"Full-House!" I exclaimed and the rest of them groan in response. They placed their cards down in defeat as I collected the biddings. We weren't bidding real money, just monopoly money I scavenged from the board game with several missing pieces. In fact, when I was five, I remembered shoving up a tiny silver boot figurine up Hajime's nose. I lodged it too far in and it got stuck there. One trip to the hospital and a screaming Hajime later, it eventually came out. A horrific night to remember.
I will never look at monopoly the same again...
As I collect the paper bills, I gaze at all my friends I've made from training camp. I invited them over to my house for board games in celebration of nationals. All of them chit chatted away like a bunch of birds, unable to contain their laughter. Though I was enjoying my time with them, I had this heavy feeling in my chest weighing me down. (F/N). She always popped up in my head.
I feel guilty for having fun without her but knowing her, she wouldn't want me to wallow from her absence.
"Damn Mika you're good at this" Kuroo observed as he took a sip of his yakult, disrupting my thoughts.
"And I thought I was good at games..." Kenma mumbled as he slid another monopoly bill to me.
"Hehe, three in a row suckaaasss" I said in a sing-song tune. I stack the bills up and start fanning myself with the money.
"How did you get so good anyway?" Toma asked cheerfully as she ate from a bowl of BBQ chips. She licked her fingers and grinned widely with food stuck in her teeth.
"Oi, I almost gotcha Mika." Bokuto butted in as he slammed his cards down, displaying a straight. He had an arm around Toma who pushed him away for interrupting her question.
This is nice. Bokuto and Toma's relationship hasn't wavered since. I'm so happy for them. More importantly, I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
I smile at Tsukishima who sat there with a bored expression. He wasn't super open to the idea of Yamaguchi not being here, but he was undoubtedly willing to go knowing that I was hosting. Our eyes meet briefly and I catch a small grin forming on his lips.
"Heh, I played a bit with Terushima" I smirked and Tsukki gathers the cards to ignore my comment. He stacks them skillfully and runs his fingers through the cards one by one.
"Ah, how did you even meet this guy anyway..." Tsukki asked nonchalantly as he shuffled the cards again. It made a satisfying swooshing sound in his long fingers. He failed to make direct eye contact with me, concealing his jealousy.
"Ah don't worry beb. I just met him on Tinder" I teased as I quickly peck his cheek, "I'm going to get more soda in the fridge. Anyone want?"
A few hands shot up and I kept count before making my way to the kitchen. Opening the fridge, the cold air hit me like a gentle breeze. It was refreshing on my warm cheeks. The sun was blazing hot and the air conditioner was on full blast. Reaching into the fridge, I grab a few drinks when my cellphone rang all of a sudden. Reaching into my jean shorts, I prop up the phone with my shoulder scrunched up to my ear.
"Moshi Moshi!"
The clatter of aluminum cans on the ceramic floor makes the rest of my friends turn around in surprise. The fizzy drinks pool around my feet in a variety of colours. The cold sensation didn't even phase me as I listened intently to Suga's every word. He was a panicking mess but calm at the same time. Strange combination but, it was likely of Suga. He was the glue of the team, keeping all of us in or order with (F/N). Holding the phone with two hands, I listened closely to what he had to say.

"Miks are you okay?" Tsukishima asked with concern. He heads over to the kitchen and gently places a hand on my waist. He notices the mess on the floor and retrieves a mop from nearby.
'Please Mika, you have to help me. I wouldn't ask for anyone else if it wasn't this important. I trust you.' Suga pleaded through the phone.
"We gotta go"
~
"Almost got it!" I exclaimed as I hover the cherry on top of the decorative frosting. My eyes almost criss cross from the amount of concentration.
"SUGOI!!! Yams you're so good at baking!" Yachi awed, making me blush profusely. She admires my hard work as she gazes up and down the cake. Tip toeing on the pink stool, I stick out my tongue and say to myself,
You've got this Yams... Don't mess this upppp
"Couldn't have done it without you." I smiled brightly.
