski classmate Neha ka birthday tha pichle hafte lekin hum nahi jaa paare. Uske saath ho sakti?

Om keeps his hands on Anika's, as they wouldn't stop shaking. Then he carefully took the phone from her and searched for the contact number

Anika: uski Maa ka naam Mrs...... haa, Mrs Anaya Patel

After hearing her slight stuttering, Om dials the number and the call is soon answered

Om: hello, is this Mrs Anaya Patel?

Anaya: ji bolri

Om: mein Mr Omkara Singh Oberoi, aapki beti Neha ki dost ka Chaachu

Anaya: Chanda ki? Ji mujhe pata hai. Kuch kaam tha?

Om: kya Chanda aapke saath gayi?

Anaya: nahi, Neha ne poocha agar play date arrange karna aur Chanda ne bola voh apni Maa se pooch legi

Om: actually Chanda school mein nahi thi jab hum gaye usse uthane

Anaya: lekin jab mein Neha ko lene gayi thi, voh vahi thi. Bola driver ki wait kari thi

Om: aap kab gaye?

Anaya: 3:00 hum pahunch gaye

Om: okay

Anaya: mein aapko phone karungi agar kuch pata chal gaya

Om: yes please, thank you

He ends the call

Om: no

Her legs become unable to support her weight as she feels like collapsing to the ground. Before she hits the cold floor, Her two devars come and support her like pillars holding the infrastructure of a building

Om: Bhaabhi, sambhal aapne aap ko

Rudra: Choti Maa ke paas bohot friends hoge, shayad un mein se kisi ek ke ghar gayi hogi?

No-one would just take their child like that, without informing the parents, but Om wanted to keep the hope alive that Chutki was with someone they know, safe. Anika picks the phone from the table and facetimes Pinky. She answers the call and then goes to keep some cloth materials in a draw. She speaks, unknown of the the matter at this point.

Pinky: Anika mein tujhe phone karne wali thi. Humne booking kiya aane ke liye....

She stops as she takes a seat near the screen and notices Anika's teary eyes

Pinky: Anika, kya hua?

By this time Jhanvi also came to say hi to them, but silently took a seat on noticing the seriousness in Pinky's tone of voice.

Anika: aap please mujhe saare dost ke contacts bejho, jiske bache, Chutki ke friends hai

Om: Choti Maa Chutki school mein nahi thi jab Anika Bhaabi gayi thi collect karne ke liye

The two ladies were also shocked. Something like this had never happened before

Pinky: kya matlab? Kohi dost ke saath gayi kya?

Anika: voh pata nahi

Jhanvi: acha tum rona maat, Om mein numbers bejh thi

Om: ji Mom

Pinky: Anika tum roh maat. Strongs rakhna hoga

Rudra carefully pulls Anika onto his chest to comfort her

Pinky: police ko bataya? Shivaay kaha hai?

Rudra: police ko nahi batay, abhi officer ko phone karunga

Jhanvi: humare tickets hai aane ke liye, voh hum prepone karke jaldi aayenge

At that moment Shakti and Tej pop into the room with a message

Shakti: Pinky tickets cancelled hai

Tej: England ka weather ka yeh panga hai.

They notices the worried faces, then their eyes lay one the screen. Anika is crying and Om is in the background, pacing with a phone against his ear

Tej: kuch hua kya?

Pinky: Chutki gayab ho gayi

Tej: what? Ese kese?

Anika: Maa agar kohi bhi aapko phone karta toh please hume bataye

Jhanvi: zaroor beti

She hangs the call and Anika turns to Om. He cups her face and makes her stop crying.

Om: Anika Bhaabi, aap strong ho, fighter ho, toh aap kyu roh re? Choti Maa ne bola tha, rone se kuch nahi hoga. Hume dhyaan rakhna Chutki ko dhoondhne mein, okay?

Anika: haa Om

Quickly her hands wipe the tears that left her eyes as sh straightens herself up. She then notices Ranveer and Priyanka enter from the corner of her eye.

Anika: Ranveer

She gets up snd rushes to him

Anika: meri beti....

Priyanka: hume pata chal gaya Bhaabo, aap fikhar maat ki jiye

Ranveer: Meine school ke CCTV footage request kiya, abhi aayega

Priyanka: Shivaay Bhaaiya?

She turns to her brother for an answer

Om: aaya nahi abhi tak, phone bhi nahi lag raha

Ranveer: footage aagaya

They all crowd around the iPad in his hand and curiously watch the video recording. The clip clearly portrays Chutki entering a grey car, but the driver didn't exit the car, not even to open the door for her

Khannah: Anika Di yeh humare cars mein se nahi hai. 2-3 mahine pehle humne saare cars exchange kiya, black Mercedes ke liye. Sirf ek gadi joh Silver hai, Shivaay Sir leker gaya office ke liye

Anika: toh humare drivers mein se nahi hai, yah gadi chori bhi nahi hui

Ranveer: I'll send this clip to higher authorities, voh iss driver ka pata lagayenge

Priyanka: Bhaabi aap relax, Bhavya aur Gauri Bhaabi kaha hai?

