The beach.
Harry was getting the most sun, just laying in the sand on a towel while Liam went swimming with Louis and Niall to keep an eye on them.
By the third day on the beach, Niall was burnt to a crisp, deeming their day a lazy day to recover from the exposure to the sun they usually didn't get as often in London.
Louis had freckles dotting over his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. His shoulders had been sprinkled by them too, and Harry loved it. He thought it was the cutest thing: his baby kissed by the sun.
"You're such a cute little boy, aren't you?" Harry cooed, fueling Louis' little space even more than the previous days had.
Louis hummed happily before shyly nuzzling his face into Harry's neck.
"Niall got sunburnt yesterday, love. Are you okay?" Harry asked, worried, knowing if Louis was sunburnt he would have to deal with his crankiness. Louis almost always got sick after being in the sun for days on end, hence the reason he had to quit playing footie with the others.
"Yes, reapplied four times, daddy."
"Why didn't Ni, Lou?" Harry questioned.
"He did, he's just Irish so obviously he's going to burn," Louis said.
Harry laughed at Louis' honesty and nodded in agreement.
Louis had already gotten spanking twice on the trip. Once for giving Liam attitude, then for yelling at Harry for making him get out of the water. He didn't want more so of course, he was quite the suck up to Harry: even more so than usual.
Liam came from down the hall, an empty bottle of aloe in his hand, seeing Louis and Harry on the couch.
"I have to run to the store to pick up more aloe for Ni. Please make sure he doesn't try to get out of bed, I think he got some type of sun poisoning," Liam sighed. He was supposed to be relaxing with his boyfriend but somehow he got stuck being stressed instead.

"Liam, calm down, bub. He'll be okay by tomorrow. Maybe we'll go walk around to some shops so we're not just stuck outside all day, yeah?" Louis offered, being able to see Liam's agitation.
"That sounds great, Louis. Thank you."
When Liam left, the house was quiet until a phone rang. Recognizing the ringtone, Louis went to fetch his phone from his room.
'Mom' flashed across the screen.
Quickly, he slid his finger to answer the call.
"Hi, Mum!"
"Hi, Lou! How's the beach?"
"Good, Niall got super sunburnt so today we're having a lay in but it's been very fun."
"Good, hun." Jay's voice was soft and sweet. Louis loved his mum, most of the problems actually originating from his father. Loving her was easy and Louis had always been very close to her.
"I called to tell you and Liam that your father and I are coming home soon. We'll be back next week, actually, and we'd like it if the house was cleaned up and if you guys would take a few days off of school for some family time before we have to leave to Australia for a business deal."
Louis agreed and promised to inform Liam before filling his mum in on everything revolving around Harry. He hadn't talked to her in quite some time.
Louis hung up the phone and went back into the living room to see Liam unpacking things for Niall.
"Mum and dad are coming back next week. They want us to stay home from school so we can have some family time," Louis informed, just as he had promised.
"Oh, I was wondering why dad called but my hands were too full to answer the phone."
Louis nodded, sitting back down with Harry and snuggling into his side.

Harry had only met his parents as Liam's friend and Louis was actually quite worried that his father would say something slick about it. He knew his mum wouldn't mind, if anything, she's very happy for him. He couldn't say the same for his dad.
Liam wasn't out to either one of their parents. He knew his mum probably knew but he didn't want to disappoint the man he looked up to.
He knew next week would come fast. Something would most likely go wrong and Harry would be stuck tending to Louis for his mental stability. Niall would feel uncomfortable.
Everything could and would go wrong.