Baking with Yachi was the best thing ever. That and dating her is the best thing ever. She is my everything.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Put the cherry so I can take a picture!" she holds up a camera and I nod in response. Inches away from finishing the proclaimed 'Awesomeness-double chocolate-sprinkled-trippled layered-yachi x yamaguchi- express cake', I drop it in the perfect spot and wipe my brow.
Why did we give it such a complicated name?
"Ready? Three, two..." the small blonde exclaims as she held the camera to her face.
I throw her a thumbs up as I barely stick my head over the cake. My legs quiver on the foot stool until my phone vibrates violently in my pocket, making me jerk forward and land face first in the cake.
"One!"
In that same second, Yachi's camera flashed, blinding my eyes. I taste the several layers of diabetes as I took in a mouthful of cake. She blinked in confusion as she was decorated in cake as well.
Wiping the several layers of frosting off my face, I peep upwards to my beautiful girlfriend who was covered in frosting. I awkwardly grin an apologetic smile. She wipes the frosting off her pink cheeks and starts giggling, unfazed by all the hard work ruined in an insant. She uses her shirt to wipe the camera, exposing a tiny bit of skin. I blush and look away because it seemed impolite to stare. I feel Yachi reach for my hand, thinking she wanted to hold it. I sense her leaning forward and a blush slowly crept up my neck.
Oh my gosh, she's coming closer to me. Does she... want to kiss me?
I instinctively pucker my lips and Yachi encloses her fingers on my cell phone.
"Must be an important phone call." she laughs and answers the phone, "Moshi moshi.... Ah? WHAT?!"
Gosh darnit. I thought maybe she would've... now this is just embarrassing.
"Ah Yachi, who is it?" I giggled nervously, eating the frosting off my face. She turns to me, pale in the face and immediately I was filled with concern.
"Yams, we need to go now. Oh and-"
Her lips grazed mine in a millisecond, but it was the best millisecond of my life. It was my first kiss and it felt like an epiphany on my lips. I could feel the warmth of my face creep up my ears. She was just as red as me until she distracted herself with the cake. She sticks a finger in the frosting and licks her finger.
"Hm! Chocolate!" the cute blonde said excitedly and I chuckled as we cleaned up the mess

I can't believe she did that. I thought she'd be too scared to make the first move. Boy am I lucky.

"Supplementary summer courses. Bah this is baloney!" I fill out a test paper as the teacher shushes me. She held a cross face as she handed out another test paper. Her heels clicked on the classroom floor as she circled back and forth from me and another poor loser.
And that poor loser happened to be none other than my best friend, Tanaka; I thank the heavens he was just as stupid as I am.
"You have one hour. I have an important phone call to make. If you need anything I'll be in the teachers lounge. And no funny business." she leaves us dimwits to our chemistry test papers. A set of chemistry equipment was also laid out in front of us to use as well.
"Man, who knew second year would be this hard." Tanaka sighed as he filled out his paper with gibberish. He dropped a strong smelling solution in a beaker, making a fizzing noise.
"Yeah I know right? What a bummer. Could've been on the beach seeing all those girls in bikinis..."
We sigh simultaneously while drifting off into our own worlds.
"Well, do whatcha gotta do." I begin doodling on my paper and Tanaka snickers at my lame drawing of Daichi.
"Hey look I'm Daichi but you can call me DAD-chi. One of my children, Noya-san, can be quite a handful. He's the puppy of the team. Not because he's cute but because he's not potty trained." I imitate my captain and Tanaka chuckles. He holds up a piece of paper with a poorly drawn Suga.
"Well hello DAD-chi. I'm Sugawara, but my real name is Suga-MAMA. You must thank me for all the times I've helped out with the team, especially with that bald delinquent Tanaka, without me, you'd be handling a buttload of kids." Tanaka impressioned Suga and I let out a loud snort,
"HA, I doubt Suga would ever say 'buttload' or even swear for that matter"
"True true. What a pure angel" he nodded in agreement as we dropped random crap into our beakers.
To be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing.
