hello everyone.

i haven't posted in this book in a year or maybe longer so you may be wondering what this is.

i'm a human being who makes mistakes, like many people do. i think it's hard to realize that even writers say dumb things and sometimes things don't sound the way you want them to.

in chapter eleven of this book, i referred to Louis sitting with his legs crossed (like criss-cross applesauce) as sitting "indian style."

an avid reader of all of my books, and someone who usually interacts with my posts, reached out and said how saying that in my story could seem offensive.

i'm so sorry if anyone has been offended by that description. my intention was to make something that's a little hard to explain in a story more "formal" by trying to use a phrase i thought most people would know and relate to.

i've since changed it, based on some recommendations from the comments and i truly feel ignorant to my own story.
