~9 months later~

"WHERE IS THE DAMN DOCTOR!" The nurse shouted.

Cristina was screaming while having contractions on the hospital bed. Her parents hadn't gotten there yet so Shawn was next standing next to her holding her hand.

She was only 5 centimeters dilated and Shawn already thought that she was going to break his hand. Cristina screamed again as the doctor came into the room.

"I HAVE BEEN IN LABOR FOR FOUR HOURS! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" She growled at her.

"I'm so sorry Mrs. Hunter. I am Dr. Gold." She turned to the nurse. "How far is she?"

"7 centimeters dilated ma'am."

She groaned once again at the excruciating pain.

"I WANT THIS BABY OUT!"

"It's okay babe. You're almost all the way dilated and then you can start pushing."

"9 centimeters." The nurse said.

Shawn rubbed Cristina's back. "You got this babe it's all gonna be okay."

"REALLY?! BECAUSE I DON'T FEEL OKAY! I FEEL LIKE THESE CONTRACTIONS ARE GONNA KILL ME!"

"10 centimeters! Okay Cristina, start pushing dear."

She begins to push and she squeezes Shawn's hand harder. He wanted to say ow, but he felt that if he did it wouldn't end well for him.

Cristina screamed as she pushed.

"SHAWN HUNTER YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!"

"She doesn't mean it." The nurse says.

"SHE CAN SPEAK FOR HERSELF!" She shouted.

"Keep pushing Cristina, we see a head."

She pushed harder and Shawn's hand starts to feel numb.

"It's okay babe. You're doing great."

"BULLSHIT I'M DOING GREAT! THIS IS THE MOST PAINFUL THING I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED! I'M SWEATY! I'M SOBBING! AND THE BABY ISN'T EVEN HALFWAY OUT YET! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!" Shawn never knew she could be so hostile.

She pushed harder and screamed again.

"She's going through a lot right now Mr. Hunter she's just trying to deal with the pain."

"EVERYONE SHUT UP!" She groaned as she squeezed even harder on his hand.

"Babe! I love you but if you keep squeezing, i'm not gonna be able to hold the baby because my hand will be broken."

"SCREW YOU!" She screamed as she let go of his hand and he began to regain feeling in it.

"The head is out! You just need one more big push and then the shoulders can come out. From there the rest is easy."

"Wait the head is out? I wanna see!" Shawn said.

However as soon as he saw it he regretted it. Let's just say that the miracle of birth doesn't exactly look like a miracle in the moment.

He suddenly felt light headed and walked back over to Cristina's bedside and put his hand on her back.

"Come on babe! One more big push!"

She takes a few deep breaths and then screams as loud as possible as does her last big push.

"The baby is out!"

Cristina lays back into the reclined bed and tried to catch her breath as she hears her baby crying.

"It's a girl." The nurses cut the umbilical cord and took the baby to the corner of the room to clean her off.

Shawn and Cristina start to cry tears of happiness as the nurse carried the little girl over to them. "Congratulations." She says.

The baby calms down and begins to stop crying as Cristina held her in her arms. "She's perfect." Cristina said as she held her.

Shawn reached his hand hand to her and the baby grabbed his finger with her whole hand.

"She's the most precious thing in the world." He says.

"You wanna hold her?" His eyes light up and Cristina hands her over to him. The baby's eyes open and she smiles up at Shawn. Cristina couldn't help but smile at them. "Look at that. She's a daddy's girl."

Shawn laugher quietly. "She has your smile."

"She has your eyes."

"I can already tell she's gonna be a heartbreaker."

Cristina giggled at her husband.

"What should we name her?"

They had decided that she had to be born first before they could named her. They thought that naming her before they had even seen her would've been weird.

"How about...Rose?"

"No, Rose seems too delicate. She's gonna be a little mischievous child I can already tell."

"I mean she's half of both of us. How could she not be?"

"How about Reece?"

"I like it." Shawn had an idea. "Reece Delilah Hunter."

Cristina smiled up at her husband.

"It's perfect."

"Just like her."
