Olivia sat in the living room next to Charlie and Bella. Lucy stood in front of them holding pieces of papers. "I suspect that you told her?" Lucy looks at CHarlie who nodded. "I did tell her that she is adopted and that her biological father wants to see her," Charlie says and Lucy nodded.
"But you didn't tell her why," Lucy says and Olivia looked towards Charlie confused. "What didn't you tell me?" Olivia asks raising her eyebrow at Charlie. "Your biological father is on his death bed," Lucy says looking at Olivia. She wasn't holding back. "Then why does he want to see me all of a sudden?" Olivia asks it made no sense to her why he wanted to meet her now when he had her whole life to make contact with her.
"He wanted to meet you on your twelfth birthday, but Charlie and Renee said no. He tried again on your fourteenth birthday and they still refused him, and this year he wants to meet you and seeing as you are sixteen you are allowed to make the choice if you want to meet him or not," Lucy says and Olivia nodded.
"I would really like to meet him," Olivia says and Lucy smiled. "I'll make the arrangements. Charlie just needs to sort thig out with the school, seeing as you will be missing classes and test. We can arrange for you to do the online," Lucy says and Charlie frowned at her. "I will head to the school tomorrow and sort everything you. When do you want to leave?" Charlie asks Lucy.
"In a few days, I just want Olivia to talk to her teacher and get any projects she will need and then we leave on Saturday," Lucy says and Charlie nodded.

+Next day+
After the talk with Lucy, the previous day, Lucy went to her motel and Olivia and CHarlie talked about how they would handle Olivia being in New York. They made an agreement that Olivia would call them at least once a day, just to tell them how she is doing.
Charlie was in the headmaster's office talking to him and informing him about Olivia's situation, while Olivia was to talk to all her teachers. Some instantly gave her the projects and homework which they will be giving out. Others said that they will send it to her through emails.
"So why are you talking to all the teachers?" Jessica suddenly asked Olivia during lunch. "Um . . . I'm going to New York for a few weeks," Olivia says and Jessica narrowed her eyes at Olivia. "Why?" Jessica asks again. "TO meet my biological father," Olivia says as she stole a fry from Mike's plate.
"Wait, you're adopted?" Angela asks and Olivia nodded. "Yes, I found out a few weeks ago," Olivia answered smiling as she stole fromMike's plate again causing MIke to glare at her before smiling. "Why are we only finding this out now?" Jessica asks looking at Olivia.
"Oh, yeah I didn't want to tell anyone. I only told Mike," Olivia says laughing as Mike started to make weird facial expressions. "Why?" Jessica asks causing Olivia to look at her. "Jess, I was my news to shared with whom I wanted to," Olivia says standing up when the bell rang and she made her way towards art class.
"Olivia," Mrs Mavis smiled as Olivia entered the classroom. "Hello, Mrs Mavis," Olivia smiled and walked to her seat. She got all her painting utensils ready next to her and started to work on her painting. "I hear that you will be leaving us for a few weeks," Mrs Mavis says standing behind Olivia.

"Sadly yes. I'm going to New York for a few weeks," Olivia says and Mrs Mavis nodded. "I understand that you must go, but I am just worried that your painting won't be finished in time," Mrs Mavis says.
"My dad talked to the headmaster, because I was concerned about it as well. He told my dad that I would be able to do it over the weekends when I get back, and in my free periods," Olivia says recalling the message her father sent her during lunch.
Mrs Mavis nodded. "Well then, the day you leave I will put the painting behind my desk so no one can take a peek at it," Mrs Mavis said and Olivia smiled at the teacher. "Thank you so much, Mrs Mavis," Olivia says and Mrs Mavis smiled her.
The day continued as normal and when Olivia got home, Charlie had already taken her suitcases from the attic. He knew that she would want to make sure that she has everything. "Thank you," Olivia says kissing Charlie on the cheek. Charlie just smiled at her.
Over the next few days, Olivia packed her bag with everything she would need and a few other things. They were going to fly to new york from Seattle, which is fine with Olivia since she didn't want to be stuck in a car for two days.
+Saturday Morning+
Lucy arrived at the Swan residence around seven on Saturday morning. It would be a an hour or so' drive to Seattle and then they had to get to the airport and go through all the terminals, get their baggage checked in and find their seats all before noon.
Olivia stood in front of Charlie before the rental car of Lucy. "I'll miss you," Olivia says kissing Charlie on the cheek. "And tell Jake when I come back the two of us need to hang out," Olivia says and Charlie nodded. Bella wasn't there to say goodbye to Olivia as she has been up in her room trying to find out what Edward Cullen is hiding from her.
"Olivia, we need to leave," Lucy says and Olivia nodded. She gave Charlie one more hug before climbed into the car and Lucy started to drive.
Olivia wondered who her biological father is and why Lucy was being so secretive about his identity and why she hardly says anything to Lucy about the man. It all made her mind wander as she started to think about what he did for a living and why his life was so secretive.

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun.