An abrupt infamous ringtone was heard from across the room, catching my full attention.
'I like big butts and I cannot lie, you other brother can't deny, that when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face, you get sprung~'
"HAHAH WHAT THE HELL!" I laugh at his catchy but disturbing ringtone. He snickers and shrugs his shoulders.
"What!? It's a good song!" he walks over to his backpack in full stealth mode and successfully opens his bag. A small beep sounded from his cell as he brought it closely to his ear.
"Ah Suga! We were just talking about you." Tanaka said in a hushed tone, "What? But we're in the middle of... Suga! Don't swear at me!"
I look up from my paper and Tanaka looks at me with the same perplexed look. He mouths to me a 'I don't know' and shrugs his shoulders.
"Alright. We'll be there." he agreed as he hung up.
Eh I was getting bored anyway.
"Lets go! Adventure awaits!"

I was wading in Oikawa's pool, taking my sweet precious time in the sun. Basking in its glory and getting tanned for the summer. Floating around in my flamingo floaty, Oikawa was beside me in his alien one. We were drinking pina coladas and reading away at our sports magazines.
"Hey, I didn't know you made it on this issue." I pointed out and snicker at my boyfriend's awkward modelling poses. Oikawa was holding up a volleyball to his face with his arm propped up on his hip. His facial expression was serious but it made me snicker.
Trashykawa, you looks so stupid. Still kinda hot though...
"Whaaat. My dad made me okay? Maybe you should be in one with meee" he makes the most adorable pout as he takes a sip from his pineapple shaped drink.
"You're annoying." I snort as I flip another page, "annoyingly cute."
"Heh. I knew you couldn't resist meeee." Oikawa teases, making me kick over his floaty. He comes crashing down in the pool all wet and soggy. His floppy hair not so floppy anymore.
"Now you're just annoying." Oikawa spits out the pool water and swims over to me. I cower in my floaty as he teases, "Im gonna get cha"
"Oi Oi! I'm going to spill my drink!" I retorted, holding up the magazine and drink to prevent it from getting soaked.
"Not if I can help it." my boyfriend teases as he submerges underwater.
I lost sight of him and the anticipation of him popping out of nowhere was killing me.
"GOTCHA!" he screams. He pops up right under me, making me topple over into the cold refreshing pool water.
"Son of a-"
Oikawa reaches for me and wraps his fingers around my neck. I sigh in defeat as he displays the most irresistible smile on his face. My eyebrow raised as Oikawa closed the gap between us.
How did I get so lucky?
"Hmm, aren't I so lucky?" he says in a low sultry voice. He pulls me closer and my hands wrap around his defined torso. I smile slyly as I feel a pair of lips on mine, slightly wet. I could taste the pina colada on his lips, making me smirk.
"Hmm. I was thinking the same." I say in between kisses.
Just then, a ringing of a distant cellphone caught my attention.
"Awee and just when it was about to get interesting." Oikawa whined as he nibbled on my neck.
"Oi, what if it's important." I say all breathy. I swim slightly to the end of the pool, making Oikawa all needy and whiney.
"Not as important as me Iwa-chan???" he gleamed all flirtatiously, making me roll my eyes. I swim to the other side of the pool and reach blindly for the cellphone.
"Suga? Yes? Oh."
"It can't be that important now can it?"
Oikawa whispers seductively in my ear from behind, earning an elbow to the stomach.
"I'll be there" I say sternly as Oikawa starts kissing me again.
"Oi! I need to go." I say stepping out of the pool. My wet shorts clung to my legs, defining its shape.
"Told you Iwa-chan you're getting big" Oikawa smiles mischievously from below. I splash the pool water into his face and my boyfriend makes a pout again.
"Ugh. So you're just going to leave me here?" he complains. I shoot out my hand towards him and say cooly, "nope, you're coming with me."
~
My rowdy friends were in the pickup truck I borrowed from Saeko. It was packed in the truck and everyone started to sweat profusely. They all groaned as they sat shoulder to shoulder. Some of them were even scrunched up in a ball on the floor.
