Aidan's P.O.V

6 months later

"Babe. Time to wake up." I say, nudging May. She opens her eyes slowly and smiles at me.

"Morning." She says quietly.

"Morning. I've got some work to do in the office so I'm going to go and spend some time on it now so we can do something later." I say, sliding out of bed and pulling on some clothes. I kiss her forehead and head to my office.

About 20 minutes later I feel sick. But I know it's not me. It's May.

I sprint back to our room and hear noises coming from the bathroom. I run in and find May leaning over the toilet puking.

I stride over quickly and pull her hair out of her face and rub her back softly.

She stops after a while and I pull her back softly and she sits on my lap.

"You okay?" I ask, still rubbing her back.

"Yea I'm fine. I think I'll just have a day in bed. See if I can kick this bug." She says, getting up and stumbling a little.

I catch her and straighten her up. I pick her up and carry her to the bed and lay her down softly.

"That sounds like a good idea. I'm going to go get you some water." I say.

I head downstairs and fill a glass with ice and water then carry it back up to May. I place it on the bedside table and lay down beside May on the bed.

"Want to watch The Lord Of The Rings to make you feel better?" I ask, stroking her hair.

"Yes please." She says quietly.

I reach over and turn on the move then movie back to my spot with my arms wrapped around her. May snuggles into my chest.

After a while I hear May's breathing become calm and I look down to see she's fallen asleep.

I smile and fall asleep myself.

When I wake up I feel May moving and look down to see she's awake too.

"Hey. Felling any better?" I ask her.

"Yea. I think I'm fine now." She says, sitting up.

We both get up and May slips on my sweatshirt over her PJs because the whole pack is out for the day.

Raya comes home and May and her decide to go have a chick flick marathon. I politely decline joining them and instead decide to get some more work done. I hear a shriek an hour after of hard working. I mind link May to check on her.

You okay? I ask.

Yea. Raya's just freaking out about something. She says.

Okay I say then go back to work.

I get another few hours work done before May mind links me again.

Hey. I have something to tell you later. She says.

Okay. Are you sure you don't want to tell me now? I ask her.

Yea no. It's okay for now. Later I promise. She says quickly.

I think about this for a moment before I'm once again lost in my piles and piles of paperwork. The pack reports and transfer forms take time in themselves but with the pile of them I have it's going to take quite a long time which is why this is such a relief. When I'm with May I get lost in her and the paperwork slowly piles up.

I take a few days like this to get it all done. When there's a lot of it May volunteers to help me. Most of the time that she has she spends with the pack members. She looks after some of the pack members children or organises events and parties with the pack women. She even goes and trains with my pack warriors sometimes. She gets along with basically everyone in the pack.

Raya and May got impossibly closer after the wedding and spend most of the time together.

May and I have spent every second together after the wedding. I was so happy to say that the reason that the wedding ring on her finger is because of me and that means that she is even more officially mine. Plus she is the most incredible Luna I could possibly have asked for my pack. She keeps my temper under control. I would like to think that I don't have much of a temper but when we've caught the rogues that try to attack our pack, I'm not quite so nice. May helps me calm down and sometimes even conducts the interview. She's good at it to. She makes them think that she'll let them go and that she would never let us hurt them. She extracts the information and leaves them in the cells.

After getting another hour of work in I realise that I'm very hungry. I head downstairs and make myself a sandwich. I'm sitting eating when Raya comes down to grab a bag of chips.

"So what were you excited about?" I ask her casually, meaning about the thing May told me earlier.

"Oh nothing. I'm sure May will tell you." She says hurriedly before basically sprinting out of the room and up the stairs.

Weird. My wolf grumbles

"I'm sure we'll find out soon." I tell him.

Let's hope so. He says back.

"What does that mean?" I ask him.

What if she doesn't want to tell us? He asks.

"She will tell us when she's ready to tell us. I have faith." I tell him.

Humans. He mumbles.

I roll my eyes and shut off the connection.

After I finish eating I head up and do a little more work. I actually finish everything that I need to get done.

"Just heading off. Bye Alpha." Raya says, sticking her head into my office as she heads out.

"I told you to call me Aidan. Bye Raya!" I call out.

I hear her laugh.

I file my last piece of paper and head up to my room. I find May laying on the bed watching The Lord Of The Rings. By the looks of it she continued on from when she fell asleep earlier.

"Hey." I say, slipping into the bed beside her and wrapping my arms around her.

"Hey." She says.

We sit in silence and just watch the movie.

She pauses the movie and hops out of bed.

"Come for a walk with me?" She asks.

I nod and hop up too.

May pulls on some sweatpants, a sweater and ugg boots. I smile when I see that she's still wearing the necklace I gave her when she was introduced to the pack.

She grabs my hand and pulls me outside. We take a walk into the forest and stop when we reach a clearing.

"What's up?" I ask her.

"I need to tell you something." She says, looking nervous. She runs a hand through her hair, making her look even more nervous.

"What is it?" I ask, slightly nervous.

"I'm." She starts but pauses.

"What? You can tell me anything. I promise I won't get mad." I say, placing a hand on either side of her face.

She takes a deep breath.

"I'm pregnant." She says.

I gape at her.

"Wha- really?" I ask.

She nods slowly.

I gape and my open mouth soon turns into a large grin.

"You're pregnant." I ask, grinning and looking down at her stomach then back at her face.

"Yes. Yes I'm pregnant." She says, her eyes tearing up.

"I'm gonna be a dad?" I ask, feeling my own eyes tear up.

"Yes." She says, grinning at me.

"Why were you nervous to tell me?" I ask her.

"I didn't know if you'd be happy about it." She says.

"I'm over joyed. You're pregnant." I say, picking her up and spinning her around.

"Yea. We're going to be a family." She says, wrapping her arms around me.

"We're going to be a family." I confirm, kissing her happily then spinning her around again.
