I stayed a moment longer just watching Gaara fade, before i sighed and followed after Kakashi and Sakura.

Now-

I sat in my chair looking over the documents that Kakashi had just brought back. It seems strange. Finding a lead and then finding nothing? Something, doesn't smell right with these missing nin's. Well, at least relations between Suna and Konoha have improved. Quiet a lot actually. I set the file down on my desk and pulled a bottle of Sake out from under my desk. I giggled lightly, shizune is working in the hospital, so that means sake for me!!!! Still, i suppose we have Naruto to thank for the improvement in our relationship with Suna. Little brat. I giggled again began to drink my precious sake.

I sighed i unlocked the door to my apartment. I missed gaara. I walked in and shut my door behind me before going to put my things away. I have a little closet where i put everything. Its near the kitchen. It was originally supposed to be a pantry, but i use it to store my tools and things. I just keep my food in my cabinets. I don't really need a lot of dishes and silverware. So that leave more space for food. I went to my room and laid down. A clock ticked by in the background. I miss gaara. I rolled over. I miss gaara. The though keeps echoing in my head. With each tic of the clock.

Gaara. Gaara. Gaara. Gaara.

I sighed. And rolled to face my window, it was late when we got home. And i felt anxious and worried. When will get to see you next Gaara? When can i tell i missed you? And with that thought blazing through my brain, i fell asleep.

We arrived back in Suna while the was sinking into the sand dunes. Heavy and deep. It fell, as if the sky could no longer hold it up into the sky. Temari went up towards the Kazekage building and Kankuro and i followed close behind. The village doesn't have a kazekage yet, since we are still trying to decide upon who should be the Kazekage. Of course i have been sent out on many missions. And doing various things trying to improve my status in the village enough for me to be considered Kazekage. It helps that i know several of the Konoha ninja and i am friends with the kyuubi's jinchuriki. But while to helps it also hurts. They want you close but not close enough to be considered a traitor it's a very fine line. Luckily, it seems the younger generation have taken a liking to me. So the chances of me becoming Kazekage are pretty good i think if not. Well. I will cross that bridge when i reach it. We entered and submitted our report. As we turned to leave one of the elders spoke up and stopped us in out tracks.

"Gaara. Stay here for a moment. Temari. You may leave." Temari glanced at me quickly before she made her exit. "Gaara. Listen closely to what we are about to say."