Rudra: andhar

Priyanka: mein jaake unhe dekhti

She hurries off

Ranveer: aapne missing child ka case file kiya, documentation ke liye?

Anika: abhi nahi

Ranveer: toh aap aaye, station mein kar vayenge

Rudra: Om aap jao, mein Bhaabi ke saath rukthta, Bhaaiya ke aane ke liye

Om nods his head in agreement

Ranveer: challe?

They also both leave and Anika messages various people. She gets no positive reply, only people saying they will inform her if they get to know anything. Rudra notices Shivaay walk in.

Rudra: Shivaay Bhaaiya?

His voice trails off at the end but Anika heard this and runs to her husband who is walking in from the entrance.

Anika: Shivaay, please bolo ki Chutki aapke saath hai. Pata nahin, school mein nahi thi jab mein gayi thi vaha. Please tell me aapko pata hai ki voh kaha hai

Shivaay could only vaguely understand a few words of what his wife said to him, since all the words were messed and sounded like a single blur to him. Though, he could sense the fear and tension on her face, which stated there was a serious matter. Hoping to get some sort of clear explanation he looked at Rudra to extract information.

Rudra: Jab Bhaabi school gayi thi, Chutk ko dhoondhne ke liye, voh vaha nahi thi. CCTV dekh ker pata challa ki voh eek gadi mein gayi thi, lekin pata nahi kaha aur kiske saath

Hearing this, Shivaay hugs Anika tighter. He knows exactly what she is thinking and needs to put her mind at ease.

Shivaay: Police?

Rudra: Om gaya Ranveer ke saath

Shivaay: School?

Rudra: unhe nahi pata, unko subha se laga driver aayega

Shivaay: friends?

Rudra: unke paas bhi nahi

Shivaay: Mom Dad?

Anika: contacts diya lekin kuch pata nahi chala

Shivaay: we'll find her

Anika: please Shivaay

Shivaay: don't worry Anika, shaant ho jao

He kisses her forehead and moves out with Khannah. Anika goes to her room and phones as many people she can think of. Hours pass and the blue sky darkens to become black. Unfortunately there was no sign or word of the young girl. Her whereabouts were unknown, and clues extracted from the CCTV footage all lead to dead ends. By this time, Gauri and Bhavya had got to know about the matter, and all began stressing a little

Anika: Om, Gauri ko leker hospital mein admit ho jao. Yaha ka mahaul unke liye acha nahin hai aur uppar se it's the last month

Om: lekin....

Anika: nahi Om, yeh best hoga

Shivaay: haa Om, kal tu jaa, we'll keep u informed

After a while, with much struggle, Shivaay got Anika to the room

Shivaay: tu so jao, mujhe kaam hai

Shivaay's request angered Anika. Like, did he actually expect her to rest when they don't know where their daughter is or if she's safe?

Anika: ese kese so jao mein? Meri beti gayab ho gayi

She snapped back at him, expressing slight anger in her voice.

Shivaay: voh meri beti bhi hai, okay? I'll make some phone calls as well

Anika: mein nahi sone wali hoon, jab tak meri beti mere paas nahi hoti, jab tak mein usse dhoondhti nahi

Shivaay: Anika listen....

Before she could hear anything else, her hands grabbed the car keys from the table and she ran out. Of course Shivaay chased her, but by the time he reached the mansion gate, she was speeding down from the road. Shivaay was about to go after her when Khannah stopped him

Khannah: Sir rukhiye

Shivaay: ese kese jaane do isse?

Khannah: Anika Di apne dimag tanda karle ayegi

Shivaay: aur agar galat kadam leli tho? Nahi, mujhe jaana hoga. Pehle Chutki gayab aur aab Anika ko bhi jaana hai?

Khannah: Sir mujh per bharosa rakhiye, voh sahi salamat vaapis aayegi

Shivaay: kya karu mein Khannah? Mein bhi darah hoon lekin Anika ke liye mujhe strong hona hai. You know she's my little princess

He rubs his temple and sighs loudly

Khannah: Ji Sir, aap please araam karo aur subha kuch karna hoga. Vese meine already police se baat karke ek team bejha, bachi ko dhoondne ke liye. Don't worry Sir, humari Chanda vaapis aayegi

Shivaay: mein so nahi paayega

Khannah: Sir I request you, bohot shaam hai aur andhere mein usse dhoond nahi paayege hum. Subha chalte

Somehow Shivaay's heavy eyes close when he reaches his room, and he drifts off. The night was spent uncomfortably as expected but at least he got some rest and energy to again search for his daughter.