I wouldn't be risking everyone's lives if it wasn't desperate. I know I can't do this alone, but if something happened to any of them... I'd be held responsible. I know what I'm doing is careless and selfish but I didn't force them to do this. They could've backed away any moment, but they insisted. They love (F/N) as much as I do.
"Suga. Are you sure this is going to work?" Kuroo asked as his head grazed the top of the truck
God damn he's tall.
I grip tighter on the steering wheel until my knuckles become white. The rest of them remained silent until Mika added,
"I'm sure it will. Won't it Suga?" she held onto dear life just like the rest of them in the back of the truck. I turned abruptly on the pavement and all of them were squished to one side.
"Yachi. Inventory check!" Noya exclaimed.
"Right! Uh... Ropes, spy goggles, climbing gloves, stink bombs, nunchucks, baseball bats, walkie-talkies, ear pieces, masks, crowbars, laptops, chemistry set, blueprints and...cooking pans???" Yachi noted curiously and everyone turned around in confusion.
"What? I didn't have anything else to bring." Yam's declared as he held onto the bag for Yachi.
"Alright. Perfect" I mumbled as I made another sharp turn. Kenma screeched like a cat in the back as Bokuto squished him to the window.
"We're here." I say breathless as the rest of them peered through the window.
A well decorated mansion was in the view. It had flourished bushes full of countless roses and other rare and expensive flowers. It was like in those movies. Around the mansion was a barricade of gates and two guards at the front. They were dressed in raven coloured suits, with their hands held behind their backs. They paced back and forth in a uniformed matter. It was like they were waiting for someone to break in. It was like they knew we were coming.
Taking a deep breath in, Mika notices how stressed I am as she places a hand on my shoulder,
"We got this. We've been through the plan over and over."
"Okay quick roll-call check." I say clearing my throat, "Kenma and Kuroo are the distraction. Mika, Hajime, Toma and Bokuto are front line. Yams and Yachi are our eyes. Noya and Tanaka are the second line. Tsukishima is the driver and lookout. As for me, I'll be first to reach the end point"
I point at the blueprint of the mansion that I studied inside and out. The plan was ridiculous and absolutely crazy, but it was all I mustered up within the short time I had. To save (F/N). That was the goal.
"Wait what about me?!" Oikawa whines. I look at him and realize I didn't give him a role.
You weren't supposed to be here in the first place...
I gaze skeptically at Hajime who just sighs, "I guess I'll bring him..."
"Is everyone ready?" I say nervously, gazing around at my friends who were pressed up against each other. They all gave me a thumbs up and I sigh in relief, "you can always back out-"
"No, we can do this." Tsukishima said firmly and everyone raised their eyebrows in surprise. Taking in a big gulp, Kuroo pats down on his suit sleeves while Kenma fixes his hair.
"You know what to do." I nodded and Kurro and Kenma exit the vehicle.
"Bah, why didn't one of the girls just volunteer to do this." Kenma mumbled bitterly. He was wearing a pink frilly dress from Mika's closet. Toma and Mika painted Kenma's face with a full on concealer, eyelashes, thick eyebrows, blush, etc.
"Because you're easier to carry..." Kuroo mumbled sideways. Kuroo swept up Kenma in his arms suddenly and approach the butlers. Kenma went limp in his arms as Kuroo ran frantically to the men at the gates.
"HELP, SOMEONE HELP ME! MY WIFE JUST PASSED OUT ON THE STREET!"
The guards were surprisingly greeted by Kenma, who Kuroo tossed at the guards. Kenma went flying and hit both of them in the face. The guards fell backwards as they hit their heads on the hard cement.
Okay, I didn't plan that part...
"God I hate this" Kenma mumbled as he collected himself from the floor. Kuroo punched both guards in the faces, ensuring that they remained unconscious. They dragged the guards by their feet and disappeared behind the bushes to stash the bodies. They appeared after a few minutes and Kuroo and Kenma gave me a thumbs up.
It's go time
